I'm pretty sure it's because of sasaengs. He doesn't look sad in the videos during practice. He usually looks sad in the airport where most of the fans invade his privacy.

mindeeper army I do not know but, I do KNOW this....GOD has shutdown all things all over the world that we hold up as “idols” such as sports, entertainment ( hollyweird, movies, music)/ amusement, theaters, shopping, theme parks and even cathedrals, synagogues, & churches,- which most ain’t teaching/preaching nothing anyway; for many, their jobs are their “idols” and they are shutdown/locked down. We are stationed to our home to focus on GOD and family. JESUS is coming back again, sooner than we realize and it ain’t gonna be any laughing/entertaining matter. He’s been through a lot before. He said once there were people he became friends with the wrong people who saw him as V and not Taehyung. Also now the more attention bts is getting the more sasaengs and antis there are. Many hate believe it or not is directed towards Taehyung. He gets hate for every little thing he does. They do these stupid ships which would make all the members uncomfortable after certain point of time. In one episode of In The Soop, Jungkook himself stated that they all have changed over the years but Taehyung has had drastic change because of many personal factors. We should love and support him for who he is.
Seriously , they also need their own space like we do. We all love them as much as they love us . But some people just don't get the fact that how can you chase or give trouble to someone whom they love . It is not just him though as many people not just idols suffer from depression and other mental health issues due to the stressful and high competitive society in Korea. I have seen people interviewing regular citizens in Korea and many of them have said that they would like to live abroad as the life in Korea is just too stressful and competitive. There is good and bad to living anywhere, but I can see that many just cannot keep up with the stressful and competitive nature of the society. I remember my Korean friend telling me how she loved living in the US when she studied abroad but had to go back to Korea as she did not want to be away from her family. However, if her family were all in the US then she would rather stay in the US.
So many korean pop idols are committing suicide due to exhaustion,stress and depression which is quite alarming. I hope Tae will find the inner peace that he wants and even though I'm not a big fan of him...I always include him in my everyday prayers.

I miss the old taehung very much. My happiness was seeing his cute smile which automatically makes others smile too. But now he smiles rarely and that is so sad seeing it. I hope taehungs problems are solved soon and come back to his old life in which he smiled eventually and was very happy.

I don’t think that we really have to worry. Yes he is more serious than before but don’t you think it’s because he grew up ? He is a man now, not a teenager anymore. However, I don’t think that his personality really changed neither. In Bon Voyage 4 I can tell you that he wasn’t that different from the past. He still smile a lot, joke around and all this kind of stuff but I noticed that he is more like that when he is with the members and he probably try to keep a certain image on award shows or interviews. It’s true that during December he appeared to be very down and we can’t know exactly why but remember he received a lot of hate during this period but right know he seems to be okay. Maybe he is a little tired or stressed because of the promotion like all the members actually, but I don’t think it’s necessary to worry to much. Please Army, don’t say things like "he changed” or “he is not the same anymore” ‘cause I think it could really hurt his feelings. Just keep loving and support him. As fans, whatever it’s going on in Taehyung’s mind, it’s the only thing we can do and also the best thing 🥰

He was at one time almost extra on the level of J hope. He changed personalities so much that he makes him appear to not have any personalities anymore but an all the time serious looking guy. Even Suga is less serious than Tae these days. When you go to extreme changes, a lot of people are going to question what happened.

Taehyung said before that he wants to go back to the old days. Indeed. I'm an army since 2015, but everything was very exquisite back then, they have a peace of mind, no shipping, they're just in South Korea performing their songs! Since the fan base grow up, they rarely smiles or inter-acting on ther others because of shipping and also back then seeing performing them in K-stage They're genuine happy. The fan wars is not existing that time. That is why I can't blame V if why he wants to go back to the old days. They deserve the recognition that they're receiving right now, but the more they became popular the more they need to be perfect in front of the audience, and the amount of pressure that they're experiencing right now is very huge ! Just watch their 2013-2015 moments and their performances in K-stage you'll understand what I meant. So, I just want to say stay strong V! Someday you'll find your peace of mind, not now but soon.
Sockjin Me too but I was looking at some older videos about this and there was one where he looked and sounded very depressed. It reminded me of the video that JongHyun did before he passed away. I truly hope that if V is suffering from depression that he gets help before it gets serious. Depression is not child’s play.

The fame is too crazy and some of the fans are too shameless and obsessive. It’s getting out of hand and someone has to do something. I just want all of it to stop and do whatever I can to stop them. tae has not change at all, it is just that he as matured and so he is not going to be as playful as he was before but he is still playful. he is the same taetae he was before but to a lesser extent when in public because he is probaly the happy person who is always smiling when he is around the members in the house. and if u feel that he has changed, well change is sometimes a good thing, so just countinue to be happy for him and support him 💜💜

During BTS festa 2020 (or 2019,not sure anymore) JHope said that V didn't change. That is smth that worries me. Like, was he always that quiet behind cameras or is he still bubbly behind them and just giving this cold vibe when he is recorded? i don't feel like he has changed, he just matured. he's not 19 anymore and in a few months he will be twenty five, we cannot expect him to act like he did when they had just debuted. yeah i do miss the bright and bubbly taehyung that would always smile, and if there's something going on in his life i wish for him to find peace again, but he is not completely gone. in the recent vlive with jungkook we could see how he danced, giggled and played around. my point is, everyone grows up and matures, no matter how hard we try to stay a certain way a few things will change because we might feel more pressured by responsibilities or simply because we're growing up. let's just give him his space and stop bugging him about it 24/7

well i guess the incident where he told why he was upset lately in the past and it turn out someone lately in his circle of life pass away such as his grandma. One of the heartbreaking one was knowing his friend die cause of suicide. he expressed and told fan (grandma one) about it and some people (haters) say “he just crying and saying that to gain sympathy” i guess after that he really won’t expressed himself that much anymore unless within his circles of friends. he too careful with his word and expression cause haters will interpreted it in wrong way like how the incident of Jungkook case of sexually harrast nct member when it’s just normal gesture to a friend you know.

Taehyung has stared at the floor for 5 solid minutes in a crowded room. That’s pretty concerning. It’s concerning bc Tae changed so drastically in such little time. To me, if this happened slowly over time, then yeah it’ll seem normal. But that’s not the case here. The farthest I remember when it started was early January-December when he was getting sudden constant hate and death threats and rumors.
What do you mean "nothing to worry"? There is definitely something wrong. I dont know if you're a new fan or not, he used to talk all the time. He used to be so outgoing and bubbly and made friends with everyone. But now, over such a short period of time, he's changed..Whenever he's ready to reveal what's wrong that's on him. We should all worry but not keep saying we are worried online. It can really stress him out and make him even more depressed (not saying he is depressed). Taehyung will never remain the same. Nobody will. Everybody changes, even if it's a slight change, everyone changes. No matter what. He can attain peace by talking to his members, not keeping it inside. Keeping it inside makes it worse. If you talk to someone about it, it helps. Even if you break down, sit down with someone you trust and just let it all out. They'll be there for you. Don't ever think crying makes you weak. It make you stronger. He could be worried about all of us about COVID19. They are all trying to make us smile and happy, but at the end of the day, they need their rest. I honestly just wish BigHit can give them a break during this thing. Or even after this whole thing blows over. They need a break. Badly.

Yes, he has become more quieter than before, he is growing and people change throughout the years. However, is not okay to diagnose someone with a mental health issue when you’re not a professional. It is disrespectful to him and the ones who suffer it. We don’t know what goes off camera, that’s why we should embrace positivity instead of diagnosing people based on some camera time.
Even though were all in quarantine there still practicing heavily on dance routines and vocals. If it's stress and exhaustion please take at least a week or two off

Well he just became matured because he's now 24 but it's ok at least he's still making everybody laugh and I'm thankful that it didn't change until now and also he's not like that as always cause there are also moments that he is gracefull and energetic like on run bts and on their 2020 moments, maybe somethimes it's just like he also need to show that he is now matured and act as a 24 year old man.
