Is Christopher Nolan an Auteur? 

Christopher Edward Nolan is an English-American film director, screenwriter, producer, cinematographer and editor. He is one of the highest-grossing directors in history, and among the most successful and acclaimed filmmakers of the 21st century. Nolan often produces films that manage to be clever and entertaining while addressing complex issues of the human condition such as the nature of reality, time, and identity.
Today, we look at the stylistic and thematic choices in a couple of his films and how that relates the auteur theory.
