We all of the relationship with you and your dad and your family so wholesome and heartwarming, it fills a void within me. When my mother figured out that I could cook better than her she didn’t want me around anymore at all and would never let me cook for her and if she did she would try to sabotage it so she could feel like she was still the best ha ha ha that was the beginning to the end of our relationship which is really sad because they love food.

My dad used to make spaghetti carbonara when I was a kid and it was my favorite. Now I make it for my kids and it's their favorite. We live in the rural midwest and I've never even met another person who's ever even had it. Passing down recipes is a pretty special thing.

As your dad peeled off the shrooms i got nostalgic since i know that my dad was doing that as i was a kid but was never able to replicate that (how he holds the knife) It would be REALLY awesome if he could make a tutorial about that technique!
