Right, but they’re not worshiping the burning man (or any overarching diety). They come with their own beliefs and many groups represent themselves distinctly. There is no “burning man” diety
Yeah. But the same thing might be said for the cremation of care ceremony, but it still looks suspiciously like a religious ceremony, and should they be doing it?
@@jonathankoziol6573 Agreed, please keep in mind they have the Giant Owl at the Bohemian Grove. Known as Moloch, same deity just different names in other languages.
What I see looking at this figure burning is all the untold numbers burning for eternity, and it weighs on me more and more every day. Father, help me to be more bold in sharing Jesus our Savior to those who are lost.😑🙏
Eternal burning isn’t biblical and actually comes from pagan religions, specifically Egypt. Yes, the unrighteous are destroyed by fire but after they are burned up, they’re just gone forever. The choice is between eternal life and eternal death. It isn’t in the character of God to torture anything for all eternity.
@@robertblackmon1 In Mark 9:48 Jesus is quoting Isaiah 66:24, which reads, “And they will go out and look on the dead bodies of those who rebelled against me; the worms that eat them will not die, the fire that burns them will not be quenched, and they will be loathsome to all mankind” (NIV). This frightening metaphorical scene portrays a battlefield with God’s enemies dead on the ground and being destroyed. The bodies not consumed by fire are decomposed by worms, or perhaps first by worms and then by fire. Either way, there is no reference whatsoever to any alleged soul escaping the destruction of the body and flying into hell. But what about the “worms” that never die? The metaphoric language of Isaiah 66:24 (quoted in Mark 9:48) does not imply that those worms are immortal. (Immortal worms?) The emphasis is that the worms do not leave their destructive task incomplete. In other words, they continue to devour the bodies of the wicked until these bodies are destroyed. By contrast, God’s faithful children will joyfully abide in “the new heavens and the new earth” and worship God in His very presence (Isaiah 66:22-23, , NIV). With such contrasting destinies in mind, no wonder that Jesus stated that it would be far better for someone to enter the kingdom of God without a crucial part of his or her body - without a hand, or foot, or even an eye - than to have a perfect body that will be destroyed by worms and fire (Mark 9:42-48). When Jesus uses the word He’ll, He is saying Gehenna. This was a valley near Jerusalem where dead bodies and trash were burned. When imagery like everlasting fire and undying worms are used, it’s meant to show how the destruction of the wicked is unavoidable and won’t stop until it’s finished. The soul who sins shall die. Ezekiel 18:21 Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell. Matthew 10:28 And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts. Malachi 4:3 I’m very familiar with Rev 20. What part are you referencing?
I had wanted to go to burning man to see techno artists, but once Christ found me I knew I could not be around this kind of behavior. I still love techno, but I don't know if I'll ever hear it live again, the other place I would want to listen is in Berlin, and yikes. Glory to God for all things!
I went to Burning Man in 97. I was young and unsaved so I loved it plus I was paid to be there. I was sober the entire time. I saw no occult stuff just a bunch of debauchery. I never went back.
@@KristiLEvans1 just like you maybe there was some occult stuff but back then I was a athiest so I wouldn't regard it even if I did see it. I was a lot more interested in the guy with the catapult that launched furniture.
@@kevinwilt5496 hahaha! Right? I was there for the AMAZING art installations. I’ve never seen raw creativity as I have there. Some of those old ironworkers are the world’s greatest artists.
The debauchery is the occult. We just spent the last century watching our entire civilization revert to paganism expressly through the tolerance and embrace of open debauchery.
It is not a pagan god Ritual. It is very loosely organized and many religious and ideological groups come and house there. So, to your point: “cults” come to burning man, burning man itself is not that kind of thing. It is a bonfire excuse for a bunch of groups to get together. That doesn’t change the overall point, but this is the like Molek worship of the owl you’ve heard about on Alex Jones. I can confirm that for a fact.
I feel bad for all the people that attend these rituals thinking it's just a gathering or party. Same as all the people attending most music industry satanic concerts. May God have mercy on them all 🙏
That was a nice prayer. I was a Goth. I wore a cross and all the rest. I was vaguely interested in the occult - but it scared me and i had a friend thaf gave me a copy of the satanic bible i jusf thought was indulgent nonsense. Im thankful i was able to discern even when i wasny a Christian. So there is real hope for those people and in that prayer for them. Thy will be done Lord. ❤
I was working near where this was taking place one year . I didn’t hear good things about it . A Christian should definitely not attend something like this . Jesus saves
Burning Man had in the past livestreamed and did interviews with participants. It really seems to be a pagan, s#x/dr@g-fueled event with a lot of creativity thrown in. But the desert weather is rather unpredictable and things can go sideways fast - it did last year and people were stuck in that nasty toxic mud. Babylon in the Desert would be an apt description.
Years ago, I heard about this festivity through someone I worked with. She was asking everyone at work if we had neck ties, we no longer wanted. She was going to take it to this festival. She called it burning man. After I found out what the event was all about, I very much regretted giving her a few of my ties.
Imagine they are confining a person somewhere in the statue behind the scene and burning the person along with the statue without letting the crowd know it.
Thank you for the history lesson. I knew about burning man but didn’t know all the facts you researched. I did conclude the event to be totally hedonistic so I was never attracted to its draw. Love you and your ministry Alan!!!
I have known a few upscale nonhippy professional people here in New York who go to Burning Man yearly to dance naked while on psychedelic drugs. 3vil stuff ! Great video !!
I took a screen shot of the article of the burning man and it looked as if there was a red horse behind it. This made me think of the red horse in Revelation.
This was a super brief overview. You didn't even mention the obvious, namely the fact that the same people also were putting on another festival at the same location at a different time of year called HellFest. And the price of entry was you, literally, sold your soul. They cancelled the event after people started dying there And a few people have died at BM, too. Also, the first BM was held on a beach in SF, on a military base. Moffett Field, i think. Moffett Field is now in Silicon Valley, working with the tech industry, which is where one of the primary influences for BM comes from
I lived in N NV, broken down burner vehicles are ubiquitous n garbage now litter the hiway to Gerlach. My friend worked their daily as an employee for an outside vendor, what a mess.
Leave no trace. How convenient more money to pocket probably cost 50 cents to go potty. I know nothing about the festival or ritual kind of got an occult vibe from what I had heard over the years. Now I have a little more insight about it. 👍
@@BroadwayRonMexico yes, all the god's outside of israel where considered pagan by the jews. great. so burning man is a god? i don't think it goes that deep... the people there are not worshipping satan... in reality it's more aligned with Buddhism.
Thank you informing us. I never heard of Burning Man. I have heard of Zozobra, which gets made and burned every year in Santa Fe, NM. I never go, it's not intelligent use of my time. It doesn't honor Christ, so I avoid it!
Want to know how the heathen acted in the old testament there you have it. Also rock concerts watch Metallica in Russia talk about whipping the crowd into a frenzie. Actually any metal rock concert. COME LORD JESUS
I have been to Rainbow Gatherings and techno parties in the past, sure the had sin and vice. But I would say the open right out Satan worship is something from nowadays. I know this because I play the Christmas femon called Krampus who tags along with St Nicholas.
Pretty week analysis if you ask me. You mention the temple, but didn't share any facts. You mention the 10 principles, but don't tell the viewers much. Which ones are bad? Did you talk to the Christians that go? And on an unrelated matter tell me about the good works of Christians these days and how they are taking in the unhoused. (please do).
Nooo…this isn’t a money making Occult festival. That’s why it costs up to a thousand dollars to attend, to watch a wooden man go up in flames, while you’re tripping on Mushrooms and DMT, and meeting “entities”, along with a few hot chicks, along the way.
this is what mature so called civilized adults do in this country.? At least at woodstock they were all kids but maybe not. Infantilized people in their prime are attracted to this making it a substitute for religion. I was there this commentator was not. I thought it hideous and have been shocked to my core knowing those of generation have proudly passed ethos to their children.
@@airgin3000 irrelevant to my point i would no more consider attending such a degenerate cultural event than jump off a ledge The yearly spectacle of middle aged eternal youth finding amusement as semi pagan festivals is a sign of cultural rot and burning man is hardly the only one. I am not suggesting that these bacchanals be be prevented i am commenting on the infantile level many people's aesthetic taste functions on and what it portends. as menchken said 'no one ever went broke underestimating the public's taste". It is just shocking
the burning of the man represents the satanic cross that symbolizes karma. The purpose of humanity is to be free from Karma. Satanist want for souls to stay in matter and not ascend bc theyree harvesting our energies . The ritual consists in a burning because the man theyre burning representa the human that will be in the flames until we break free from matter as a collective
The Bible is filled with proof from Genesis to Revelation. " In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made". ( John 1:1-3 ) Jesus is the Word. In Revelation 22:13 Jesus states " I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last."
