My wife and I were there last week and I've never seen so many people running red lights. Unfortunately, we don't have a choice of living here; since, she has been assigned to a unit at Keesler. My first search was for the location of sex offenders, and I was surprised by the number of offenders within 5 miles of every address I looked at for potential house locations. Keesler wasn't our first choice, but we will roll with it and see how things go.
Would Gulfport still be alright to move to for a young single dude? I want to move somewhere warm and affordable, and crime notwithstanding it seems to fit the bill for me. I tend to keep to myself so even in my current cold crime festered sinkhole I manage okay, but I do have my limits(Detroit, Baltimore, Atlanta, any street named after MLK...)
