yep literally signed XFL players lol that's why the running game was nonexistent and Cj would get hit multiple times. overall, with a beat up Oline all year they did great even brought us back into the playoff picture since 2019!

Even more than Miami? Think it was 18 different combinations and had zero starters play more than 500 snaps (other than Austin Jackson)

@@mroverdose14 According to AGL, Texans Oline had an AGL of 82.1 last year. Which is over 10(!) more than 2nd highest in the past 20 years. Houston had the most injuries to their offense and had 4th most to their defense - giving them the highest AGL overall by a massive margin. And the highest overall AGL since they've been tracking total injury games lost. Miami ranked 8th overall last year in offensive injuries.

@@noahlutz8664 Mixed 'em up. I guess they weren't on the field long enough for me to remember the numbers! Eleven different players in a five man position group was not ideal for a rookie QB. It makes what CJ, Bobby, and the first-time-in-this-system line coach did even more amazing.

Base hits instead of home runs is an elite way of putting it. Was very clear the struggles in run blocking. Having watched both the Packers and the Lions this past two weeks, the difference was staggering! Should be huge room for improvement this coming season!

That’s fair! He was efficient, I just didn’t feel it showed his skillset as well as the Bengals game! There was a lot of underneath throws and taking what the Colts would give up in the pass game for me!

Yeah that is certainly obvious in the way he plays. He doesn’t ever lead his receivers into trouble, so that one with Tank was an outlier. Like we both said though, it wasn’t on Stroud!

Being wide open doesn't change the throw...... A good throw is a good throw. Why do fans believe that this changes anything for a QB other than limit the placement options. If the ball is in a placement option that even if covered would be perfect...... Why are you holding that against the QB?

​@@mroverdose14 You are getting it wrong. I am not saying that it's a Bad throw. What I am saying it's that he exagerates the balls placement because the reciever had no one within at least 10 yards. Obviously the ability to navigate through the Mess and still manage to find the reciever is amazing, But i honestly think that any good quarterback could have made that pass, i think stroud has other plays that show it's accuracy better.

@@mroverdose14 In my experience people say that very selectively. I've been on this streak of trying to point out what people missed about Justin fields because unlike other QBs attracting hate, his career has been affected by it. When he led the NFL in offense for three weeks straight people just shrugged & only said "this proves he can't win." And when I pointed out how accurate his passes are that even the INTs & incomplete passes hit his receivers in the hands, they *_DON'T_*_ say_ what you said here. They blame him for being unable to read defenses which explains why the receivers drop his passes not at all.

@@ChewsCarefully These are people who are bias and have little ability to see context. They're lazy and only look at the results. Now, I personally don't like fields. Inaccurate (NFL is about consistency) 3 isn't remotely close enough a sample size to define a player. He didn't see the field well enough and processed post snap progression to slowly. The scheme wasn't great but he didn't develop in areas of an NFL QB enough to consider him a starter at that level. Him and Hurts have some of the same limitations but Hurts has actively tried to improve those weakness.

(The one time I don't write a novel about this someone makes points that require me to). 1) If he was great even in college but not in the NFL one has to look at the play-calling. But as far as him not being able to scan the field, that's pure BS. Another channel's hosts laugh about how Sam Mustipher's highlight reel is just a series of still shots of him facing back towards Fields arms out-stretched as if begging forgiveness. He was the C for all of '22. In another video I forgot to link to myself he leans over his C for this season, points to an unblocked defender: the C nods then runs the other direction. Fields gestures & asks "Wtf?" The jerk doesn't answer or even help Fields up after he's sacked. Now before anyone says "these things happen on every team" not like this. Not after your teammates says "got it" do they run away from the block. right before your eyes & let you know that they can't trust you, not run away from blocks. Other teams miss them occasionally. Not this often & not deliberately running away from them. So yeah, after a while your head & feet start moving to look for free pass-rushers _before_ you look for receivers & even then you're never sure you caught them all. 3) Three _isn't_ a remotely big enough sample size? You sure? If Zach Wilson suddenly put up three games of excellent offense people would cheer he'd turned a corner. Some people Have Charisma. Others seem to attract hate. Eberflus boasted about meddling in the offense & despite him having no experience doing so the press accepted this Without Question to the extent that they never again asked to speak to Getsy. & there was a second streak in '23 where the offense played better. It was right after they acquired Sweat & a new DC so Eberflus was too busy elsewhere to meddle as much as he normally did in the offense. Coincidentally, this 5-game stretch also used the same plays as the 3-game one. Since even coaches on the same teams don't use each other's plays, these are Getsy's plays So we have a 100% correlation between who is the main offensive play-caller & how well Fields does. So, if it's Fields' issues, how tf is the HC unable to account for them even after being shown how, twice? At that point, even if he has issues, it's the fault of the play-caller shown how to overcome them if they don't use that knowledge. Again, this is assuming it's Fields' issues. Go look up any highlight reel. Even his INTs from '21 feature receivers falling down, failing to run routes & in Mooney's case, deflecting passes that hit him in the hands into those of defenders. He's incredibly accurate. There's more, but that video link showing his o-line deliberately letting defenders through to him multiple times alone should account for him becoming jittery. I mean imagine seeing your own teammates do that to you... Then you come onto the sideline & all your coaches act like everything's normal. It's amazing he didn't have a complete nervous breakdown. There's tons more evidence that Poles & 'Flus wanted him gone, but if the above doesn't convince you, more won't either.

Everyone should have tape to study by the end of the regular season, but it didn’t work for Cleveland. These teams prep week by week for opponents, I’m sure someone’s pooling over their opponents games throughout the season and in the offseason, but the tape argument is such a stretch it’s kinda funny.

This is the worst and laziest take ever. Tape or not no NFL team is ready for what CJ is about to become!
