A good, balanced review not tainted by the fact you received it free. Too expensive for me, I couldn't justify the cost at all.

Too expensive for me! This is the 3rd or 4th review of this lamp that I have seen. I guess they are really pushing this product. Love the features, but again, real estate is a premium on my work space, so if I did buy one I would have to also buy the desk clamp. Thanks again for sharing!

On a modeling forum I read about and then purchased the "PHIVE LED Desk Lamp, Architect Clamp Task Table Lamp, 20W Super Bright Extra Wide Area Drafting Work Light, 4 Color Modes, 5 Brightness Levels". It's apparently about a quarter of the price and has been a fantastic modelling lamp. It also comes with the desk clamp so no issue with taking up precious (to me) desktop space.

oh GREAT another BenQ video. I am not sure who they think their "base" be but I am sure it isn't as large as the one the light sits on. The price tag is EXTREMELY prohibitive toward the average person, let alone modellers. And the new fact you have shown me (non replaceable bulb and a $40 dollar desk clamp) I am quite astonished they are going after the market.

My previous lamp was clocking on 100 quid, so it's not unheard of to shell out for quality lighting.

[? ] Aquarium light re-jigged for over-head use : choice of size, adjustable lumens & adj. CRT & waaaay way less costly.

It’s a cool lamp, don’t get me wrong, but got a ring light that does the same job for half the price. It seems a bit pricey but it a cool video none the less

BenQ must be joking, I purchased my led desk lamp on the net it has a choice of 3 colour modes and 10 brightness levels it's well made and it clamps to my work table, and all this for just £4.00 more than BenQ want for their additional table clamp. So BenQ £149 if you buy the cheaper one £179 for the model you tried, £25.99 for the unit I purchased. I know which one I'd rather ditch at the end of it's life.
