I live within the 30 min travel triangle between Albury, Rutherglen and Beechworth and 60 min travel to Alpine and King Valleys, the Oz centres for Italian varietals. Rutherglen durif was like mother's milk growing up. Enjoyed local wines, Beechworth Sorrenberg Gamay, a Rutherglen Warrabilla Parola Durif and a King Valley Sam Miranda Nebbiolo in the last few weeks. Just opened a Michelini Arneis from Myrtleford just down the hill from Beechworth. Easiest access is to fly into Albury.
