IS-3 ALL the damage we could get! | World of Tanks 

The first tank of higher tiers i fell in love with. This vehicle pushed me to pursue the IS-7 and later on T-44 up into Obj. 430u. The IS-3 is an incredible assault style tank from the tech tree, easily going on par with many premiums these days. Great place for a beginner to start learning the heavy tank role along with the T-29 american tier 7 heavy, nothing but pure love for this vehicle, truly a beast.

This was my first "proper" tank in the game. Fond memories of city fights in the old Windstorm map.

When WG power creeps the IS3 to where it is no longer relevant is when I quit! Crazy to think this tank was deployed at the end of WWII. I think it is one of the coolest looking tanks in the game, it looks so “modern”. Thanks Baboon!

IS-3 is an anomaly. It has angled armor, but has the turret weakspot and the front plate is not that thick. It has a respectable dpm for a heavy but nothing like the Caern. It has good mobility but only for a heavy. And it has terrible viewrange and gundepression. But it just works. And to be honest it never felt too opressive. Yes back in the day it was the goto tank for tier 8 CW or advance or whatever but even tier 6s had a slight chance to fight it (unlike the Defi for example). And the tank still feels relevant today. Just like the T-44. I don't know how though.

Actually im playing IS 3 again after 8 years of retirement from WOT and it feels still so good to me. For me, one of the most beautiful vehicles in the game.

I remeber then the IS-3 was a badass and it block alot of damage... now its so so... one of my favorite tanks ... but T-10 is my fav

IS-3 was my first tier 8 tech tree tank, and was my favorite tier 8 tank for a long, long time. Even when it needed the wet ammo rack because it'd get racked all the time. Now armor is useless so it's not worth playing it when there are much better tier 8 tanks. As far as critical hit missions go: reroll them. Since the HE nerf it's very, very, very hard to get 7 crits in a battle.

you asked to tell you Mr. Skill: Yes, IS-3 is still ok today .. at least when i meet it in battle last time in my Carro P88 (still stock!) i could defeat IS-3. he got me 3 times, i got him 4 times all in the lower frontplate - and best of it, i had a friend to give him 2 in the side while his friend shot my friend. in the end we got them.

All i know is that shortly after i started to play this game the british tanks went in to the game and i wanted a british medium tank. Is3 is literaly the tank that made me quit playing the comet. If anyone wonders why that hapened all you have to do is play the comet without gold rounds and constantly play against teams with 3 or 4 is3 and you will know. There is no spot on the front of the is3 that comet can pen with regular ammo from any angle. Only by shooting the roof or getting behind it. Good luck with that while there is 3 of them. Also they are more than fast enough to catch you.

The IS-3 is still one of my favorite vehicles of all time and still sits in my garage even after grinding it to completion. Its also my one and only tank I have a Kolobanovs medal in thanks to its troll spaced armor saving my ass in that game imo is better pound for pound than the defender.

With all honesty its really easy to kill is-3, you can shoot it right into upper plate, or lower plate, or its weak head plate on turret wich is only 30mm thick :/

Hi Skill! Do u can roll out with E75TS + field mods? Today i tested this tank.. I think its good without field mods too. Still my top dmg 3k+ but without gold ammos :p + im td player 🙈

Weird. Lot of comments here say the tank is decent, even you said it is accurate. I hated it for some reason. Grinded it out as much as I had to, quickly as possible, then sold it and never looked back. You guys either know something about this tank that I don't, or just it likes ya'll more.

Played it for the first time a year ago (for 277) im i think it's trash. Fast but need a year to make a turn Poor armor Troll gun, not reliable Only "ok" alpha in actual meta. Relic from the past

When i play with my KV 4 IS 3 is nothing i just pen him all ap and IS 3 can shot gold and never pen😂

It's a shame WOT is moving from being a game based on actual tanks to one with clown cars and pretend autoloaders, none of which are based on real vehicles. "Existed only in blueprints." Yeah imaginary blueprints in WG's head only.

For me, IS3 is one of the worst if not the worst tier 8 ht in the game. It has nothing to offer in the battle: armor is horrable. Cannot sidescrape because of the pike nose; cannot play hull down because of the bad gun depression and very weak top of the turet. Tier X favorite target are you in the IS3. If you turn it straight to the enemy- they will pen you all day and night. Gun is derpy, missing obvious hits and aim time will gonna make you get hitted few times even with aiming unit- horror mobilty : snail Current meta eat this tank alive. Use fragments to skip it if you want to enjoy in t10 or 257. Highly skilled players like Skill4ltu will make it work maybe, but for me - this tank is very nasty piece of junk nowdays and that is the shame as I loved to play with it back in the day before several nerfs

I really hate this tank, no speed, no good gun, no depressoon, no armor if u meet people who knows your weakspot on the turret, literally no dpm, people will push you if they see u spotted, because u have literally nothing special, and not even a loader, this tank is the worst heavy tank I've ever tried

Most of the time this game only destroys my mood. Haven't played it in a long time. Uninstalling it was the best decision so far .But enjoy watching Skill and Claus.

Provided that Wargaming does not reduce your rng, throw 10 bots into the team, suddenly your gun stops firing accurately (despite the "sniper" badge) then yes ... you can even lose, but if you have a crew with 4-5 perks and a tank behaves as if the crew is 50% trained, the only thing left is not to play. Alternatively, you must be a CC who records WoT (it must be shown in the videos that the tank is absolutely unique for people to enter the game and try it themselves)

Idk Never liked this tank. Because of that atrociously bad front armor and inability to sidescrape. For me VK, KV4, Lowe, Tiger 2 are superior tanks.
