Having a revelation of who God is by His Word has made me immune to the underlying issues I have with the constant whitewashing of the faith whenever I’m in a predominantly white Christian environment. The Word of Truth must be rightly divided by all who claim to believe. That includes putting people of color where they belong in scripture, instead of pretending that we’re an afterthought or an exception in scripture. I hate to feel this way because I know God is no respect of person and neither should I be, but my self worth as a child was damaged based on their lies. Now that I’m learning the truth, I fight for truth so that young Black males and females would understand that they’re not a mistake or an afterthought and they’re significant in biblical history. Please pray for me if I’m wrong, I welcome rebuke.

What exactly do you mean by white washing? What good would it do you if they put people of color where they belong in scripture? Will that save anyone? Will that condemn anyone if they don't? I am not trying to come at you in no wrong way, but i pray that you will see how this is/will cause division in the body of Christ. Christ alone should be praised, His redeeming works. Everybody should already know that christianity did not come from the states, and that it was around well before the U.S. came about. The race thing is all meant to divide and distract. But it's really sad to see it happen within so many churches.

The word is called truth! I am the way the life and truth. That is who Yeshua is he created you as a black person first and everyone else came from black peoples. The term white peoples is fabricated so that is not such a thing as white peoples. That’s a white lie and all white pastors knows t to this, but they want to be superior to black pastors. You must understand that by law in this country. A white pastor wife when she gives birth to a white male child the child is superior to his mother. The pastors wives that is what white pastors support.

26:28 “How is Christianity specifically, good for black people?”… Errrm, the same way it is for every sinner who wants to be forgiven of their sin and freed from it to escape God wrath in eternal damnation… Are black people somehow different to other sinful people? Do I need to say no? No I don’t.

@@aborishadeayo394 Christ warn us if the world hates you remember it hated me first. There's a counterfeit Christianity that's been flowing from the ancient days...it has a counterfeit god Trinity. 1 Corinthians 8 :5-7 . 2 Corinthians 11:4. The real enemy who uses people is Lucifer, man choose to sin, not devil made him do it. Once we understand how corrupted we are ,we can repent and turn from sin I hope that helped alittle bit.
@dscampbells
@dscampbells Месяц назад
@@Makeitmakesensejo Can you show me/us from scripture how the one God is not triune/a trinity? Because scripture teaches that He is. And the scriptures you gave to prove your point are not in context with the words you spoke, nor are they in context of what the whole Bible teaches about God from Genesis 1:1 to Revelation 22:21. Other than that, and addressing the Devil as Lucifer instead of Satan (he was called Lucifer when he was good and in heaven), and leaving out the nuance that Satan does tempt man to sin against God (look at what he did to Eve in the garden and got punished by God for - Genesis 3 KJV) even though he can’t make man sin, what you said was helpful. 👍🏽🙂

Hey Brother @dscampbells I’d like you to think about something.. If three people walk into a hospital ER with the first person having a painful sprained ankle, the second with an extremely painful dislocated elbow, and the third a gunshot wound to the abdomen. They all will be seen and treated, and no one should be considered *better* than the other. But the patient suffering from the gunshot wound would be seen first by nature of his injuries. Just ponder that scenario for awhile..

@@dscampbells Again, 1 Corinthians 8:5-7, here Paul is clear, there's but one God the Father, and one Lord Jesus Christ the Son of God, who is God by his nature no 2 gods, 3 gods, Paul did not miss nothing.Jesus himself told us He and His Father are One.Proverbs 30:4, 2 Corinthians 3:17, Jn 4:24.When speaking of Jesus sending the Comforter, Who is that? When we don't know it sounds like someone else..not. Comforter and Avocate are the same one. So...who is our Avocate? Nicene Christianity/Roman Catholicism who has daughters god is the Trinity. These are they who gave you your Christmas god Tammuz who masquerades as Yeshua Hamashiach the ruach hakodesh, as well as your Easter god queen of heaven Jeremiah 44, you know Easter cake, ham, green beans. Potatoe salad...Jesus said 3 days /3nites he'd be in the earth, Catholicism gives you Fri-Sun the math ain't mathing even, using God's time sundown/ sundown. Last but not least what is the name of this 3rd person called, the holy spirit? Holy Spirit is a title, here we have a god with no name.

Spiritual Liberation, Spiritual Growth and Truth is what's needed In Black Communities. Dr Frederick KC Price In the 90s had a series on Race Religion and Racism describing how the Gospel was Perverted to Subjugate Black People. Dr James Cone a Theologian was Father of Black Liberation Theology which sought to: Unite the social Activitism of MLK JR with the Militancy of Malcolm X and unite that with Black Power-Liberation Movements. But the Black Church ( Negro Preachers ) Choose Oral Robert's "Prosperity -Gospel" focusing on how to use the Bible to get some MONEY, instead of teaching our people how to overcome the Trials & Difficulties of life. Black Christian Emotionalism is how White Preacher Jim Jones led Hundreds of Black People to give up everything and led them to their deaths in Jones town Guyana in 1977. So the real question is how effective is the black Church today I'm meeting the needs of the people

@LsvgsBaibee how? Their teaching clearly separates blacks from whites. Everything points back to black people. Nothing points to Christ really. Liberating this liberation that, the "carpenter" came to deliver the oppressed from the oppressor. I really thought Jesus came to set us free from sin. This is not the Christ of the bible. Jesus taught us to forgive those who sinned against us (even though no one on that stage was ever a slave), but they want everybody hold on to the past and stay divided.

There seems to be a middle ground where we fully acknowledge and celebrate that every single human being, regardless of their melanin levels is made in the image of God, yet don't overcorrect to the place of holding our racial categorization up as some sort of god itself (bordering on some form of self-worship), in which God is glorified and we are not. I remember watching a video by Pastor Brandon Washington (Denver) immediately after January 6th, where he called out the misuse of Christianity in worship of nation by way of Isaiah 40:15. " Surely the nations are like a drop in a bucket; they are regarded as dust on the scales; he weighs the islands as though they were fine dust. Lebanon is not sufficient for altar fires, nor its animals enough for burnt offerings. Before him all the nations are as nothing; they are regarded by him as worthless and less than nothing." It was a powerful and timely message. But what I could not help but think about was that, in a similar way that some Christians on January 6th were holding up an idol, many Christians do the same by upholding and clinging to their race as some weightiness before God. God created ethnicities and nations, and they are good in his tapestry of a kingdom, but to hold up nation or race seems a similar proclivity. Do you not know that it is but a drop in the bucket, dust on the scales? I think the same message applies here. If your nation was crushed, would God's praise still be on your lips? If your "blackness" was for some reason stripped away, and shown to be miniscule on the scales of God, would you bow before Him, singing his praises? When we are given the incredible vision of Revelation 7:9, the peoples of every nation, tribe, people and language (while making up an unbelievably beautiful masterpiece) are not looking around stunned at national, tribal, linguistic differences, they are far too preoccupied on their faces, singing with one voice, worshipping the One on the throne.

@scottwatson8659
@scottwatson8659 Месяц назад
Yes, there may be some outliers that idolize race ("blackness") but this is not the real issue. The real issue is that too many Christians have been indoctrinated in the worldview of white supremacist Christianity, in which race ("whiteness") is the invisible default setting of Christian truth. In reality, from Frederick Douglas to James Cone til now, the impetus to assert the value of "blackness" in Christianity has been in service of the truth of the Gospel, which is a corrective to the white supremacist Gospel masquerading as the Truth. This is a historical fact. They assert a color blind theology when it is no such thing. It is a form of white Christian nationalism, which America is built upon. Don't believe the hype!

Jesus Christ died for the sin of the whole world, so no matter what color you are you can only be a Christian by truly accepting Jesus Christ as your lord and Savior. This is foundational to Christian faith. This is what AA Christianity has always asserted! The problem, as the panel so aptly discussed, is that, as a whole, white American Christianity has not truly embraced this truth in deed, only in word. It's a heretical Faith filtered through white supremacy. This is what history has shown us: at every turn the Faith was used against us to oppress us, to marginalize us, to dehumanize us. In this white supremacist Christianity, for black people to asset our full humanity as black people created in the image of God is viewed as theologically suspect or racist. That's how twisted and sick this is!

When asking is Christianity good for black people? One must first, identify which god are we talking about? The beloved Christmas god Tammuz who masquerades as Yeshua Hamashiach the ruach hakodesh, a Roman god, Trinity, or... the only true and living God the Father who has an only begotten Son, the Son of God. 1 Corinthians 8:5-7 ? This question is of eternal importance because of Mt 7:20-23. Counterfeit Christianity, has a counterfeit god, the Bible calls this out as the antichrist, this doctrine doesn't dismiss Jesus, like an atheist does, it puts a false messiah in His place 2 Corinthians 11:4.

Plus the "Black Church" has failed to Spiritually Liberate the minds of Blks from their past Slavery-Jim Crow Segregation Experience. Instead Black Church Christianity ( Eurocentric interpretation of Scriptures ) has *Emasculated the Bm and caused Bw to become more Masculine* They don't teach Biblical Economic Principals, Biblical Dietary Laws nor do they teach you how to deal with and overcome Difficulties in Life. All they do is keep going over the Basics over & over (see Hebrews 6:1-3) And there's no Spiritual Growth in Church ( see Hebrews 5:11-14 ) All Blacks Churches do is: Take up to much of your time, Take up your Money and Sell you Hope in the image of Cesar Borgia as Jesus Christ. Still listening but I love being Black and I love my Black church, but I push back on a church of protest being the definitive Black church. A church’s activities, irrespective of color or ethnicity should be defined by listening to the Holy Spirit! If the Spirit says march, march; if It says sit quietly and conduct a prayer vigil about what’s going wrong; do that! Sometimes Blackness can threaten to become an idol. Our struggle has been real and should be talked about and measures taken to keep us from going backward. Our creativity and beauty can be noted, but at the end of the day, the Lord made ALL humanity beautiful in their own way and the misgivings and misbehavior of some can’t define all no matter the race, lest we be guilty of what we accuse them of. Blessings of the LORD JESUS! ✝️🙏🏽

I respect the mission of Jude 3 to provide the truth of Christ to the black community, and I genuinely appreciate some of the content y’all have put out. But sometimes I wonder if these conversations do more harm than good. There’s such blanket statements made about “white Christianity” and “black Christianity”. There’s many diverse expressions within the black church and the white church. Christ came to tear down the dividing walls of hostility between different ethnic groups and create one new humanity in him (Ephesians 2). It seems like a lot of these conversations continually try to prop up the dividing walls that Christ tore down. We should be trying to care for and serve one another as the global church made up of people from every tribe and tongue rather than showing why we are so much more superior than others (i.e the Mac and cheese metaphor).

@RyanTaylorMedia
@RyanTaylorMedia Месяц назад
@@thetruest7497 Well in scripture that statement is specifically referring to him tearing down walls between Jews and Gentiles (non jewish nations of the world). The Jews were given the Mosaic law, which was a major dividing wall between Jews and Gentiles. Jesus fulfills the Mosaic law through his life, death, and resurrection, creating a way for humans to be accepted by God not based of perfect obedience to God's law but based on union with him. Through faith you are spiritually placed in him, hence the body of Christ metaphor in the New Testament. So in scripture that statement has a specific context and is referring to a spiritual reality that has occurred through the work of Christ. However, that spiritual reality has to be realized in the world through human beings exercising faith in God and living according to the Spirit of God. The Bible continually talks about the sinfulness of human beings and the war between the flesh and the Spirit. Through our sinfulness human will continually erect dividing walls on the basis of many factors and identity markers. That doesn't change the spiritual reality of what Christ has done. He truly has created a way for humans of every stripe to be welcomed into the family of God by uniting themselves to him. But the work of the church and the christian life is one of aligning ourselves with the spiritual reality through living in the Spirit. To see the physical manifestation of the spiritual reality we have to submit to God's example and Spirit. Complex topic, but hopefully that made some sense. Doing a deep dive study in the book of Ephesians can shed some light on this topic.

Its inhabitants were called "Judaics", and they were in fact considered a remnant of the scattered tribes of Israel; in the north, the river Allala, whose real name is Efra, had become the Euphrates for scholars. Long attached to a distinct kingdom, that of the Djeji, whose capital was Savi or Xavier, it was conquered in 1725 by the Dahomeans, who called it Gléhoué or Ferme, and it has belonged to them ever since.

West Africa is where the transatlantic slave happened! When you read Isaiah 46:9-10. God lets us know he is God and none-else, and he’s declaring the end from the beginning. So there’s prophecies that came to pass historically. Egypt wasn’t the only captivity the 12 tribes of Israel went (Abraham’s seed). They went to slavery in ancient babylon, medes/persia, greek, and roman. Hint america is an extension of Rome/EU thats why in the book of daniel 7:23-27/( Revelation chapter 13,17)John also talks about the fourth kingdom falling then rising again which was Rome they fell and came back during the renaissances. Let me know if you wanna know what the 7 heads and 10 horns!!! If you read Romans 9: 1-18 it goes over what you explain according to the promise. It also lets you know that God has a chosen seed, and it wasn’t because anyone did anything wrong remember it was prophesied before they were born. God fulfilling his will. @@suronlatta1109 chat GTP says this, similar to some google searches Ethiopia's conversion to Christianity is traditionally attributed to the influence of the apostle Philip, who is said to have converted an Ethiopian eunuch mentioned in the New Testament (Acts 8:26-40). However, the historical process of Ethiopia's conversion to Christianity is more complex and involves multiple factors. One significant event in Ethiopian Christian history is the arrival of Frumentius (also known as Abune Selama), who was a Christian from Tyre in modern-day Lebanon. He and his brother were shipwrecked on the coast of present-day Eritrea or Ethiopia in the early 4th century AD. The king of Aksum, a powerful kingdom in the region, took them in. When the king died, Frumentius became an advisor to the new ruler and eventually helped spread Christianity throughout the kingdom. He was consecrated as the first Bishop of Aksum, effectively establishing Christianity as the state religion. Another key figure in Ethiopia's Christianization is King Ezana, who ruled during the early to mid-4th century AD. He is credited with officially adopting Christianity as the state religion and promoting its spread throughout his kingdom. Inscriptions attributed to King Ezana provide some of the earliest evidence of Christianity in the region. Over time, Christianity became deeply ingrained in Ethiopian society and culture, shaping its identity and influencing various aspects of life, including art, literature, and politics. Today, the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church, which traces its origins back to these early developments, remains one of the largest Christian denominations in the country.

Frumentius was shipwrecked on the Red Sea coast of Ethiopia, along with his brother Aedesius, while traveling from Tyre to India. The story goes that the Ethiopian king, impressed by their intellect and demeanor, appointed them to positions of influence in his court. Frumentius eventually gained the king's trust and used his position to promote Christianity. He is said to have converted the king, Ezana of Axum, to Christianity. Under Ezana's reign, Christianity gradually became the state religion, and it spread throughout the kingdom. Another important figure in Ethiopia's Christian history is Saint Abuna Yemata, who is believed to have further solidified Christianity's presence in the region during the 6th century. Over time, Christianity became deeply ingrained in Ethiopian culture and society, and it continues to be a dominant religion in the country to this day. The Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church, which traces its origins to the ancient Church of Alexandria, remains one of the oldest Christian churches in the world and has played a significant role in shaping Ethiopian history and identity.

A major part of the problem is exposed in this video; that the blind and ignorant individuals who never gave real thought to their choice of belief systems are leading other blind and ignorant people who have yet to throw off the psychological chains that colonized and enslaved their minds during and after the chattel slavery period! They still suffer from Post Traumatic Slave Syndrome that makes them ignore the con game being played on them. Are they a minority or the majority of the world? Three great belief systems have their roots in Ma`at so what kind of tree was it to produce that fruit? Being able to read notices about selling or buying other Africans was also a more immediate threat. The most immediate threat would be more of a concern in ANY conflict than the fear that one would read something, get an idea from what they read, and then plan to escape, which is much more complicated and convoluted. The Bible itself says the word Christian does not belong in there according to the Bible itself. As I said Jesus and God have never called anyone to become a Christian according to scripture

@@BrianShannon547 4:16). It was natural that a name first given by outsiders should soon be accepted by believers as a title in which to glory. Tradition ascribes its origin to Euodius, the first Bishop of Antioch (Bingham, Ant. II. i. ? 4), and Ignatius, his successor, uses it frequently, and forms from it the hardly less important word of Christianismos, as opposed to Judaismos (Philadelph. c. 6), and as expressing the whole system of faith and life which we know as "Christianity." It may be worth while to note that another ecclesiastical term, hardly less important in the history of Christendom, seems also to have originated at Antioch, and that we may trace to it the name of Catholic as well as Christian (Ignatius, Smyrn. c. 8). We learn from Tertullian (Apol. c. 3) that the name was often wrongly pronounced as Chrestiani, and its meaning not understood. Even the name of Christos was pronounced and explained as Chrestos (= good). The Christians, on their side, accepted the mistake as a nomen et omen, an unconscious witness on the part of the heathen that they were good and worthy in their lives, that their Lord was "good and gracious (1Peter 2:3). . . .

⛔️⛔️⛔️ BOOK: LIGHT AND TRUTH. Written & published in 1844.... Page 348. THE PROPHET NOAH. -Noah, the son of Lamech, was a prophet of the antediluvian world. A knowledge of the deluge was made known to him about 120 years before the flood. He was a just man and a faithful preacher of righteousness. He warned the people of their destruction by a flood. God commanded Noah to build the ark, or great ship, and Ham, a mighty man, helped to build the ark at God's command. The posterity of Noah who inhabited the earth after the flood, were a colored people, and their language was Hebrew. [see the Historical books of the ancients.] This language was originally given to man by his Creator, and afterwards broken into a multitude of tongues at Babel. The Hebrew, it is almost certain, was the language of Adam and Eve, and it is certain their complexion was black, or dark. Their country was called the land of Ethiopia. (Gen. ii. 13)

Thank you for this space! Bishop Rene August said of the scripture that “Scripture without context is a “con.” The same is true for the spaces where we come together to worship. We cannot just “need the church,” as if it lives inside a vacuum with no social realities from within and without… at least for Black and Brown folks. Perhaps that’s the makeup of the church for people of European descent who imbibe whiteness. However, with that flattened context, how could anyone ever know the politically Black, ethnically Brown Palestinian Jew from Nazareth that we know as Jesus? Jesus had a body, a gender, and an ethnicity. I have learned that “this here flesh” is not to be ignored in any setting - especially the House of God. Thank you again for giving voice to the issues that matter.

That's interesting, I wonder where you would have learned that because the Bible actually says this 2 Corinthians 5:16 "16 Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no longer." By the way not only do we not use the flesh/ethnicity as a lens in our Christianity, neither does the scripture allow women to be bishops. Just sayin'

11:37 This “liberative ethic of Jesus” that this man speaks of isn’t according to the world’s definition of “liberation” - all these social issues that people riotously protest about are symptoms of THE REAL ISSUE that Jesus came to liberate mankind from, which was and is SIN, which mankind does AGAINST GOD ALONE… ALL MANKIND HAVE SIN, and so ALL MANKIND HAVE THE CAPACITY TO SIN, and HAVE SINNED AGAINST GOD, and have to answer to God for their sins if they don’t REPENT of them, and BELIEVE The Gospel of Jesus Christ that sets us free from OUR OWN (PERSONAL) SINS AGAINST GOD. Once all do that, then we won’t have the social issues that we have now. Furthermore, is that we know from scripture, that not all men will repent of their sins, so there will always be social issues because of the rebellious. But what is important, is that YOU as an individual, REPENT FOR YOUR OWN SINS, that you are no longer part of the problem nor the perpetuation of it, and so that you can have the forgiveness, freedom, and favour of God upon your life here on earth, and eternal life in Heaven hereafter, instead of eternal damnation of God’s wrath upon you. 23:04 And it’s not only the words written in red in The Bible that are Christ’s words. The Apostle’s doctrine is not in red letters and they are still Christ teachings since they preach and teach Christ’s doctrine. Furthermore, just because Jesus didn’t call the religion He ordained “Christianity”, it doesn’t mean that it’s not befitting of those who believe in and follow Christ/are children of God so that we can’t call ourselves Christians. Neither did Jesus say it was called “The Way” if you look at scripture - He did say “I am the way…”, “follow me”, and “Repent and believe the gospel.” - but you can say that you are a follower of “The Way” if you want to. The word “Christian” means “Christ-like”. So by its definition, their is nothing wrong with being called that if you are a believer in and follower of Christ/a child of God through Christ, because it’s scriptural to be as He was in this world (1 John 4:17 KJV), and we are being conformed to His image (Romans 8:29 KJV), that’s we can be called Christians. I do however agree that “cultural Christianity”, where people are Christian in name only, is the type of “Christianity” you don’t wanna to be involved in, because it’s not even Christianity as it’s void of one KNOWING, and FOLLOWING CHRIST (obeying His teachings, following wherever His Spirit leads you).

For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good,or whether it be evil. This is for the New Testament Christians Revelation 22:14-15 Blessed are they that do his commandments,that they may have right to the tree of life,and may enter in through the gates into the city.
