Was thinking the exact same thing. Also, seems like often the guys being interviewed look at the car and not the interviewer which is a little awkward. This dude seems genuinely willing to engage and talk.
It will, have you tried? I'm guessing your rc car either (isn't 1hp or isn't 1LB) Remember, HP depends on how much weight it needs to support. 1HP powering 1LB is universal. 2000hp/2000lb = 1HP per 1LB 100hp/100lb = 1HP per 1LB It's the same, due to the amount of weight each HP has to push.
I get good vibes from meg. He’s got a bad consistent hot rod. The way he conducts himself in the interview is relatable to me and I like that. Good work meg. Putting some foot to rear.
He raced on a track that even prepped was worse then most no prep surfaces so he and his crew know how to make it work. The car is crazy loud in person.
“Thank you very much for your time.” Says a lot about his character to stop what he’s doing, interview in all that madness, and thank him for the interview. What a great guy!
Just watched “The MEG” came home saw this link, clicked it and neither disappointed. Hands down my favorite no prep racer, and his car is legendary. Hats off to you mane 🤙🏼
Agreed. The driver treats people with dignity. 1320 video goes from strength to strength, his content gets better and it's been rewarding to watch the 1320 team rise up to what I believe is one of the best drag / street racing channels on RU-vid.
Car is fast and consistent. Rarely see them smoke the tires or break. Brent is one of the coolest and most humble guys out there. And for the promod criers, its a original numbers car
Because thats been what all the talk has been about the last few years, the hemi engines not the chassis being real VIN # cars. Way to be attentive on the subject thats been in every comment section on no prep races for years now.
Thank You 1320 for this vid. Brent Austin is one of the most humble and respectable drivers doing it. Not to mention he has one of the baddest cars on the planet. The races were awsome and the vid was straightforward. Again Great Job!
It's great to have a local guy out there on such a big stage . Brent your a class act and one help of a driver . Thank you from all the overheads in the 540
Thank you for the video. Megladon has been one of my favorites for some time now, based solely on watching him racing. I tend to gravitate to the competitors that don't talk a lot, and just let the car speak for itself. And that's this guy. Bigger fan now.
“This is anyone’s race” “don’t take anyone lightly”. That man has the right mindset, with an attitude like that (and that bad ass car) he’ll go very far.
This is the video that convinced me to subscribe! Thanks, all the videos are very entertaining, the way this team stuck this car to the track was so cool to watch. Bravo 1320 and all participants!
I know the owner hes built some sick rides hes well know in his town. Brent Austin is builder and driver needs to be in the 405 trust me he will make that car faster.
You know that car is gonna go places if the test drive looks like a mint asf pass. No spin, no wiggling or anything as it goes down the first section. Mint as heck! Well deserved winner
I'm a Die Hard Ford Guy, but that Camaro with that Hemi based Engine is Bad Ass. And Brent is one Hell of a Nice Guy, always Very Humble and Never Talks Shit about anyone.
That red '62 Imp is in my opinion one of if not THE coolest hotrod in these Outlaw races. It's for certain among the quickest and one of these days he (the owner) may take a race WIN cash and trophy home for his efforts. In the mean time we rocking chair racers absolutely salute these guys and gals who pour all their hard earned cash, hours upon countless hours into their cars for a chance to compete on the level these folks do. God knows we who WATCH from the comfort of our chairs wish we had their determination and guts to throw caution to the wind and make automotive accelleration their passion.
I have always loved this car, and I have watched this car run at our local track for years before running with the big boys! The Meg has always been a beautiful loud and nasty ride, but sje has came a long damn way! These are a great group of guys and they definitely deserve these big pay outs!
Brent is a very humble guy he's from my town I've met and seen many of the cars hes built over time we use to ride alongs at test n tunes at the track hes just a one of a kind he builds his car from the ground up he tunes his car he does everything but the obvious machine motor work him self tune, chassis tune and adjustments his brother Steve is cool as hell and has a beautiful white foxbody procharged I want and his crew are all good people owns a few Vape shops in town here to
That Megalodon is one of the most badass dragsters i've ever seen, and on top of that it looked like despite having so much power, it looked so stable on the drag strip and it didnt blow even after doing so many runs!!
1:34 No blanket, no scatter shield ? 2:46 That Impala is tight. 7:59 Good man, don't "push" your hardware for unwarranted reasons. Live to race another day. 8:46 ZOOMIES ! 9:41 Intense. 10:01 What's the deal with the red brick on the right lane ? LOL. Coverage on it coming ? Humble indeed, I want to see more coverage of him and the Mega.
Ryan Martin wanted that W. Redemption for him id say. Brent Austin is a unreal driver and megalodon is top 3 fastest big tire cars out there. That car goes rounds! gret vid 1320
@1320Video quick question when you make 3,000 hp do you have to give up the original body of the car and replace it with a shell like the one in this video ? Thanks
If he ever gets a budget to compete a lot more he would deadly. Please people let’s get him some sponsors. Super nice and great guy. Never he him talking shit or downing anyone. Just a great guy
Might be a dumb question but isn't the stang at 3:09 a small tire car? Also just to be clear this was 1/8mile runs because win lights are showing up before 1320 and shoots are being deployed early.
