This isn't the latest 2021 KTM 390 Duke but essentially nothing's new in it, except for colours and grabrail. Would you pick the BMW or be happy with the KTM as it is?
Nice review sir I think Royal Enfield 650 twins are better than this in price they are Rs 2.75 Lakh ex-showroom price and on road price Rs 3.26 lakh this is more value for money than this products
This price range is the most confusing , many bikes are their such re 650's, apache rr310 and these two bikes. Please make a comparison video of these bikes 🙏🙏🙏🙏. Love and support from pune
Seriously the best comparison done ever on my both favorite bikes.I am with my final deciaion now. Thanks. And i want a comforatble and not so fast for city rides and BMW is best for that.
The cost differences are not huge as before. Its a little more expensive. Only big win for ktm is the vastly bigger service reach. But otherwise maintainence the BMW is barely 2k more per year and that difference will come down if you factor in the better fuel economy on the bmw and the better resale value.
really good comparison. i like that you also revved both so we can hear the sound difference. something a lot of reviewers seem to ignore but we hear it all the time so.
Just forgot about style and price for a minute. Let's talk about the real things like After sale support, Service cost, Accessories price and spare parts availability and cost...??
I own the 310r and had my 1st servicing done yesterday and my experience was amazing. And all my 390 buddies are shocked after driving my bike they like it more than their Dukes or RCs, as the initial pickup acceleration is the best in that price segment. I am a proud owner of the BMW G310R. The service team and customer support is awesome
I don't like Duke 390 (nowdays) as far as G310GS is slightly different from league and calm nature bike. KTM India spoiling Duke390 legacy by making it leaner performer Duke125, Duke200, Duke250 and Duke390 all these shares same chassis and looks which makes D390 looks too common on road I already made my move by choosing Int650
Here in my area of the US, the BMW is cheaper by about $1,000 compared to the Duke with most obvious difference being TFT vs LCD. Both are very good looking and perform similarly, which makes them almost equal in every facet. Much like comparing vehicles, it really boils down to what feels right to you. I don’t think either is a bad choice. Can’t wait to ride them back to back and see which one will be the winner.
@@thedrifter8641 Lmao Vibrator? 390 is pretty damn refined, there's absolutely no vibrations, and the new 390s never overheat.. go suck on your overpriced crap which doesn't even have usd forks, led headlights and skinny af tyres with an outdated display 😂😂
I would still buy the Ktm Duke 390 over the BMW 310R only because of the after sales Service. As there are soo many showrooms and service centers all over India and I don’t think I can say the same about BMW.
@@venkeythekey2happiness if it comes to overall i think that the Duke 390 is An awesome bike with a very good Amount of power and torque... Other bikes with single cylinder like Dominar, 400 Apache 310 that has no chance with it.....👻👻😈 The best thing I like about Duke 390 is the pick up and its performance... and so on that's not Just it... there are Many other reasons though 😂💭 1. There is a lot of power that its 373cc engine provides, so it is comfortable on the road, even at higher speeds. 2. It has an upright seating position, so it’s not too stressful on the back. 3. The price is just right, because even if the 390 Adventure is launched, it would cost a bit more than this. So, at this price, you get more than most other bikes in the segment. 4. Comes loaded with equipment like ride by wire, TFT display etc... which you can’t find in bikes that almost cost 6-8 lakhs... if you don't believe all these...😜🤔💭💭 just go and experience the test drive of both the beasts you will find even more accurately and practically , what i am saying and which one suits you the most 🔥😎✨ still your personal opinion matters bro... ☮️❤️✨
bro I don't know how you claim that the Duke390 is for tall riders. I'm 6ft and i hated the rider's triangle of the duke. The legs positioned backward, the upper body that's bent forward and plus the bike looks Tiny when you sit on the bike
If I go by many many years experience over which one will blow up first then I’ll take the bmw over any KTM. If I don’t mind rebuilding lower ends that self destruct then the KTM but I’m at the point in my life where I’m tired of rebuilding grenaded engines so it’s the bmw for me.
Bhai tum kya compare kr re ho??bmw is german made got it. And u r comparing 310cc with 390 cc bike?? Does it makes sense?? Also duke is costly.. fit finish and qaulity is much better in bmw and smoothness also, speak about service intervals. Bmw service is done after 10,000 kms . And vibrations are almost nil in bmw .. ktm is very harsh at low speeds ..
They are both baked bikes priced similarly so the comparison is very much valid. Lots of people used to complain about vibes in the older BMW 310 and it's reduced but still very much present in the BS6 version
Still much more chapri rider will say DUKE 390 is king 🤣 , they didn't even know the bmw G310R performance, how smooth it is for riding , how comfortable it is for travelling , but still they will put some biased comment here
@@nischalk1336 Yeah we saw how duke 390 destroy bmw in look wise and how comfortable seat duke 390 has 😂 , next time before making any biased comment atleast go through the details properly otherwise you have to change the topic like this only 😂
Both bikes are one of the best you can find out there in my opinion. The duke 390 is for you if: You like speed and power then this bike is definitely for you You like an aggressive style and like the aggressive postion. You don't mind the hard seat You want fun around corners Then the bike is a perfect fit. This bike is not for you if: You don't need all the speed Very hard seat, so itno good for long rides Really aggressive postion so might not be for everyone Very expensive but you get few goodies compared to the G310R The G310R is for you if: Seat is super comfortable and bike feels really big compared to the duke Really good looking bike and almost matches up to the duke Good for city rides and long rides Has more than enough power and really fun around corners too. Roughly cheaper than the ktm This bikes not for you You dont like the slower speed It does not have the dukes speed pedometer Overall great bikes and i did tested both of these before.
I have no one touch start on my adv390 and the gear box feels like hell switches of in 4th and 5th gear while pressing clutch, my G310R clutch is super light and the gear box feel superior the only plus of my 390ADV is the chassis its 10times superior than the 310r and also better than my z650.. and Also service cost for Bmw and Ktm 390 are same Bmw 1year 1service cost 10k and my Ktm 3service per year also cost 10k no difference their..
Dominar has the worst looks and very less buyers for that also and it has no worth when compared to brands like BMW and KTM unless and untill it provides good looks with better road presence
@@cricbhasad9380 everyone have their opinion and I respect that but you know na that bajaj makes ktms in India and tvs and bmw are also together to make the appache rr 310 and the smaller bmw the main thing I wanna tell you is that bajaj makes ktms in India and they share the same engines also
Dhanil Vira literally upping the content game with every passing video! Definitely improved content quality compared to early 2021 and prior.... Great stuff Dhanil! Kudos to the editing team as well. Great, engaging video.
Bmw service cost is high 10,000 per service but if you don't tour with your bike paying 10,000 rs for 10000 km isn't that bad , that's 30 km / day 365 days a year
@@supnava8320 TVS Apache RR 310 uses the G 310’s motor as an inspiration. The Apache uses a 312.2cc motor, which puts out 33.53 BHP at 9700 RPM and 27.3 Nm of torque at 7700 RPM. The G 310 twins use a 313cc motor which makes 32.18 BHP at 9500 RPM and 28 Nm of torque at 7500 RPM. You need not be a pro to make out that both engines are roughly the same and there’s not much difference between the numbers. Lols.. be careful with small details buddy. i know what im talking about. They are not the same actually. But roughly, yes.
@@DarkPhychic If you care about mileage don't buy performance bikes. Plain and simple. Save money and get an electric bike. Mileage matters if you are buying a commuter bike. This is a bike for fun.
