I'd like him to keep it going but make a hard combat cap of when he can kill bots or perhaps if he hunts a kill for x many hours, then he can resort to a bot with the added extra of pking in prime times. Please keep it going after your C Engineer challenge.
I loved the agent 126 series and am somewhat sad it’s likely dead. But I really liked it. I honestly just love watching you build accounts in all the many ways you do whether it’s gridlocked bronzeman or agent 126
Man, this was my favorite series. I didn't feel like killing the bots in the early game was an issue, I personally tought that you would do most of the early game kills doing so. I wish you make an episode getting those 13 levels killing bots and do "season 2" and comeback episode where you do the interesting things you want to do. Cheers, hope you don't can this project.
I do think the idea of agent 126 is super sick and those mid-high levels can make some amazing content. I think if you were to continue the series a good way to go about it would be a sort of "season 2" rebrand where you speed past the earlier levels, get to the 70s, and go from there with some huge comeback clips like maybe raids or something to bring attention back with a sort of new coat of paint. Doesn't require a new account, doesn't change the series, gives opportunity to bring in eyes again, you would just have to do a ton of high level content to keep up which it sounds like you are ok with doing
Yes I think if kev is disappointed with the content not being as viral as it could possibly be then your idea is definitely a great one. I just wanna say that the raw reality of building the account through low cb and KO potential is enjoyable for me at least to watch, bot killing regardless. Love this series Kevin and I hope to see more of this content, whatever you choose to do going forward.
Agree with this comment speed to the KO build and do some things like killing a challeneging boss instead of killing bots at each combat lvl or rading etc until you hit the 70+ combat mark
I liked Agent 126 but the reason me and a lot of people watch your content is really because you're an entertaining person and its fun to see you genuinely enjoying yourself while progressing through a series. When its fun for you its fun for your viewers, the "wow factor" of restrictive accounts with tedious rules is a great initial draw at a glance but things like Bronzeman were just fun front to back mainly because you were having a great time and it was infectious af. The longform progression with a hit of PKing is an awesome formula for you imo, and as long as you're having a good time with whatever account you're on and don't feel scuffed from the rules I'm here for it.
For what it's worth, I really enjoyed Agent 126. Part of the enjoyment for me was seeing navigate the early game PK scene. Like others have already said, the higher levels we know will be a different kind of PKing, almost a different game. I'd love to see the series continue as is, but however it continues, I'll watch it. Your content is always top tier, so a huge thank you for that!

Those accounts are built for pvp tho, kevin has a very limited kit/ supplies for killing them, meanwhile they can 1 hit him at any point so that's just suicide

You ABSOLUTELY killed it with the editing and although I can understand how chasing bots/looters for awhile would have been demotivating the series was still very enjoyable to watch! For me personally I couldn't care less what content you put out, as long as you are enjoying it then it's super enjoyable to watch!
Another option is to *temporarily* change the rules of the series. 1. Don't do a kill per combat level, until level when you think it'd start to be interesting to watch 2. Explain that it's to get to the interesting bit quicker 3. ??? 4. Profit Maybe make it high-risk with the bounty until you get up to the "interesting" PKing level? Personally, I've seen enough high risk HCIM and the premise of this series was a breath of fresh air. Just skip the earlygame IMO.
I really enjoyed the series as is. It shows the progression in the pking area of the game and what you have to look out for while building an account!! Keep making it how you want to but you make outstanding videos regardless and I think you were going great with 126
Hey Kevin, Here is my perspective. The early game of any account was about the anticipation of the future. No chunkman/tileman/region locked account is doing anything too special early on. Just thinking of how to effectively get the crazy items you want for each combat bracket, whilst matching the combat stats is super interesting! Make a story about the routing/your secret missions... and make it exciting! I feel you already set the framework down for this so its not like much is changing! "But I have to get the drop before X KC or I have to face the dreaded zerker" The series is far from dead, the agent just needs some different missions to complete his main goal 😊
You could create 2 different conditions either earning a pk or rare wilderness item per level. So any level that you can’t find a PK, you can supplement it with a high risk item.
Every video you put out is entertaining and I look forward to seeing you pop up on my feed. Thank you for the many years of joy and entertainment. Haven’t even played the game in the better part of 3 years but still love your videos!
I'm gonna be real with you here Framed, I watch your content because of you the person. You're an entertaining person and you could make a video of yourself talking while chopping redwood trees for half an hour and I'd still watch it. Case in point, I just watched a 15 minute video of you mining shooting stars while just talking. And I think that applies to most other people here as well - we're here to support you. When you're having fun, we're having fun. If Agent 126 isn't giving you that rush anymore, then the lack of passion will bleed through eventually and nobody wants to see you feeling miserable out of an obligation to the fans. But if you want to continue the series and have passion for what it can become - even if you're killing bots at the early levels in order to get to the good stuff later on - we'll tune in and watch the crap out of it.

You could make a community event! To bring the series back, you could ask viewers to make lvl 55ish pk accounts and we all go to a pvp world and fight for a couple of hours until you hit a level you feel you could continue the series. Maybe a Bounty too lol

I think the idea of it was beautiful. I think I feel I speak for a lot of us when I say you're probably more disappointed with the path it had to take (killing bots) opposed to us. We already understand how much time and effort goes into PK videos as it is - let alone doing something like this. From my personal opinion, I understood the bot arc was just a necessary stepping stone before the content started reaching the real juicy intention you originally had. Whether you decide to revamp the series or not - my vote would be to use this account as a Still Framed project. Keep showing us you're keeping to the original idea and publish it here as content, and I suppose integrity - eventually, you'll reach a point where it's at it's peak and potentially able to produce main channel video content orrrrr you reach out to us viewers again and we come up with something! Either way, you haven't let anyone down or failed anyone - the game just isn't the same and PvP needs love, which is evidently shown by this series. Keep your head high dude.
I enjoyed the Agent 126 series and thought you did really well explaining the issue of having to basically farm the bots in the earlier levels. I hope you do continue this series but in the end I just hope you have fun and can make something you're proud of and is enjoyable for the community to watch.
6th option, continue the rules as is, but swap out the fights to be duals against your community - dual area, winner gets the bounty - set a bracket range for the duals to keep it fair - set the rules to keep it fair. Engages the community well, everyone itching to beat the agent !
Personally I was going to tough it out with you. Yeah the first few videos were a bit lack luster but like you said you made up for it in the editing and you should be proud of that. I expected it to get good like you said around 60-70 and it would've just been progress that we actually get to see which would've been cool. Either way I like the idea of going forward with either winning pov or agent 126 in a high risk hcim. Cant wait to see which one makes it into that series(:
I've recently been binge watching content creators on OSRS the past 3 weeks. Initially, I started watching Swampletics and have moved through all of Settled's videos, Soup's videos, Jimmy's videos, and almost all of yours now. I get hooked to one creator and enjoy the crap out of it. Your videos are great, because of your commentary. My thoughts on your self reflection/asking for opinions is that you should definitely continue Agent 126. Get past the 13 levels by killing bots. Everyone knows you don't like doing that. You said it in the series multiple times. I definitely would not be disheartened watching you do that, so that you can get to what you actually want to do, which inturn makes the viewing better as you are ridiculously excited over kills! Just my $0.02, but I'm a random person on the internet. Hope you continue the series mate, it's been fun!
I didn't even know this 2nd channel existed and this popped up in my recommended. I always saw this series as "this will obviously be killing bots/looter early but eventually the easy kills while stop being necessary/available" and was really looking forward to where it went on the later levels. I understand the struggle and it sucks to not turn out the way you hoped, personally I was waiting for the eventual payoff

I feel like choosing who to kill (bot or not) is part of the fun in the series, can you play it safe and kill a bot or do you risk it to kill a person, that's the great choice. Hopefully we get to see more it was a great watch
I started watching the Agent 126 series after you uploaded the most recent video. I too really enjoyed it, and never saw you killing bots or looters as an easy way out. Regardless of what happens to Mr. Agent, I'm looking forward to your future videos!

Kevin, since finding your channel through the Settled -> J1mmy -> 9rain route i've come to love most, if not all of the different videos you put out. Bronzeman was my favorite, but at this point i'm here for your style and sense of humor, and im sure many feel the same way. I get that you want to create a special series that reaches a larger audience, but runescape is also such a nieche game in and of itself, so that's an insanely difficult thing to do, and you've already achieved such a huge audience. Understand all your points made. Really liked the episodes of 126 you put out! As a non-pker, it's interesting to me to hear how inaccessible pvp is in the mid levels, or really everything before mid to high level combat.
Ive genuinely enjoyed the series this far and have never minded you killing bots. I understand and appreciate you putting value on our time, but I think a lot of us enjoy YOU and will continue to support regardless of which direction you go.
Great video and I can’t wait to see what you have in store for the account. I do have an idea for it moving forward. Agent 126 has a rival, create an account and build it up to the combat level of agent 126. Every time you level up he levels up. Get other content creators to challenge you in a dual. Roll a wheel choosing the game mode and budget. Tank test, man hunt, 1v1, sharks and minnows, etc. They also get a budget depending on where you are in the account to make it fair since the bounty hunter isn’t an ironman. Whoever kills you first gets the bounty. It’s a rough idea but it could be a lot of fun seeing people challenge you in a fair competition for the prize. Plus everyone loves to see content creators work together. Even if it’s just a pool of 4-5 people. Good luck and hopefully you figure it out.
I think the best way to go about it is to basically restart the series by putting yourself in the lv 70-75 bracket where you said you start having KO potential. The first episode would bring the viewer up to speed on how you got to where you are, and the equipment you'll be starting out with, followed by your first pks. Whatever you decide, hope the series come back in some capacity
I enjoyed the series as a casual viewer I feel maybe doing level brackets like 3-10,11-21 be 2 kills then dropping brackets to 5 levels then 3 levels till you get to the 90-100 area. I personally don’t anticipate when creators release series videos I just enjoy what’s been put out new as I only come back every few days. Anyway I enjoy what you do and I just want you to be invested in what you are filming because I feel like that makes the best content!
You’re thoughts are accurate Kevin. I’m in the majority where I liked the videos but I haven’t even thought of it since the last video. I think the videos didn’t stick with us because I saw the title to this video and didn’t even know who Agent 126 is and you’re one of maybe 4 channels where I have notifications turned on to their main channel. I only do that for the best content and my favorite creators. I love you for the pking in the weird Wilderness spots where people don’t expect it. I also appreciate your unique series ideas and I’m looking forward a lot to the series you have going with C Engineer. I think you should drop the 1->126 series and focus elsewhere and don’t worry about that that idea flopped. You obviously have plenty of other great ideas and it’s just time to move on to those. Maybe this account will be a unique series in the future as you suggested. Almost like when Torvesta brought back his HCIM after like 3 years and made it great.
Loved this series and would still watch it if you made more episodes! Killing bots was never something that bothered me, but I’m sorry to hear that it was more of an annoying hurdle on your end instead of something fun. I’d either say continue as normal, get up to level 70 by killing bots to complete the challenge as originally set out and then that’s where the real fun will begin! OR Literally just do the briefest pause in the challenge and just level up to 70 and forego the requirement to get PKs until you finally hit 70; resume the challenge as originally planned once you get there! In any case, love the vids (and the channel as a whole) no matter what you choose!
Props to you for making this video. A lot of creators just abandon their failed series and never mention it again. It's too bad this one didn't work out.
I really loved the idea behind the agent 126 series and was honestly on board with the fact that you had to scrape by at the low levels with just bots. Honestly just thought it was part of the process, especially as a player that doesn't really PK myself. I personally would love to see the series comeback, even if it is a slog at times! However all the points you raised are completely fair, and I feel like valid reasons for changing the account's direction if that is what you feel is best. But that's the thing and you said it yourself, you have fun in your main channel videos and it quite often shows which for me brings a lot of appeal to your videos. So if you are no longer having fun and are not invested in the current direction, I think that is very good grounds to change course all in itself. It might be the corny answer, but it's important you are invested and take pride in your work as well!
I didn’t even realize you posted a follow up video in regards to Agent 126, but now I know what happened. I was actually looking forward to the next video and wondering where it was. I enjoyed the series, so whatever you decide, I’m there to watch! All that said, I think you should definitely do another Agent 126 video.
I loved this series. This series is like any other where you have to start off a bit slow but having a maxed cbl hcim with over 120 kills would be legendary.
I think there’s definitely potential for the series as-is. The challenge of making it to 126 with a pk at each combat level is huge and the first 60-70 levels should have just been glossed over. I think we all understand killing the bots/looters is part of the journey and it’s just a means to the end. But we are where we are and you’re almost at the best part. Consider making the next episode like a fast-forward where you get to 70 and end it with a solid normal pk and everyone will be excited for each episode after that

I liked the series and think you should keep it going. What if you did 1 kill per 10 combat levels till level 70 or 80 then go back to 1 kill per combat level with maybe a slight bounty increase. You wouldn’t be changing rules constantly it would be a one time change so agent 126 can get though the dead ranks. You got this Framed, I like your content man.
I think a fun twist on the idea of being an "undercover agent" could work well if you try to be more of a "bot buster" like sir pugger could assign you a mark to kill in the newest bot farm since your levels are low enough. Could add a near secret spy vibe etc
I agree with your assessment of how the series was going. I thought the editing was above what you usually put out and was, in my opinion, the highlight of the series. The progression was always gonna be a concern at low levels since, unlike 9rain's series, you couldn't really show up to the GE and find someone to fight that would've been a fair match, especially with the bounty on the line. I believe turning the account into a High Risk HCIM is probably the way to go in terms of making it more interesting, but I don't know what kind of 'progression system' you'd have to put in place as a twist. Looking forward to some more episode of the new series with C Engineer!
I think a cool end game idea could be getting x amount of kills to maintain your bond status. And if you somehow lost membership you could have to get free to play kills to regain your membership. Love your content Framed. I've watched for years and you're one of the best brother!

I personally liked the agent 126 account and idea a lot. I agree with some of the other comments. I think you could make a season 2 of sorts. Take the break time to level to the point that you feel comfortable with getting real kills (70 combat or so) and then go back and see if you can make it to 126 without dying. It's a really cool goal, and I think it would be be awesome to see even with a recap episode showing all of your progress and how you gained your stats.
My suggestion would be to drop the series and use that account as sort of like a TYC account. Make a series out of taking challenges from viewers to put the account on the line. There could still be a bounty involved, and it could be a decent series for the 2nd channel.
option 1 all day. you did NOT fail. i thought the series as is was incredible, and yes that includes the bot killing. i think we as viewers all understand that the early game can be a slog, but the payout is in the mid to late stages. I'm personally enjoying the ride where you slowly grind your low level account and get 1 pk along the way, and no it doesn't bother me that it's on bots or looters. we are smart enough to comprehend that this is only temporary and the big payout wil be when you are mid to max. like i said, i am enjoying the ride as is, and your editing makes it THAT much better. i vote to not change and to continue, you are short changing yourself, this series is great and ive been missing it. give yourself more credit, Kevin. you are far from failing when it comes to this series.
I don't really comment much, but have been watching you for years and have watched most if not all your releases. I never felt let down once or dissatisfied with Agent 126. I would be happy seeing his return, but if you choose to do something else with the account I will support that in every way!
So- I did like the series, and I didn't even think about the bot killing until you brought it up here, but like you said in the video, there was a metrics drop, and that needs to be addressed in some way. I think that the simplest way to keep the series going (assuming that you end up choosing to do so) would be to condense the levels and strategies for the levels you have trouble finding anybody into a single video, and then make it clear in that video that this is where things change, and you're dealing with other people looking for a fight. Personally, I would be a little disappointed if the series ends, but I fully understand if that's where you need to end up taking stuff. I hope you continue to get to do what you love for a living, and I wish nothing but the best, regardless of how this series shakes out!
I'm sure this was tough to make, it's never a good feeling when the concept doesn't quite pan out, especially when Agent 126 was definitely a fun idea on paper. It's nice to hear your honest thoughts on it. I enjoyed it but I agree it was sad to have next to 0 "real" fights from like level 3-50. Would it be worth just continuing on now that you're close to the "good part" of the series? I'm excited to see some interesting high risk content on the account
I really enjoyed the series as it is, but you may have liked the current premise of it more if you'd started it up when Manked's potential wildy updates get implemented. Even if they don't resurrect the wildy completely, the initial buzz over the new or reworked content would draw players from lower combat brackets. Viewers will also want to know what a high-level PVPer thinks about the changes, so there'll probably be an upswing in interest for content of this type on yt if you sit on it for a while :). Sometimes we just have great ideas that would work better later on, but get so hyped that we want to jump on them immediately. Can't blame yourself for that.

I think the idea for the series was really great. The thing that immediately jumps out at me as an option is changing it so you don't have to get the kills until you hit the 70 combat bracket. Just condense everything into one video where you get into the 70~ combat bracket then work on getting a kill every combat level when it's actually interesting.
Hey Framed I have a suggestion! What about like a kill debt? You can rack up x number of combat levels and then you have to pay them all off? This allows you to bypass bots, with the added consequence of making later PK's more difficult! Maybe you have a debt of up to 5-10 kills you can hit before you MUST pay it off. Idk man, something to consider. Big fan of the series though!
I enjoyed the series, I didn’t necessarily think the bot kills were bad, I saw it as more of a means to an end and getting to your goals in the series. It makes sense with how the pvp worlds have gotten less busy. Thank you for the update Kevin!
Torvesta would go several months in between episodes for his late Hardcore, but I would still watch each episode feeling more and more excited. I don’t think it’s too late at all! In fact, just the other day I was wondering about Agent 126. My vote is that you do a quick reboot, plow through those 13 levels, and just do whatever you have to to get those kills.
I gotta agree with you kev, that series felt like it could've been one of the coolest but I definitely was thinking about the end game on that as well. I think you should continue it until it gets to the point that you think it can pop off and then start from there! I also like the high risk HC option. But I am looking forward to the C engineer series you're running with him as well.
The series is rad and fun no matter the opponent (or opponent’s script). My honest opinion is that people tune in for you, your entertainment style, and the journey far more than the granular “how did he make it happen?” With this series in particular, I think a lot of people aren’t focused on it being bots at those early levels - you’ve called that out since the beginning and I think we all accept it. It may not be AS exciting as real people PvP battles, but we’re seeing the video thinking “Where’s the account at now? Did he die? We still don’t know what happens with each interaction, and that satisfaction is still there. You’re a damned good entertainer, my dude. That’s what we tune in for. I had a big long comment but copy/paste failed me and most of it’s gone, but the TL;DR is to do the thing you find the most fun - even though it’s cheesy. If you need to up the ante to stay engaged by all means. One new suggestion though: add a unique challenge to each cb lvl PK. “I need to kill lvl __ by doing or only wearing __,” or “after this kill, I have to do ___.” Whatever you decide, please keep the series - don’t shelf it. Don’t let this comment be longer than 126’s journey!
Agent 126 called in for a special mission because agent 126 is needed for an advanced special mission, but agent 126 needs to undergo special training in order to take on the tasks that the 'home office' wants to give to agent 126 - boom series reloaded - figure out the quests needed in order to meet that storyline.
Yo Framed, I definitely am one of those who loved the series idea. I actually have an idea if you are up for it. I constantly hop around Chaos Altar (38 wild) and sometimes near black chins (30 wild) on my main to look for fights and usually see low levels between 50-60 going for bone runners and black chin bots. It is definitely high risk and more dangerous but I think it would regain interest for others. A way to minimize danger would be to have another account with you to scout near the same level or so. This is definitely time consuming but there are 100% people your level that pk but it’s mostly deep. Hopefully you are able to move forward without modifying, if not, I’ll still be tuned in regardless.
Personally, I love the series. Sure, it's tough to power through and get to where you want the account to be and I know the hours it could possibly take. Although, I feel like the series still has life. I know it may not be putting up the numbers you want right now, but later on when you do get to the level where things get more interesting, it has so much potential. I feel like every video series has that. In the beginning, it's all hype. In the middle (when you actually have to grind and do all the boring stuff for a while), the hype dies down. At the end, the hype comes back and all the hard work pays off. Your videos never disappoint and I look forward to them when they drop. I would love to see the series continue as is. If you are worried about the numbers, maybe make 1-2 videos power leveling and getting to the point where you do think it will start to get interesting. Then, you will be more motivated to make the series and see where it takes you. Numbers are numbers, if you really enjoy playing the account and making content on the account, that's what matters. That's just my two cents. Love the videos and I will always watch them regardless :)
