Pretty interesting to know that the reason Eli stopped his magnificent flows was because he was being told to not use cuss words. Had they not cut him off he would have put on one of the greatest freestyles of all time.
I remember when this first came out. Me and the boys joked so hard on Eli but after 14 years I can see that Eli was on a whole other level. Straight fire. Still funny af though 🤣. I hope he’s doing alright these days. Brings back good memories.

All these years later and I still feel like this is the perfect RU-vid video. It has something funny happening almost every second, from the video effects like the heart and the hilarious gradient at the beginning, then Marv-Os awkward intro where he says hes not going to explain the rules and then instantly explains the rules, to marvo Huggin on his bro. Literally everything Eli does is incredibly hilarious. To the outro with great lines like "That HAD to be better than last time!" To "They both did good but imma go with Envy cause he did great." Sketch shows like SNL and even Tim and Eric will NEVER come close to topping this. Its a masterpiece. Imagine how many more masterpieces are hiding in the vaults of highschools?

Not always. Sometimes people are sporadic. I have it. Ideas just flow at times. This is why some emcees can freestyle and others focus on their pen. It's similar for all forms of art that allows free flow. Being quick witted with a large vocabulary seems to be the foundation but there are more elements involved. It's also why freestyles tend to vary from hard lines from nowhere to basic nonsense that doesn't fit. Eyedea was a beast with this. Possibly my favourite legit freestyles I've heard.

This is one of those rare videos that is just perfect in terms of its comedic elements. 15 years on and I keep coming back every time I think of this. On the real though, I think Eli honestly killed it considering his obvious disability. He should have won but the judges were probably insulted by his gay remarks.
