Theroy: What if Opera doesn't have a rank or perhaps they has something like 'Aleph' because they're not interested in ranks but rather supporting Sullivan? I feel like its possible with how Nishi likes to pull the unexpected. We all know they are capable of making Kalego shiver just from a Gaze and Sullivan himself acknowledge them. I just find it hard to believe he is on par with Sullivan's rank and most of the crowns. I also don't believe they are Chet because thats Kalego's rank?
Same, I think opera is 9 equivalent as much as Sullivan is kinda the strongest demon around, so 10 for sure. tho ranks are complicated and I assume theres a big space between power levels in the higher ranks.
@@azazelamerianime I don't think ranks itself shows one's strenth, its more for the title or 'level' so I don't believe alephs are necessarily 'weak', of course most may be but again considering other power rankings from other animes, this might not be the case
I wonder about it a lot, it would make total sense to me given that opera is super good at many many things. I wouldnt be surprised if they dominated in school things. Sone people say they are unranked tho, since they only want to support sullivan Others say they saw his rank 9 badge during the deviculum. I have no idea hahaha but I want rank 9 personally because it seems fun to have noth sully and opera rank 9.
I definitely agree. With how incredibly important ranks are in the demon world I don't think the three greats would be treated as equal if one of them was of a lower rank.
I dont think so, it was explicitly stated in the manga that the demon king is chosen from a pool of those who reach yodh or 10, not that the person who reaches 10 automatically becomes demon king. (both the manga and the anime say it actually during sabnocks explanation) If thats the case, then a pool of demons would probably be the three greats. Since teachers are rank 7-8, 13 crowns are rank 9 and 3 greats supposedly 10. I think rank is super important for sure but if its already widely known that sullivan chose not to rank up, which seems like the case, then I dont really think they would treat him differently. Its like iruma, when he was lower rank, people would tease him but he also had a certain notoriety that people assumed he had a higher power than his rank. Idk if that all made sense hahaha

As fair as I know, Sullivan didnt say that. He just said that the demon king must have the trust of every single one of the 13 crowns. Like I said in the video, its not really like that. The ranks are not powerscaling, they are more based on merit than strength.
@@azazelamerianime I think when Astaroth said in the Anime that one downside to choosing Sullivan as opposed to the other three greats is that Sullivan is not Yodh yet, this implies that the other two are already yodh and that Sullivan can already be yodh if he chooses.
I think I saw opera's rank badge during iruma's first time in a deviculum. The badge is undecipherable though. It was too blurry to read. But it has been speculated that they are either 8 or 9
Yes, I dont wanna spoil HAHA but yeah probs 8 or 9 but my head canon is 9 since they are hella stronger than both kalego or balam. Tho that effectively makes them same rank as sullivan which I guess makes sense since sullivan doesnt want to rank up.
If you’re referring to the anime, it’s because it’s getting more and more attention. At least from what I’m understanding Manga started in 2017 and the anime started in 2019
