I think that CJ is absolutely in the MVP conversation for this year especially if they win the division. I think that the pecking order of the WR corps is Nico, Tank, & Diggs. I really think that Diggs has taken a huge step back especially down the stretch weeks 11-18 the last 2 seasons. I wonder how much he has left in the tank and how effective he’ll be with an offense full of studs.
That’s a fair take on the receivers. Wait until we release the whole video on the Texans, I have a whole segment on the receivers. CJ isn’t my MVP bet, but he’s 100% on the table man, you’re spot on.
Texans were hurt by injuries and thin depth last season at WR...Diggs gonna mentor Metchie and Dell this year as he doesn't need to carry the load and will be part of an elite trio. Both of those young wr's need a strong proven Vet like Diggs and will be invaluable. Collins, Diggs on the outside and Dell in the slot...Dell and Diggs will interchange to give different looks. The Texans were in 21-Personnel (at a much higher rate than the rest of the NFL) due to injury and thin depth last year...won't be the case this season barring worse injuries. Diggs pushes Noah Brown down to wr4 instead of wr3 like last year and Robert Woods is in danger of being cut...and he played quite a bit last year before injuries.
Good on you for admitting you were wrong, but you’re absolutely wrong when you say no one believed he would be good. That’s your Michigan bias. Here in Houston most of us wanted the Texans to draft him and we believed he would be good.
CJ really, really easy to like and pull for. Watching him up close here in Houston has been a joy so far. Good times in H-town. Rogers didn't play till his 4th season so his first year was steeped in the NFL for what amounts to another College career behind Farve. Juice had injuries and didn't look at good early (playing hurt) as he did by the end of the season. Also, his worst showings were at LG and not Center, the position he was drafted for. He looked good late in the year and his best position is clearly at Center...and he will be the starter. He actually looks juiced in minicamp...pardon the pun. His body looks more muscular and mature than he did this time last year...I've been to both camps. Nice show...keep it up
Honestly, CJ and Jordan Love are my dark horse picks for MVP. I can see the both of them putting up amazing numbers and potentially lead their respective teams far
I am a fellow Buckeyes fan I thought he was the best in Colleges and the best coming out the draft I had Hendon Hooker 2nd & Believe it or not Aiden "O Connell!
