So I had a quick question for you because I could not find the answer on Harley Davidson blogs or anywhere for that matter. But I turned on my bike without turning on the engine and pushed the indicator on the left just like your video shows and I could see that it says gear/RPMs but how do you get it to show when you are in first and second and so on with the gears? Do I have to have the engine on? Without fully turning the engine on I clicked it down to first and I did not see anywhere on the indicator that I was in first gear. Thank you in advance I hope my question made sense.

I’ve only done the 1k mile maintainer and it was about $300 but after that oil changed are cheaper

They really aren't bad if you do it yourself, it's not hard at all to do. Doing it yourself or taking it to a indy shop would be around 50 to 60 bucks depending on what oil you choose.

Sportsters don’t need valve adjustment, no chain to lube, two easy access spark plugs. Very easy maintenance.

About 50 miles per gallon.No indicator but dummy light will come on when your down to the last gallon.
