Yes, Hazuki's Higher pitched backing vocals and the growl/scream from Mayu are really what makes this performance a high-quality variation of the original maiden performance. I love listening to maiden "live", because the production on their early records in studio, including this 1 was not very good, but of course the production in Tamu's studio is fantastic
Another great cover from them. They nailed it. Mayu sang it great and don't forget about Hazuki sing backup on the chorus. She sounded great singing with Mayu.
Incase you didn't know, they announced their 3rd album is out in January, with a new single out pretty soon. They're constantly working, always producing new stuff, they're amazing!
For all their covers, they dress in tribute to the original band/video. Try their covers of Japanese songs. this band is pure magic for sure. 100% every layer, outstanding. if they stay together and keep pumping out albums, I will not be surprised if they overtake my current top 2 bands, RUSH & BAND-MAID. BRIDEAR, LOVEBITES and Rolling Quartz not far behind...so much talent and amazing strong fun music coming out of these ladies.
Thanks again for the great reactions! I know you have already uploaded the video of "OIRAN", but I would like to share with you the phenomenal live performance of NEMOPHILA two years ago at NAON NO YAON, a festival with an all-female band. I would be very happy if you could check out the video! It is the official live video of NAON NO YAON 2021 on the NEMOPHILA channel. The girls are having a blast there!!🇯🇵👍
excellent ration as always ! , yes Nemophila did a very good cover , but when I listen to Aces Higt I always think of The Crusade by LOVEBITES (no plagiarism of course) but for me when Miyako wrote it she thought she was paying homage to Iron Maiden , or maybe she wanted to write a song that former bassist Miho who is a big Maiden fan would really like Lovebites - The Crusade [Live in Tokyo 2021] ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0guewPdnrKQ.html
It's a great song. Miyako Is a genius. There is a comment on the. Shadow maker video on their page, that reads, roughly, "When Miyako is old and her grandchildren ask her what she did in her life? She will say, I wrote Shadow maker". What a legacy she is going to have..
@@Rowlph8888 Yes you are right Miho did write The Crusade as a tribute to her favorire band and Steve Harris. I totally missed that in enmigo's comment.. I was just on a Miyako trip LOL and remembered the comment I once saw on a comment stream about her. Such an under rated member of the band, many people forget she was a co founder and wrote and contributed to many great songs.. She is also a phenominal bassist, and I really miss her and her on stage antics, Fami is way cool and is a great fit for the band, but isn't Miho.. Thanks for the corretction.. I should read properly first before I write.. My bad..
I got to say I'm impressed with the guitarists killing it on one of Maiden's fastest songs. I'm not gonna lie, I prefer Dickinson's vocals much more, but what a great cover of a great song.
Not a big deal but it isn't Mayu's pronunciation - it's Japanese pronunciation. The way they have to shape their mouths/tongue placement to speak their own language. It has a direct affect when speaking, in this case, English.
