▶ About Dr Shehzad Saleem:
Dr Shehzad Saleem has been under the tutelage of Javed Ahmad Ghamidi since 1988 and is currently a Research Fellow of Al-Mawrid (www.al-mawrid.org). He has a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering from UET Lahore, Pakistan and holds a PhD in the History of the Quran from the University of Wales, UK. He has authored books on Islam, Quran, Hadith and Character Building. He has also translated some works of famous Islamic scholars and exegetes Amin Ahsan Islahi and Javed Ahmad Ghamidi into English.

There is something that Muslims need to understand about Islam and Quran that when any NABI pbuh is present among the people there is very strict law and all the ayaat reveal to guide Him pbuh to Particular circumstances and hence they can never be taken out of context , same goes for ahadeeth . But the irony of the followers of islam is that due to the lack of knowledge and over powering of their emotions they cannot foresee the truth . Islam needs knowledge not emotions to be understood ..

Firstly, I could not get the end result, whether there is any punishment or not. Secondly, I know of an incident in Egypt where a person was killed, but that man had switched from Islam to Christianity and then back to Islam about three times. That man would be given the opportunity to astaghfar, which he would say astaghfar and revert back to Islam. After repeating if thrice he was finally put to death. واللہ عالم There are further details to the judgement and the conduct of the individual as well which I could not right due to effort required. However if the details could be sought about the judgement that would explain the circumstances for awarding death panelty. Thanks.
