Love this series you created! Here's how I viewed it: Black Goliath - #1 OMAC - #1 Sandman #1 Secrets/Haunted House - #2 SSoSV - #1 The Shadow - #1 Tough choices but they're all great reads! I tried to watch this with the sound off on the first run so I couldn't hear your choices and the then watched it the second time to see how we matched up. This is so much fun to do! I think I agree with your choices with maybe the Secret Society of Super-Villains being the hardest decision. Mostly though I liked both covers so hard to pick a favourite really. I had most of those I think but not the Sandman ones and now I have Sandman envy!! haha
Sandman was a good series, too, Grey. For me personally, the Secret Society of Super Villains was my easiest choice. I just love the colors on that first issue.
Hey Erik. Great series and covers all the way through.. I might get a little long winded with this so bear with me lol Black Goliath- Issue #1 hands down Omac- this is a tough one.. issue #2 holds a special place because it’s the first one I got as a kid, and it ties in to the 1991 4 issue prestige series that John Byrne did ( in my top 5 of favorite comic stories) but issue #1 has the edge cover-wise Sandman- issue #1 Pretty easy there ( Love that series! 😊) Secrets of Haunted House- issue #1 SSOSV- Another tough one .. I love the Ernie Chan cover and purple background, but #2 has my vote for several reasons.. It was the first issue I got as a kid, part of the Bi-Centennial run, It reintroduced one of my favorites, Captain Comet, and I just love Dick Giordano. Shadow- Another toughy.. although #2 is my favorite story of the run, I’ll give a slight edge to #1 because it’s so iconic and because I first saw it in a house ad lol Oh my but these are FUN! Hey Shannon! Love reading your comments. You do know that most of these titles I showed are because you got me into collecting them after watching your videos...lol. SSOSV for sure. Plus, you gifted me the entire OMAC run, which I really really enjoyed. The Shadow as well. Issue #1 of The Shadow is a great cover, and on a different day, it might be my first choice. Black Goliath #1 is my pick (and I'm a big fan of his. Ocac #2 is my Favorite of those 2 SANDMAN #1 Is my favorite of those 2 Secrets of haunted house I go with #1 (and like you I didn't do alot of horror as a kid.) Secret society of Super-villains #2 Mostly the Action and the Beautiful Bicentennial on the top. (One of my side projects is to collect all the Bicentennial books.) The Shadow #1 is my favorite just love the Shadow. Fantastic stuff sir love the series.
Thank you for the kind words. I do like SSOSV #2, and I love the DC Comics Salutes the Bicentennial, but something about that purple cover on issue #1 really draws me in. How many more issues do you need of the Bicentennial run?

You have to go with issue 1 on OMAC, just what is going on on that cover, OMAC's just throwing a woman who's having a bath for no reason but he's thrown her that hard the force has messed her body up? Of course you read that issue and that's not what's going on but still. You could argue as well that apart from The Shadow all the issue 2 covers her are more action orientated than the issue 1's.
