I was in quebec, it was hell on earth with its killing cold and so depressing. One good outcome was I started appreciating my own country india and came back to set up a prosperous business.
I was a Permanent Resident in Toronto in 1993. Left and came back within 6 months and joined back in my Air craft Engr job in national carrier. Dont regret leaving Canada because of difficulty in getting job and hostile weather. If you have a Decent job in India or gulf dont ever think of migrating to Canada
Its all your opinion based on your individual experience. There is a lot of land and wealth and very few people in Canada. That explains everything. I think India is a great country. Your heaven is what you make regardless the country you live in.
I am back to Kerala after been der for 7 years. Happy with work from home✌️, own agriculture and healthy foods, good environment, peaceful climate and so on.. I am not saying Canada is worst, its depend upon everyones taste. I love my parents and want to be with them though they hate my decision of settle down in home country😄.
I lived 3+ years in Ottawa, Ontario. Gosh, it is so cold, dark and gloomy in the winter. Walking in a heavy layer of snow, slippery ice, wind chill etc is tortuous. Summers are so good and probably as hot as Chennai. Canadians are very nice people. It is an economy based on commodities (similar to Australia) and not a services based economy like US or UK. There are many people who moved to Canada with a medical degree from their country but now driving taxi or doing other menial jobs. People tend to move to Canada after working some years in middle east too. But they generally struggle in Canada because their previous job experience will not get much weightage. Lastly, tax rates are also very high. In another 5 - 8 years, Indian economy may be of bigger size than Canada. So, will I go back again? Probably not. Not worth the difficulties. Also, it is one of the farthest places that we can go from India.
@@alpharajan അക്കരപ്പച്ച will always be a swaying factor esp for the new generation. I know couple of 20+ aged kids who went to Canada , UK etc for studying. Now, the reality is biting as they are finding that it was not as easy as the cake walk they were earlier expecting.
My advise is to consider dual residency. May be you can live in a warmer place during winter and move to Canada during summer. With remote working it should be possible. Good video and commentary
I heard salaries in Canada are less compared to other countries like Australia or USA etc. That's one problem, second problem extreme weather which leads you into depression. May or may not.
I have a comfortable job in India, should I move to Canada? My sister’s colleague is in mid 40’s and migrated to Canada, leaving a comfortable job in Delhi. He didn’t get job in his field, so he is drafting for a land surveying company that makes him around $2700 a month and studying part time to upgrade and get a job in this field which will be complete in about 4 years. He is paying $900 for a basement rent, which is much smaller than where he lived in Delhi. $500 in groceries for a family of 4. Then has phone bills, medical bills and other family expenses like clothes, books, university fees, kids university fee etc. He can’t be afford to get a car to drive to work so he is taking transit which takes about 45 mins each way. And uses transit for all other stuff like grocery shopping which gets really hard in winters. His kids like the independence and are not willing to move back. He is stuck and regrets moving here without researching and visiting here first

Now so many US companies offer Remote contract jobs with $20-25/hr to indians , There's no reason move to Canada if you're a software developer I can save more than 90% of my income. The only advantage of moving to abroad is in marriage market. Kerala society is still prefer someone doing manual jobs in western countries or a government clerk than someone doing remote contract job and earning more its status symbol and stigma towards self employed people in Kerala
swerg/narag depends on the individual/situations/state of mind/health/goals etc however can't be fully materialistic. you will not live if you live mainly to show others or to escape from all the problems that you already have. remember what happened after God Indra secured a bird to a very distant place from yama dev's evil eye .🙏
What you mean by qualification? The country needs their own standard. I work in engineering field. Only a few people have the efficiency as the the Canadians do. It is all start with our education system. We don't have much knowledge about new field as the employer want. I studied here in Canada and India. I know rhe difference. So if you take license or experience, it will be good in the long run. Actually it is a good thing. Reduces competition and increases diversity in jobs.
Only 20 years for citizenship in Switzerland unlike Canada which took me 3.5 years ! I’ve been to Switzerland and it’s much costlier than Canada. Not all foreigners get jobs there.

Canada is not the only cold country in the world. There is Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Iceland etc. People are living very happily and prosperous in these places. Actually Canadians should be more upset about it than the immigrants. However they are not. About taxes. If you compare US and Canada, it definitely will be higher in Canada. Basically the size and the tax base. Second most important factor is that US has a debt of $31 trillion. If you collect that 31 trillion, how many more percentage of taxes should rise in US? So Americans are living in a tax holiday for the time being. Some were writing about higher Australian income. Australian economy(mining &faming) totally depends on quite temperamental China. If China decide to play games with Australia, the Australians are in some trouble. Also Australian economy is not that much diversified. About foreign credentials. All education around the world are not equal. That has to be vetted properly. Especially in medicine you are putting peoples lives in danger.🤣.
