It might pay off very drastically over the course of your career. These are very hard to predict and quantify though and the benefits are not certain.
if you plan ahead, its possible to get FOUR business saver redemptions on a single flight. I am flying with my family soon in Aug. total miles used for 4 business class was 96k miles 😊 quite short flight of 3 hrs. more for the experience of flying as a family in business class

When you redeem Singapore Airlines’ KrisFlyer miles the selection of seats is definitely smaller than if you are paying cash. Some indeed require waitlisting but you can also find available seats that can be confirmed immediately. Such seats tend to be easier to find if they are further in the future.
Once in a while taking a business class is nice, especially crossing multiple time zones and taking more than 10 flights each year. Btw, you don't look comfortable while having your meal. Would like to hear about your experience with private jet flights in the future.
I also just came back from Seoul, in just economy class because I have just enough miles for 3x return tickets with my family 😅. My wife rejected SQ offer on business class upgrade at extra $1500, we can enjoy a lots of food with the money there 😅
