The goal of dethatching is to get rid of excess dead grass material and debris left behind when you mow your lawn. Dethatching is done in spring so when you water and use fertilizers they will be more effective when your lawn is watered plus the benefit is that you use less water. 🤓😉

Love the machines that have multiple attachments. I got my Greenworks a few year ago when they only came with one. Your lawn has great color and is really thick.

I remember I almost bought that green works, but saw the new kind just like it with two attachments. I should have pulled the trigger back then when it cost just 80 bucks at one point. Thanks! You may have noticed but my narration with the pups was a few days ago, other portions was filmed a few months ago. 🌝

@@kove I bought a differently branded version of this that only came with the dethatcher. Wish I knew where to order the scarifier part.

How easy it switches out cartridges might beat out the other ones. I'd love to compare them all at once. Thanks, now I need to find to my summer grassing skills! 🤤

I have one of these. It overheated, burning out the thermal switch. I've replaced the switch but the motor still appears to get smoking hot. It will run for about 25 seconds before the thermal switch shuts it off. It worked fine the first season, died the second.

@@kove Yes, 1 daughter that will be a Senior next year, and another daughter that will be a Freshman next year.

No kidding! Probably is or has been her student or on her team. (Tennis, XC, BBall) We live on Pattonville district, but the boys will likely go to Howell starting at middle school.

@@kove My oldest is a Swimmer at FH, no other sports. We have spent a lot of time at Pattonville High School for her Club swim team practices/meets. She also looked up your wife and has not had any classes with her. Bummer! Who knows, maybe my youngest will.

Dang, would have been cool! Yep, hope she does next year! I can objectively say one of the most dedicated and passionate ones out there. Howell Girls tennis is a great program if your youngest wants to try it out.

It was a great little piece of machinery. Although if I had to guess I would price it at $95. 2 years ago all these machines were hovering around that point or lower.

Lol, I was reviewing after publishing and forgot to adjust the volume levels. At least it gives a realistic picture of how loud it is 🤣.

I've never tried it but I'd guess it would easily take up all the moss. But if you have moss, there's a deeper problem that I am not sure how to solve.

The instructions specifically say not to go over moss. If you breathe it in it colonizes in the lungs.

I've read it's good to do this type of thing. The slight damaged area supposedly pays off in the long run.

His lawn looks perfectly manicured and scarified! Clip could have been more credible if machine was used on a lawn that was really really "jacked up"!
