To all people here disagreeing with sheikh, your personal opinion based on feelings has no value. In Islam we don’t rely on “how I want” or “how I feel”, rather, we rely on what Allah commanded. No one can make haram what Allah made halal and no one can make halal what Allah made haram, end of story. *Edit* : to clarify, this comment mainly *addresses those who disagree with Islamic stance in general* not a particular school of thought.
I suggest you to be careful with your words my dear brother: this is an opinion, an interpretation; however Allah has not made it clear in the Quran. I do not follow this opinion, rather the one of the majority of Malikis: that abortion is not allowed at any time unless the mother is in danger. Prophet Muhammad sws had a friend that had a deformity in one of his eyes and he loved him dearly. Prophet Muhammad sws prohibit killing an animal if its not for a good reason. (16:116) And do not utter falsehoods by letting your tongues declare: "This is lawful"116 and "That is unlawful," thus fabricating lies against Allah. Surely those who fabricate lies against Allah will never prosper.
so, people r arguing in comment section well sheikh is totally right a lot of kids born with abnormalities their life is beyond the pain a normal humans could understand or experience their entire life they may kept complaining their parents for giving them birth or they might end up doing suicide. or they became victim of bulling anxiety depression and lot more. and i am talking about Saviour abnormalities not the one which can be handled or taken care by parents or doctors after birth. so, it's not about feeling that they aren't loved or not wanted and as sheikh said life in fetus comes after 120 days. and if its Allah's order than my and your opinion doesn't matter
Honestly I’m really surprised by this, I’m not a Muslim I’m a Christian but i find that a lot of conservative Christian’s believe that a child is viable from the day of conception. I must say it’s a much more tolerant way of thinking about pregnancy than I thought would come from Islam.
It says in quran that without permission of allah a leaf cant fall down and you want to and a creation of allah bequase of abnormalities that allah give permission to it i cant do that
I think we should HIGHLY question the morality behind when we say we can abort babies with a diagnosed abnormality - permissible or not, that’s something to think about
OMG yesss absolutely Allah has made this child this way and not once has anyone thought hey god sent me this child this way as a test and I will love it and raise but instead all I hear is yes you can abort it like it’s a burden it’s sounds so wrong and I don’t agree with this.
@@alejandraavalos1703 Yes but look at it the other way around, kids born with anomalies have to go through really difficult life, between the meds, tge special needs, the discrimination. The will simply be cruel to the child no matter what happens. No matter how you look at it it's a problem, if you do get the abortion, you might go against God's will (even if there are no proofs going towards that statement). But if you don't get the abortion you are condemning the child to a long and painful life cause remind you, you will not always be there for them.
As a Muslim I am shocked by his statements and cannot believe this without clear evidence. Abortion for down syndrome? I am worried that he does not know what down syndrome is.
I think u need to count after your clean from your periods and the first day u intimated with your spouse after being clean.. this seems logical to me as during periods women won’t ovulate according to science but Allah knows well..
@@noorainshazia2340 It's not like that. The counting begins from the first day or monthly cycle. As the new egg is being released/created... If you conceive after 20 days of cycle, you will not count 1day, but 20days.
Well that logic doesn’t work because it can apply to anything. Why guide people and make dawah? Why save people and help people? If it’s something Allah is doing.
Definently. But thing is it varies really some are independent like my good mate that I talk with. He does have just a slight Mental Retardation but it's very mild . If the child is seen as having as Sheikh Al Hakeem said to have any sort of disability under 120 days if its not visible after 40 days it should be done under 120 days ofc. Cause let me tell you that mate that I hang out with did have brother who had also very mild retardation but later in life he got Muscle Atrophy and such so his mom was in big care and like it's very sad to see it. He passed away couple of yrs ago. May Allah give him Jannah. So yeah it's a risk but it's not Haram to do so if its within the rules.
There is no 120 days In islam as such. Rooh or soul is given to baby at 120 so it becomes Gunah Kabeera after 120. Before that is Gunah Sageera because heart beats at 6 weeks. So basically Allah has prohibited killing someone who is a living creature without any justified reaaon. There is a hadith about soul given yo baby at 120 days
I'm so anti against this.Ending a child because of its abnormality?that's messed up.Are we teaching kids that they are not wanted?totally haram and if those kids find out what their parents or parent 😊did will be upsetting.Thats going against loving a child no matter what problem it has with it.
It’s not a person until after the soul is blown into it. Before that time, it’s just a flesh. That being said I don’t think it’s allowed to terminate if there’s no reason, like for example if you just don’t feel like keeping it. But if it has an issue and there’s a possibility it may live a hard life then Allah makes it permissible.
I'm afraid 😟😳 the fetus can feel pain at 12 weeks when being aborted just watch the silent scream with Bernard nathenson who performed lot's of abortions himself please 🥺 anyone having an abortion should sit down and have a very long think 💬🤔 about it first and hopefully decide against it because abortion is always very cruel even though it's legal in most countries 😢😢😢😪😪😪😪😪😪😪😪😪 it's a conscious issue
You should see how cruel it is to have a chronically sick child living on a ventilator in a vegatitive state. I work as a paramedic, I’ve seen children end up with horrible conditions and disabilities which lead to them having legitimately no quality of life whatsoever. There’s a reason why we test for these conditions, it’s not fair to make a child suffer to make ourselves feel more comfortable with the idea of them being “alive”. Think are you bringing that child into the world for yourself? Or for selfless reasons? if it’s for yourself you’re not having a child for the right reasons.
