Finally, a new Harp Twins IRON MAIDEN cover! As you might know, we love a challenge. So, yes, we took on probably our most challenging Maiden arrangement yet - and still on only two harps! We recorded this track on our electro-acoustic Concert Grand harps, but filmed the video with our smaller electric harps because we couldn’t bring our concert grands into the sand. The exposed mechanics in the harp base would be ruined by the sand, and we had to hike up some serious dunes to get to our epic filming location! Speaking of sand, the wind when we were filming was absolutely insane. The sand was being whipped up at us the whole shoot. If you look closely, you can see the waves of sand sweeping across the dunes around us. Our costumes were inspired by Isis, the Egyptian goddess of magic, death, healing, and re-birth. We included a bit of everything in our arrangement - guitar pedals, soundboard hand percussion, and lots and lots of pedal / lever changes to get all of those accidentals and key changes! We hope you enjoy our massive and hypnotic version of this Maiden classic. We hope you also enjoy our version of the guitar solo - which ended up being a serious harp solo!

Really a cool video! Lots and lots of lever changes and so much excitement! Awesome drone coverage by mom as well as the whole video too was perfectly filmed by the great one! This has now got to be your longest video! The Harp Bards are really getting their money's worth! Again, the make up was so beautiful and perfectly applied! It must have taken a good amount of time. Well, that's about it for now. Going to get some more views in after work. I wish I could have made the live stream. Like Camille and Kennerly by the wind, I'm simply blown away by this video. This... is... so.... awesome! You've outdone yourselves, yet again. 🥰🥰 The landscape, the costumes, your winglike choreography... and of course the song... I cannot imagine how difficult it was to rearrange it on two harps, but you did it, and it sounds marvelous. One year ago, I wouldn't have believed that anybody could play Iron Maiden on harps and that on top of that it might sound good, but I was SO wrong. It's not your first Maiden cover but it might be one of the best (either this, or "Fear of the Dark"). That's a real teaser for your upcoming album "Harp Attack 4" which I'm proud to having been able to take part in the Kickstarter campaign. Great job, well done, all of you... the two of you, your mom, and the "mysterious stranger" 😉 for the cameo. You all rock! 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘

You'd be correct B. Actually, with this one, I was asking if you thought Iron Maiden's "Powerslave" or Queen's "The Prophet Song" should be the song I commission. You swayed my vote in the right direction. The situation you're thinking about was when I asked which version of "Bring Your Daughter..." was better, the original Dickinson version from that film series I don't like, or the Maiden version that was re-tooled for their "No Prayer For The Dying". And also where Dickinson's original was used in that installment of that film series I don't like. I think we agreed that Dickinson's vocals were better in his solo version, but musically, the Maiden version is superior.

A different type of start -- What does he see? A mirage? Two mirages? Two golden mirages in the fearsome desert !?!? Now there are two black harps and black and silver Harp Twins! Glittering twins are also swirling golden fans -- wind-blown and swinging in the torrid air. Camille & Kennerly's great arrangement honors Iron Maiden's three busy guitars, shredded by Adrian, Nicko and Dave, plus Bruce's keening vocal melody and Steve's mighty bass, with gorgeous costumes reflecting "Powerslave's" Egyptian album cover. As the beautiful mirage fades, our anonymous witness is left to ponder: "All around is laid waste, and in my last hour, I'm a slave to the power of Death ..."

Awesome arrangement of a great Iron Maiden song! Beautifully done music video! Seeing the sand dunes in this video, and then watching one of your videos filmed in Alaska, has some incredible contrast showing us the variety of landscapes you choose for filming in and the challenges you work in such as the blowing sand! As if I haven't said it enough already during the live chat, as the fortunate Harp Head who got the chance to commission this song by contributing to the Kickstarter for "Harp Reflections", I knew, based solely on their exquisite work on "Fear Of The Dark" and "One", that Camille and Kennerly were going to come up with something truly special with their rendition of my all-time favorite Iron Maiden song. To say that my expectations were exceeded isn't just an understatement... to be honest, even with my extensive vocabulary and penchant for wordsmithing, I don't think I can come up with phrasing that would adequately compliment what was created here. The Lord has definitely blessed our beloved Harp Twins with such wonderfully remarkable skill and creativity in what they craft, and my appreciation and gratitude for their amazing work cannot be expressed enough. Your costumes and make up would rival Cleopatra. Your music brought us back in time to when ancient Egypt was the world. It may have been a desert, but you were an oasis for all of us poor weary travelers. Your music did sooth the all devouring serpent, Apophis, and instead of Un-creation, life did spring up. The anticipation builds. Also, I'll have to wait an hour after it airs to watch it. XD. But some things are absolutely worth waiting for. And this, I am sure, is one of them

Interesting how this video starts out almost exactly as the new Iron Maiden video "The writing on the wall" does with someone collapsing in the desert. Prophetic.

Now that's a wonderful cover there. Love the costumes as well. The way that wind was blowing with all that sand I was worried that the sand would somehow damage your harps.
