I started listening to Iron Maiden at the age of 15 now am 22. Their songs r out of the world. Whenever I felt happy, depressed or stressed due to exams, their songs supported me, as if they were meant for me. Their latest release 2days b4 my birthday is the best gift i can ever get. The make music for love of music n they know how to please their fans
Hey my dear friends, thank you very much for all your supports. It's so good to see the love from the maiden fans community. I just wanted to say that life is going well for me. I'm a registered GP doctor, and I'm planning to move to the birthplace of Iron Maiden for my further specialization. I hope to meet them there. Thank you again everyone. UP THE IRONS \m/
Back when I was in school in grade 4, we were all told to wear clothes that were signature to a religion and then talk about how the clothing reflects the faith and culture. Lmao, I was the only kid to wear an iron maiden tee and talk how metal is a way of life for certain kinds of people and all that. Fast forward to 2020 (14 years later), Maiden, more specifically Bruce Dickinson, still plays a vital role in my life. The way he sings and performs, really pulls me off my human shell and places me in the shell of the character they usually sing about (ex- Alexander the Great, Clansman). It's like time travelling, almost like being caught somewhere in time, like a stranger in a strange land. Really makes me more active in the collective conscience, iron maiden to me is like some sort of Shamanism. Thank you Bruce Dickinson for what you gave to the world
@@rendiorton499 All jokes aside...and yours reminded me of Michael Douglas, Bruce Dickinson's book kinda explains (or suggests) all the electronics in the nose of a Modern airline are tough on pilots. It seems that cancer in the back of the mouth is common amount airline pilots. Enjoy!
@@guyfrattallone6029 yikes, thanks for clarifying it. I have the book, though I haven't completed it. Btw, if that is the case, then we'll get it as well, not like his, but hey, we're handling smartphones constantly. Rip in piece
Now I'm 47 years old, since I'm a child and started playing guitar this band inspired me all over the years. Don't stop this music in the next centuries. Up the Irons. Love it!
Oh same here! I love the album more than Powerslave and TNoTB. :3 I just love Journeyman, Montsegur and Dance of Death too much to favour another album!
I had a total "book by its cover" moment with this album. Ignored it cause of its actually horendous cover art, and then gave it a shot one lazy sunday, and it soared to my 4th favorite Maiden album, absolute magic, this album.
I'll never forget the times this video was on ZTV all the time here in Norway. This was when my fandom of Iron Maiden started. This song was so awesome that I turned it up every time it was on, I downloaded the song and listened to it god knows how many times in a row. UP THE IRONS!!!
When I was wandering in the desert And was searching for the truth I heard a choir of angels calling out my name I had the feeling that my life would never be the same again I turned my face towards the barren sun And I know of the pain that you feel the same as me And I dream of the rain as it falls upon the leaves And the cracks in our lives like the cracks upon the ground They are sealed and are now washed away You tell me we can start the rain You tell me that we all can change You tell me we can find something to wash the tears away You tell me we can start the rain You tell me that we all can change You tell me we can find something to wash the tears... And I know of the pain that you feel the same as me And I dream of the rain as it falls upon the leaves And the cracks in the ground like the cracks are in our lives They are sealed and now far away You tell me we can start the rain You tell me that we all can change You tell me we can find something to wash the tears away You tell me we can start the rain You tell me that we all can change You tell me we can find something to wash the tears... [Solo] You tell me we can start the rain You tell me that we all can change You tell me we can find something to wash the tears away You tell me we can start the rain You tell me that we all can change You tell me we can find something to wash the tears... And I know of the pain that you feel the same as me And I dream of the rain as it falls upon the leaves And the cracks in the ground like the cracks are in our lives They are sealed and now far away
The greater song that the band wrote in the decade of 2000. Fantastic solo , marvellous melody , changes all over the song , vocals that getting up and down every 10 seconds. POWERFUL
Woww, i listened to this song when I was like 12( 27 now) a couple of years later I saw Maiden live for the first time and my life was never the same. UP THE IRONS!!!
Basically this song makes me knew IRON MAIDEN for a first time, Is my fav song along Wasting Love and Sign Of The cross from Iron maiden. Simply JEWELS
Both new or old, Maiden songs are fantastic! And I think if you're a fan of this band, you would like both old or new... They all share that emotion, that creativity, the essence that made Maiden one of the inmortal bands!
Iron Maiden should never forget wishbone ash. They was the first band to play the twin guitar solos. The twin guitars solo give Iron Maiden that sound, wish for 36 years the Iron Maiden sound they never tried to add dub step over it like Korn. Of course Wishbone Ash are soft rock. But the twin guitar solo have change the sound heavy rock music.
Every time I try to make a comment to say that a certain iron maiden song is my favourite many other songs pop into my mind and I feel the need to delete my comment. Choosing my favourite iron maiden song is impossible because I would then have to leave out another 50+ songs which I consider amazing as well.
almost 21 years since this song was released, I still remember it when I first heard it, and the whole album, I just began high school, moved to a different city, it was a big change, tough one, Iron Maiden helped me survive for that I will always be thankful! By the way it's on of my favorite song by them!
Why are you guys saying that they sold out ? If this song came out in the 80's, you would call it a classic. Sure, it's a catchy song but I'm definitely convinced that Iron Maiden are not a band that writes radio-friendly songs, they never were, they never will be. They're true and that's why we love them. They felt that the structure of this song should be this way, they did it this way. Period.
I don't know even a single person who hasn't liked at least one of Maiden song's...thats cause Iron Maiden's awsomeness can touch even the most rooten ears and hearts...Up The IRONS \m/
The years just never seem to take their toll on Maiden. God, after listening to Maiden pretty much all my life, they still dumbfound me with their epicness!
Iron Maiden is simply AMAZING! This guys are between 53 and 59 years old and still rocking! I love every fucking album they have, but if I have to say which one is the best I would say "A matter of life and death". They get really better with time, more complex armonies. I am looking forward for a live concert!
