great question?! I believe technically a "corn whisky" can't be aged in new barrels?

The old standby “Mellow Corn” is aged in a used barrels and is BIB as well. I’m not saying it’s special but I always have a bottle around. It’s very enjoyable every now and then. I also think it’s good to have some white dog around too. You can get to know those young whiskey notes and recognize them in some bottles that may be a touch young.
