I love how you can tell he's genuinely concerned, but doesn't wanna push the issue while they're on stream. So he nonchalantly asks if she's okay and changes the subject to cheer her up. He's a good friend.
She has an autoimmune disease that makes colds much more dangerous since her body doesn't make enough antibodies or they might attack her own body. It can vary but some form of an immune disease.
@@cheyennemoore8380 I believe she’s said that she just doesn’t have any antibodies, period. Her body doesn’t make them or something to that effect. It’s a pity, but time and time again she proves how strong she is too so… yeah. She’s one tough cookie that’s for sure. (Note I could be wrong, I want to believe I remember her saying that she just doesn’t have antibodies, more specifically in a stream where she reacted to a Kurzgesagt video. That could be wrong though so take what I love said with a grain of salt)
She has zero immune system. She is only alive because she can get regular plasma transfusions from healthy people, so she gets some second-hand benefits from their immune systems. It's not the same as making your own antibodies to fight illness, but it's kept her alive so far -sometimes just barely. She also takes some really intense medications that are "better than dying" but you wouldn't want to take them if you didn't absolutely have to. She's been bedridden for many years and can barely eat solid food. She has to be super careful (and isolated from people) to avoid getting sick. There is no cure and she is constantly at a very high risk of worse disability or even death from infections that most of us wouldn't have any issue fighting off.
