I'm using a 2018 Mac Mini 3.2 GHz 6-Core Intel Core i7 with 32 GB RAM and 1TB SSD for all my daily work. I needed the Intel chip for running VMware Horizon Client for running Windows VMs. No complaints and still going strong. Thanks for the video.

I have the 2018 i7 mini with 32 gigs of ram and it's OK until you want to use a 4K display, which inevitably means you have to enable scaling just to see things clearly in the interface. At the point it becomes dog slow with all kinds of spinning ball and the rest. It's a struggle to even have RU-vid playing in the background while editing an image file. The graphics on this computer was always the weak spot and it doesn't take much to push it over the edge.
yes it is.... I have a 64GB ram mini with with Blackmagic eGpus x 4 for resolve and it runs like a Swiss watch! (yeah I know its 2 x shared 40 Gb busses)
Maybe problem with the memeory? Did you try 1 stick or other stick? Maybe faulty ssd? try to install the system on external ssd.If the heatsink is not connected properly then your fan should start spinning very quickly at full speed. If not then the overheating is not the problem.
Thanks for advice. I have already diagnosed that it was actually problem with Ram, but I cannot figure out how to get back this mini to work: to make long story short - I put this broken memory to another Mac mini and it did the same glitch, I am thinking it caused the bridge os to corrupt, currently don’t know how to fix that…
@@IhorPushkar That is possible but heat sinks have to be set properly and because that one is damaged it will not fit correctly, trying to boot the computer without a heat sink attached would have the same result and it could overheat the processor.
@@IhorPushkarThanks for the information, I'm more familiar with PCs., than Macs and hopefully you will be able to fix that MM., but parts computers are also useful.
