The chef's skill in cooking the king crab is undeniable. He expertly cracks open the shell and extracts the meat, showing a deep understanding of the intricacies of cooking seafood. His attention to detail and dedication to creating the perfect dish is truly inspiring. It is clear that he has a passion for cooking and takes great pride in his craft. Watching him cook is not only entertaining, but it is also educational for those interested in improving their own cooking skills.
@@davidhuang5042yeah reading your comment made me realize I do that. I had the most unique fajita tonight (cooked with pineapple and other things) and wish I stopped more to taste

Yo I was legit thinking the exact same thing. Just when they're sitting down next to each other eating, their very close and comfortable being next to each other. It's fr heart warming to see.
You can tell he really loves his sons, it’s heartwarming to see somebody who’s a renowned professional sometimes putting on the “dad hat” and just having fun with his family haha
what is even more impressive is the evident bond between him and his son. As they work together to prepare the meal, it is clear that they share a deep love and respect for one another. It is heartwarming to see a father and son work together so seamlessly and with such joy.
There's an episode where he was making a seafood soup and he undercooked the seafood and asked his son does he know why he did that and the son said it's because it will finish cooking in the soup and he looked so proud that his son knew that.
"You should have opinion, always should have opinion. Even it's good or bad. You know what I mean? But the opinion gotta be honest." Came for Sursur and King Crab, stayed for the life lessons.

I’m an artist by profession(Eastern Orthodox icon painter), and your dad’s advice to “exhale before you make your painting stroke” at 5:29 is absolutely true and this maxim can be applied to any activity that requires steady fine motor function. Your dad is a wonderful human being and you are extraordinarily blessed to have him as a father. Thank you for sharing him and his wisdom with those of us who were not blessed with a father in their lives.❤
20 years and that kitchen is CLEAN!! Respect, many great restaurants that have been around are absolutely filthy. This man deserves all the success he’s had!
Tell you something you don’t know about him. His clean stander of this kitchen is he can cook in the kitchen without wearing shoes 😂 my friend working in his kitchen told me.
@@Soso-hs7vv that is the most ridiculous thing I have heard. And I 100 percent believe it for some reason lol. Can’t imagine hot oil cooking with no footwear.
Every Dad should make it a goal in life to have this kind of connection with their son. Your relationship makes the channel. You clearly have this awesome bond and that makes everything else so enjoyable to watch. I'm glad I found this channel!
I live in Alaska. Every summer my son catches Alaska king crab. This presentation that you have given is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. Your preparation and presentation is so worthy of that king crab who has given his life for people like us.
Dude this is so sick, just what we've been waiting for, to see Mr Lee in his element doing his master set, WITH the all the love and compassion for his son beside him, working his best to help his son be successful at what he does with youtube. Its truly a blessing in disguise to witness. Maybe some cant see this deeper level of pure love but I sure as hell can. Dont try to be anything but truly authentic like this, its a fragile thing, money, views, popularity, ego can quickly and easily tear it to shreds. Love y'all. And if you cant tell I love and miss my dad very much...
The love this dad for his son to cook such an extravagant dish is phenomenal. Honestly just seeing the bond they both have for food and the sea is just refreshing.
Such a creative chef. Food always looks mouthwatering too. The father son collaboration is a great crossover from Jet's channel. The same format works perfectly, and chef is a natural storyteller as well.
This might sound weird: I have seen, say, Gordon Ramsey cook hundreds of things, but I still don't feel like I know what his cooking is really like. There's just something so authentic about the way Susur preps and cooks - maybe it's him, maybe it's the editing, or the ingredients he has used so far, I don't know. But I feel like I actually know what his cooking is like. I just really like watching these.
Bro me too. I love Gordon for his flair, but he's way too fast the way he talks and to see what he's doing. Especially the actual cooking/searing process. Also this man actually explains the small things that matter so much better. I pickup small culinary tips so much better.
Hey guys just want to say that I can see where you’re coming from but as a (very) amateur home chef I have been making different chefs recipes for a number of years…. I’ve just more recently come across Chef Lee, so haven’t tried any of his recipes….my point is of all the chefs I’ve tried recipes from…. GR’s ALWAYS work and the great thing I have found with his more simple home recipes is that there is a lot of room to add your own twist to them to suit yourself and your family. Just thoughts I’d mention that. Also I am drooling at these two king crab dishes…. But $400?? Just for the crab!!! I’m never going to be able to attempt this one. 😉
Honestly I love Chef Ramsay and always watch his stuff. But I love how cool and laid back your dad is, yet you can hear the passion in his voice even if he's calm and collected, you can see the artistry coming out. Truely an inspiration, I was trained to be a chef at ICE in nyc and people like your dad and Chef Ramsay have always inspired me to become a chef.
Just found out about this channel. Honestly wish I would have found Mr. Iron Chef SO much sooner! Love the content, the music is perfect, very relaxing and educational. I cook for my family and for my girlfriend at college, so I’m always trying to learn something new. Thank you so much for sharing your wisdom to us and teaching us in such an encouraging and wholesome way!
It's like that. The crypto space is a very sensitive area. It took me two months to understand the benefit of functioning correctly, the adaptation saved me. Thanks to the expert, John Joseph
What sets John Joseph apart from other account managers is his ability to comply. His managerial skills are second to none. With profitable weekly signals, one can only be grateful.
These videos are so inspiring for me as a new father to a young boy. I know there’s plenty more to a relationship behind the camera, but Sursur seems so distinguished. And I absolutely can not get enough of this editing! Excellent stuff. Quickly becoming my favorite on this entire platform.
❤ It touches my heart when I see someone who shows gratitude/ blessings to the animals or seafood that has been sacrificed for our nourishment. Respect
dude.... to think your dad has this ability makes me so jealous, this is 10/10 culinary art that I only wish I could prepare. big ups to your dad and his dedication to good food.
Thank you for sharing your father. Not everyone has the opportunity to hear positive things like "you should always have an opinion, whether good or bad." So thank you Lee family.
I love how even in their talking and eating, Dad's encouraging his son to reflect on the dish, and try and bring him in. Love seeing a Chef in his natural element!
You both are so great together! Iron Chef Dad is a genius chef with culinary master pieces! Your son brings it and you creat a delicious meal! Genuinely fun to watch! Lots of love and respect!
3 Things I just love.....Is 1# Dad has so much love for Son #2 Puts a smile on dads face when jet loves his food.#3 Family =Joy in life. this just Beautiful. Im just a mom who cooks year ago at a restaurant as a chef with numb finger tips .lol but when my husband and kids enjoy a dish with love and i made it makes my world complete and seems ya dad is same. that's pricesless
Dude….just found this channel ……love it! I’m 52 years old….my son is 16. We both enjoy eating at restaurants and trying new things. Your chef skills are amazing! Thank you for this content. Awesome!!!!
Just started watching this channel, love the chemistry between you and your dad. My father is a chef too and always shared his love and passion for food, but we never had this kind of connection. I wish I had what you guys have, but I’m working on it! Subscribed my man
i make rolls and tempura a couple of weekends every month, for about a year now, and i watch a lot of videos in my pursuit to perfect them... but this is the first time ive ever seen a tempura encrusted roll. definitely going to try that.
That puff pastry bite with the creamy, sweet crab gratin! 🦀 my god. Haha love how your dad may trip up with words but when he's cooking his skills, techniques and end results are so smooth and effortless! My goodness, one day I'll try his amazing food!
I'm almost 50, but available for adoption! That man's knife skills alone blow my mind, let alone his flavour profiles and plating. I wish to learn more from him. So glad he is doing this instead of fixing Macdonalds menu items, even though that was pretty cool too! I await more culinary expertise advise and ideas. The mundane to him is still very exciting to me!
My god! You are so lucky to have such a skillfull and knowledgeable dad. The wibe between you two is so good. Amazing presentation as well. This made me super-hungry again.
