I still can't come to terms with Elizabeth's change of heart towards Lucas. It's so out of character for the Elizabeth we've known and loved for 9 seasons. It still makes no sense that she turned away from Lucas after all her declarations of love for him. It really baffles me. I know real life can be made of these kinds of scenarios, but Elizabeth's character has always been portrayed as someone who is true, honest, faithful, etc., and this is just such a deviation of that character. It will be hard, going forward, to ever trust her judgment or her actions again and that's what makes this new twist so sad and devastating for many of us devoted fans. I know in the book she ends up with a mountie and I could've been a TeamNathan fan if this had been portrayed from beginning of season 6. But now, with this change of heart and character...I just don't get it at all. 😥
I agree with you 100PERCENT if not LUCAS THEN NOBODY UNLESS JACK THORNTON WAS TO COME BACK THAT WOULD BE AWESOME AFTER ALL ELIZABETH THORNTON TOOK OFF HER WEDDING RINGS FROM JACK THORNTON FOR LUCAS ❤😊😊
