The ONE metal anthem, worthy of universal praise, and performed by the true metal ICONS Iron Maiden it will always be an OUTSTANDING JEWEL in their discography......THIS is EPIC !!
The show, set list and their incredible music is a living proof of their brilliance and superiority...Theese guys are the EPITOME of metal music NO doubt what so ever !!
serban roman let's hope he will keep playing them! I raised that issue about 10 years ago here on someone else's channel, about the song didn't have the same feel... sounds like he was tinkering at first, then went for it.
For many the best iron maiden song , for some the best heavy metal song in history , unchanged over the years every performance of this song beter than the last some even say this song in enchanted... HALLOWEED BE THY NAME , UP THE IRONS FROM GREECE!!!!!!
crappy phone audio aside.. glad to know they are playing hallowed again..can't wait for some U S shows..notice they are hitting" piece of mind" album hard in set list.. my first maiden show was piece of mind tour..absolutely stellar. the rest is history.. up the irons!
It is great to have Hallowed Be Thy Name back in the set List. True classic. True stroke of genius. Does not get better than this!! Dave looks like he taking gas?? But still playing great
I have been into this band for over thirty years and they just keep getting better every year I unfortunately didn't get to see this show but I've seen them over fifteen times in the past book of souls tour the last one every time awesome
@Samson 92 its on maiden fans site its in maiden chat apparently they where in Paris studio with the producer Kevin Shirley I hope its true I will defiantly see them on the new tour I hope they play in arenas again not festivals
@Samson 92 Steve Harris said last year that the band would get back together in early 2019 and that they had already got some tracks written and the bones of a new album ready
Theese guys, the true metal ICONS and their incredible music, genius lyrics and breathtaking performances will enter the gates of heaven and eternal admiration, so all I can say will be Hallowed Be Thy Name !!!! MAGNIFICENT !!
Man the expression of Steve harris on 3:49 ( especially at strange illusion ) is like a mix between relief and happiness to have the song back in setlist after a long legal battle. I wish one day the episode with Beckett is long forgotten, and Maiden would not only honor the band by playing their song, but also invite them on stage... Becket is amazing... Maiden is godly legendary
Nishi Kori I´m totally obsessed by the guy, his phenomenal composing, his insanely brilliant guitar playing, and his enormous charisma and performances, so we do agree !!
They should do an album of they’re favorite remakes with a spice of Maiden!Have the album cover done in the concept of something being done in a cloning format by Derek Riggs.Maybe a wishbone Ash song?
Janick wounded his fingers...run roadie...run kkkk, but all the concert sounds incredible, amazing, they´re better than never, and the new Bruce´s clothes are awesome!
I've seen Maiden 3 times & I must say they are great. I just wish they would jam & change up the songs a bit. Have solos & fuck with the crowd. They play each song note per note just like the record.
To those who say Paul DiAnno was a better singer, don’t get me wrong I love Paul, but do think he can sing like this at age 60 having suffered cancer just 3 years ago
Is'nt it fabulous fun, when mature, decent Maiden fans can have an adult conversation/debate;with differing views without resorting to foul language & insults. And respectfully disagree on things. Apart from Dylan Gers & Up the Irons, who are probably sulking, as they're little sisters' just beat them up,or hidden they're crayons or,even worse, Bieber teddy bear's gone missing.Look in your doll's house..... Jannick Gers comes across as a top,top bloke.Pure & simple I don't like his guitar playing or stage presentation.I'm not the only Maiden fan who thinks this...He divides opinion... In the past,ex-members who were hugely popular with the fans,Di'Anno, Clive Burr & Adrian & Bruce & Blaze even, yet they were still 'over'with the majority of the fan base..... & that's my point. As popular as Jannick is,when the band play a Hits/Heritage set,why should Jannick STILL play Adrian's parts on the older stuff? Let's face it,if this band did an exclusivley 90 -99 themed tour, it would utter financial suicide....
+susanne williamsson Howdy again, Susanne.I hope you are well. Great to see your still fighting Jannick's corner, & despite him being the 6th best guitarist in the band,he still has a fan,in yourself .However I respectfully disagree with you, regarding his playing & his stage presentation & I think you should be courteous & mature enough to accept a differing view,to your own. Take it easy..
R Snowdon howdy, I will always be fighting in his corner, but I have every respect for your ( and an overwhelming majority ) opinion. Still there´s a lot of us too...the funny thing is that I DO love and admire both Adrian and Dave just as much...I can´t really explain, he just has taken my heart completely....
I'm a maiden fan since I was 8 I'm now 40 I've seen them live 6 times. I love yanic in the band think he contributed a lot to some of the recordings but I have to agree he plays the solos like he isn't even concentrating jumping around during epic solo's playing first thing that enters his head instead of trying to get them close to recordings like Adrian and dave do.
crappy phone audio aside.. glad to know they are playing hallowed again..can't wait for some U S shows..notice they are hitting" piece of mind" album hard in set list.. my first maiden show was piece of mind tour..absolutely stellar. the rest is history.. up the irons!
