Greetings from Dublin. Mine arrived yesterday (one week from Germany to Ireland - that's very good). Quick overview - it sometimes sounds a tad flat and/or tinny BUT I tried it through my 15W (practice) bass combo at home and it's awesome (remember a $80 instrument will never sound like a $800 instrument). I'm happy with it - a keeper. Happy strummin'.

I have the same guitar, just give it to a luthier to set it up and it's completely playable and very comfy, it makes for the low price so being perfect out of the box was not in the equation for me, I already expected that when buying it

I put good strings on mine and I use it with an acoustic amp and it does a good job. I would say it has to be amplified to be fun. For me the action is okay since I am not practising sophisticated solos on this one.Of course it is not a high end guitar,but for picking in front of the tv or to take it to vacation it is okay. Btw there are some examples here on RU-vid where people get nice music out of it 😊

For a rythm guitar 5mm is pretty okay I would say. I would consider this to solo at all , so ... Yeah, good action

I was going to buy that guitar, but I'll have to think about it for a while. Anyways, if it's a travel guitar, I don't expect to travel with an expensive one that can get damaged hahaha

You want to bring back this because if the settup of the strings? I was thought a key is inside the box for set it by ourselves. I ask it because i have never found a better traveller guitar for the moment and i'm very interested. It's above 6mm on my accoustic guitars, and i payed a lot more for them. My lespaul is about 3 but it's an electric.

There was no way I could fix this. The neck had a back bow, and if I would give the neck more relief by adjusting the truss rod, the action would get even higher.

I think it's a fun little guitar. But in the end it was just too cheap. I do have another really nice full sized acoustic guitar. But I never play it because the body is SO big.

Yes, but the neck was already back bowed. So there was no way to lower the action.

I honestly don't have much of an issue with the action, but then again I'm a fucking punk rock kid so this was perfect to jam around the flophouse with.
