Another point that supports Project Horizen being an RMC is that RMC are set to announce something tommorow (The 18th), and they have been teasing another smaller ride with a drive tyre lift.

I think rather than re-tracking oblivion on its 30 Yr anniversary in 2028 I think it will get ripped out with an RMC first drop utilising oblivion's pit.

There was definitely the call of a bird audible in the Project Exodus teaser video, which leans towards the theory that it will indeed be named *Horus.* Horus is an Egyptian god with the head of a falcon after all.

Oblivion has already established that AT can fit a 180ft drop in, I want to see a Steel Vengeance level RMC, you need to go the full hog, if you half arse it you aren't going to get the most lucrative market: American tourists. They are the ones who will come and stay in your on site hotels and pay for fast passes etc. As Oblivion is near end of life and he filmed that in front of oblivion, there is a chance we'll get an RMC hybrid in oblivion's place, utilising the existing massive hole. Maybe John Wardley would finally get that chance to design a proper woodie with them

FYI Merlin entertainment, AT getting an RMC would be enough to make me (and many others) buy annual passes and unlimited fast passes. I'm sure you want our money right?

What would the record be my guess: the most inversions on a single rail they are compact feature smaller but still intense and snappy layouts this means it is more likely to be a short fake rail… And smaller budget!!!

So me and my dad made a theory, maybe they filmed the project horizon outside of oblivion on purpose. Cause there was multiple hints at it, maybe they're digging underground. That could fit quite a big coaster

i think that the reason fire in the hole will cost 30 000 000 is because silver dollar city is one of the few American parks that has an enthesis on theming. the reason I think this is because RMC coasters are usually very cheap

If this isn't an RMC, it's not exactly great business if Towers/Merlin do want to work with them in the future😅

This is perfect. Heavily tease an RMC for thorpe so that absolutly no-one would think or expect one to go to towers. Then suprise us with a more "official" teaser for one coming to Alton towers. also I think it will be something bigger than a family hybrid for The UK's first RMC. And I know he said "ANY of our parks" but the fact he said "On the HORIZON" Hints towards Project Horizon.

I think with the sun flare in the video from Thorpe park and the white and gold colours, I recon it will definitely be called Icarus due the Greek Mythological colours and the sun flare hinting at the sun that melted his wings hence the Huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge drop! BOOM theming!

My take on this is that I fully believe that was a real, genuine confirmation. In the full video, John talks about the type of person that he is, a Roller Coaster Tycoon player, a theme park fan, and he's essentially an enthusiast, right. I can't believe he would do this tease if it wasn't genuine. That's playing a trick with your most passionate fans/target audience and your hero customers - your customers who will shout the most loudly about your service, and it's so important to utilise that relationship well. If it was just a joke, then it'll certainly be disappointing. So yeah, I just find it hard to believe it wasn't genuine. With that in mind, given the suspicion that this will be more of a thrilling ride than a family ride, I wonder if this could be a T-Rex. A larger capacity ride with tight enough elements that you can achieve an interesting layout in a confined space.

Hey, none of us know, but I can't see it being an RMC. Intamin was my guess too, something like Gringotts would be one hell of an addition. But could AT pull off the theming, and what would that be based on? Any kind of mine theming could work or maybe a theme from a horror maze? Skin Snatchers? Who knows but without a Secret Weapon code doesn't that point to something smaller or family orientated considering where it is?

I can rule out the Multi-Dimension coaster from Intamin. Maybe they could refurbish Th13teen and implement some more theming and the trains A RMC single rail would make much more sense than a hybrid considering spacing issues. Maybe it could be the first RMC T-Rex coaster with a launch? It’ll either be that or a S&S Axis Coaster

I have a theory: 2025: project horizon will be a intamin multi dimensional coaster but in 2028, we get SW8 and it could be a rmc but, john burton said at a park, and didnt specify what park, so it could be a rmc at thorpe park

Clearly the ride isn't intended to be that special as it isn't being labeled a secret weapon, but I'm still a bit perplexed. I am wondering what Alton could do with an indoor family RMC that would set it apart from their other family offerings like 13 and Wickerman. Wickerman even has a similar layout style with the twisting, turning, and pops of ejector air. It seems like what ever effects the ride has on the inside are going to be what really sets the experience apart. Maybe a spiritual successor to The Black Hole?

Fire In The Hole is a rebuild from the ground up new for the park Silver Dollar City's much loved and fan favorite ride Fire In The Hole which dates back to 1972. The cost of the project includes the scenery elements for the ride more so than the RMC coaster which will be the ride track and car system....and maybe even the building and the park land expansion in that area. It is going to be epic and we are ready for it. The ride story would not be anything for the Alton Towers audience since it is based on Ozark Mountain regional history from the mid 1800s. Start thinking about what story Alton Towers would be looking to tell in ride form.

I've said Intamin Multi-Dimension Coaster for Horizon since Day 1! Remember, Burton did say "coming to ANY of our parks" and an RMC fits at all 3 major Merlin parks! Hybrid for Thorpe, Single-Rail for Towers, and Family coaster for Chessington! Cool video!

Yeah black hole but it’s rmc makes sense to me. Save the cash on themeing and just have a tonne of twinkling led’s and a soundtrack in a big tin shed. In the pitch dark. Captivating in that it’s pretty, and revolutionary in that it’s first rmc in the dark and uk’s first rmc. Or it’s a big teasy joke

Rmc did make a new model of their family coaster. They call it the wild moose model and are claiming it can fit anywhere. So maybe they designed it for horizon. Probably not but its a possibility

I think we may be looking at an RMC single rail design or a B&M. that RMC track at hex is fake as hell and no way the hex building will be a tracked ride. Merlin are heavily invested in B&M coasters. Mandrill mayhem at Chessington is great and we may see something alone those line inside. The plans seem to point to an RMC single rail though,

for some reason I'm convinced its going to be a spinning coaster, maybe something like projectif mars at futuroscope.
