Capes were used in sword duels to deflect/catch blades, but when your sword can cut through blast doors it does seem ridiculous to use such a move.

Sabine disobeys Ahsoka's wishes to keep the ball safe, but Ahsoka leaves her to her own devices to better solve the puzzle. But if the ball is so valuable, Ahsoka doesn't even stake out a perch to keep an eye on Sabine. What was Ahsoka doing all those hours? Doesn't know where she lives? They're both Force users, they can ping each other. But Ahsoka should know exactly where she lives since she went to the planet to have her look at the ball. If Sabine were a male character and screwed up so bad, the green chick general would have cussed her out and thrown her off the case like a police sergeant in a cop show. Sabine would feel really guilty and strive to make amends and get back in the game. But...she gets a haircut instead.... This is why I only rewatch Star Wars (1977). Writers have gotten so bad that they can't even pad out a season arc to make it interesting. It's like cotton candy, a lot of volume, but a lot of empty air inside.

Who yells "For the Empire!" before launching a surprise attack? Probably the same kind of cunning mind that designs a droid to explosively self-destruct, but announce that it will do so with plenty of warning time. Or stabs someone with a weapon capable of cutting them in half, but carefully withdraws the weapon rather than doing so. One rarely encounters malicious, evil adversaries with such an acute sense of fair play.

While there were some iffy moments, definitely has some cool ones too. Like when Ashoka casually dodges the double lightsaber throw.

The silence was so intense and thrilling Jonny, well played, well played, so modern :D

The cloak attack... it's a smart move. It is used as a distraction that makes the person duck and you follow that up with a head level saber sweep when the person, instinctively, comes back up.

Staring here is Legend I did not fast forward. Magnificent. Also you start exactly at 10:00 🙂 Now that I have watched you stare for 3 min, I don't have to watch Asoka stare three mins. And another spin. That's a good trick.

During the 3 minute stare experiment, i had time to take a shit, wash my hands, grab water, a snack... came back to the TV you were still making the point about the staring for 3 minutes so I checked Facebook, Tinder, e mail, then your voice snapped me out of it. All in all, this video is more entertaining then the Ahsoka series so far.

The thing about the stares... Evangelion had those. And it worked awesomely, because it was part of the vibe. In this day and age, a 30 second stare is a total killer. We want things FAST, and that much of staring without a real content (like in Evangelion) is what makes this shows so BORING. :P Also, regarding the shout before the attack, it made me think of thieves in D&D when they shout "Sneak attack!" before attacking. :D
