Hi Alyssa! I've completed 90% of BSPH online. I'm also a career-long pharmacy technician (14+ years; clinical setting). I am very interested in applying to LECOM for this program, but...I am wondering how this would work out with a 9-5 job. I heard you say that you had exams every Monday at 12 for one of your classes. Is there any flexibility with things like this? Also, I only 1.5 hours away from the FL campus in Bradenton so the 3 weeks during the summer wouldn't be difficult for me to attend. Your thoughts/opinions? P.S. Thanks for sharing with us!

I wanted to ask you about blocks exams. Are they spaced out? Or crammed? Some schools have two exams on one day

I have two questions? Do you guys have anything integrated? Such as cover all subjects quiz or a test? Also, can I do my rotations in summer? Are the exams spread out? Is there at least a day space between tests?

We have not had it yet, but we will have it in June when we go to campus for the summer session!

Do they use Proctor U?

We used proctorU for the PCOA, but for our normal exams we use Examity.

What made you choose this school vs the other DE school?

The biggest factor was proximity of the campus to where I live. It's much easier for me to travel to this school in the summers than it would be to go to the other school. I have heard from several students that interviewed at both schools that this one is more organized, but I did not interview at the other one so I can't vouch for that! But I also love how much the faculty cares about us, and they really work hard to make sure we are all doing okay and are on top of our work.

Which school do you go through for pharmacy? I’m looking for a distant education for Pharmacy school as I’m moving out of Cincinnati (yes away from a great Pharmacy school and I work for University of Cincinnati hospital lol) but can’t seem to find out how to go about the DE for Pharmacy. Thanks!
