This is off topic, but I have been looking for a brush you used on your eyelashes to apply mascara directly to the roots. It was a separate brush, not a normal wand it was a while ago and I can’t find it. Would you possibly remember which one and have a link?

I saw a little eyelash curling trick on instagram. After putting on mascara, push your lashes up with your finger. It really works. Well, you have to clean the mascara off your finger, but it works! I hold my finger horizontally to do it all at once on one side, then the other.

I use this foundation and it is my holy grail. I am 55 years old and work 12-16 hour shifts as a nurse and it stays on all day/night. Everyone is different and our skin is different from one another.

I'm 27, I love Clinique. Their bronzing gel, their cc cream for redness, and blushes have been my favorite. Also I've found a lot of Clinique products at TJ Maxx and Marshalls, and once in awhile Ross.

Congratulations on reaching 60k subscribers! I think your excellent “shorts” are giving you more visibility! Like you, I used Clinique in my 20s and well into my 30s. And it is the line I introduced my daughters to when they started to wear makeup in high school. I liked their cleansing bar in the green tunnel shaped case and the soft brush to distribute the suds around my face. I don’t use it anymore, but last year I purchased a favorite lipstick I wore in my 30s in the shade Raspberry Glacé for my 65th birthday. I hadn’t worn it in years and curious if I would still like it and I do!

I’ve been binging on your content today - I’m 66 and it’s wonderful to find someone talking to women with more mature skin but who still love makeup. I’ve used Clinique since I was a teenager I think - I had allergies to lots of brands but never to Clinique. I am always being told how great my skin is and although I live in Australia and have always spent too much time in the sun I thank Clinique for that. They had active ingredient in their skincare before it was a thing. Still love loads of their products but I mix and match more nowadays. Thanks 💄🇦🇺💕

Clinique used to make a mascara in a green tube with a white cap. I don't recall the name, but it was the best mascara I had ever used. I have sensitive eyes, it never irritated them, didn't smudge and gave be beautiful lashes. Clinique why mess with something that was already perfect!

The High Impact mascara is the best I have ever used. It never smudges or flakes ! Perfection !! I agree that the foundation is awful by the end of the day. Plus I don’t think the color is right for you. I definitely would return that one ! The rest of the makeup looks beautiful !

Laura, so happy you did a Clinique review. I quit using Clinique foundation in my 50’s. Too matte or too moisturizing. I still use the high impact mascara, I have many eyeshadow palettes and love the duo with pink chocolate, love the pops in blush and bare, they are so creamy, eyeliner in smoky brown. Skin care I use moisture surge, it works well with my combination skin. Have used their toner for years. Yes, please do more videos like this! ❣️

I put moisture surge on at night, and then add a thick layer of the moisture surge overnight mask on top, and it's doing pretty good on my dry skin. The take the day off makeup removers, and the lipsticks are great too.

Hi Laura, I enjoyed your Clinique GRWM video. I also have used Clinique make up for years. My favorite Clinique foundation is their Superbalanced Make up. I put City Block Sheer SPF 25 under my foundation. Clinique Soft Pressed Powder Blush in Pink or their Chubby Stick Cheek Color Balm in Robust Rhubarb--a peachy pink shade. Lipsticks in Beige Pop, Melon Pop or Nude Pop. They recently changed the packaging and added new colors. I bought Sugar Pop but haven't tried it yet. Pink Honey is pretty too. Thanks for this fun and informative video, Laura Rae. I love that eye look on you. The mascara looks great. Recently I returned to Clinique’s moisture surge skin care line and found that I still like it on my dry skin. I definitely want to try a lipstick or two again. I’d love to see you try on that green shadow stick. I bet that would look gorgeous w your eyes!

Hi Laura from memory I think this foundation was aimed at oily skin, so it may just be too matte/drying for you. The rest looks great. I like the Clinique liners and their lip products myself. Compared to the price of some of the really hyped brands their makeup isn’t too badly priced. Some of the lipsticks feel more luxurious than Gucci etc. I think it’s a brand that still has something to offer even if it’s not a social media darling 😂. Best wishes x

I think Clinique has quite a few makeup gems. I like their eyeshadow duos although it looks like they just reformulated them so not sure if they changed. I like their mascara and lipsticks including the pencil ones that are sheerer. I haven’t tried any of their foundations recently. If you can get beyond the original 3 step line, they have some good skincare products for mature skin. My husband even likes some of the skincare for men!

I thought the original application of all the makeup was nearly flawless, I just thought the foundation was a little too light. I didn't even see the end-of-day makeup changes until they were specifically pointed out! I used to use a Clinique foundation, don't remember what it was called, but really liked it. I'd love to try the mascara whenever I'm in the market to replace what I've got currently open! Also used to use a Clinique sunblock that worked marvelously amazing on my oily skin - don't remember what that was called either, though! 🤦‍♀ 🙄

I’ve been using the Even Better foundation mixed with Elf Halo glow. I dab on the Halo glow first then dab on the foundation and mix it on my face with my BK beauty 101 brush. Works for me and my 67 year old skin. Great video, Laura Rae!

What a great video featuring Clinique!! I personally love Clinique lipsticks - I wore Clinique lipstick in Sequin and a lipliner in Poppy for my wedding 31 years ago! I also love the Intense MIdnight liner. I also have Hazel eyes and their navy is beautiful and long wearing. I also love the shade of blush you chose! I haven't tried their mascara, but my mom loves it! My misses: I was not a fan of the eyeshadow. On camera, anyway, it looked a little patchy and hard to blend, but maybe that's just how it seemed on camera. And, if you don't mind me saying, I think you have a beautiful complexion and feel all you need is a tinted moisturizer or BB cream at the most! I've seen your reviews on those and think they look really natural and youthful on you! On camera, this foundation looked heavy to me. Have a great week and hope the sun comes out!!

I have been using that same foundation and mascara for a few weeks now and I like them. I have used Clinique products off and on since my mid twenties because of my sensitive skin. I've always liked it. I am just a little deeper in skin tone than you but I wear CN52. I think the alabaster is a little light for you. I use a little more product and mix it with my IT Bye Bye Foundation. I also use a primer with it. I always liked their lipsticks especially the Pink Bamboo. I've used it for years.

Regarding the foundation, in my 20s and 30s Clinic foundation was beautiful on my skin but as I’m a tour woman not so much. I did like the eyeshadow look on you. I thought it really brought out your eyes and worked well with your skin tones. I didn’t like the blue pencil with those shades of eyeshadow, however, although it looked OK. The mascara is compelling and I am tempted to try the new one. I’ve also always enjoyed Clinic lipstick. They last forever in the tube and stay creamy a long time. Thanks for doing this. I had forgotten how much I like some Clinique produce especially black honey. Did not know there was a pink honey and so now I’m, definitely adding that to my lips as soon as I get it 👍

Thank you for doing this on Clinique! Now that I’m in my 70’s the foundation is not working for me and nothing I’ve tried really does. I think I’ll try the Catrice you spoke of. Misses for me are: the eyeshadow base, the eyeshadows lack pigment, the high impact irritated my eyes. The foundations can go orange on me - loved the almost makeup but discontinued. Hits are the color pop blushers and lipsticks.

Laura you cheer me up! I love your channel so much plus I get great ideas and reviews. You should try the ' clean girl look' for fun. It's about very light eyes, lots of mascara, no liners, vibrant cheeks and highlighted cheeks and light clear pink lip gloss with a tiny bit of lip liner. It's so youthful looking when I tried it. I haven't used Clinique since my 30's (much older now!) and never developed a liking for their products. Saw another channel profile the Clinique Even Better Clinical Serum Foundation and thought, "why not try it" since it was promoted for mature, dry skin. WOW. What a disappointment. I normally use Ilia Tinted Serum and love how my skins responds to that formulation. I don't use many eye enhancement products and am very picky about mascara. Love your channel and how genuine you are. I am inspired by mature positive women who are discovering new joys in our season of life. Have a lovely day, Laura 💜💜💜

Haven't used Clinique since high school. I'm 60. Don't miss it. There are so many way better brands out there releasing better quality products at better price points. Even the drugstore has surpassed them by miles. I also stopped using all brands that are not Leaping Bunny or Cruelty Free Kitty approved.

I use Clinique and really miss their cake eyeliner in navy blue and blueplum they were so pretty. I have their eyeshadows and the black honey. I use to wear a beautiful Fusia shade of their lipstick but that was back in the 80s. I don't think they make it anymore I miss that shade. I love Clinique I have the blush in Cupid. Not to mention they last a long time. I still use their loose powder and all their products last a long time. You look so pretty with the look you created. 💛

Thanks for this video. Loved seeing a few Clinique items I haven’t tried! Loving the deep blue liner a really nice break from black and adds a youthful pretty look. But have so much for ten faces!. I’m surprised you didn’t use a primer and the foundation is too light just my personal opinion. But you know better and we all know what works for us. I’m light but go a tad deeper as I’ve aged it makes me look younger. Healthier. You’re skin is so nice and you have no eye bags nothing no crepey lids very lucky! Lovely eyes! Eyes are my problem but even in my thirties I had them. Did u have eye surgery? Just curious …have been looking at different beauty sites and they talk about their story. Agree I love lip pies from this brand I have the same one you use and own 35 or more lipsticks and many liners but use Clinique most of the time. Pretty eyes. Ty!

Thank you so much for your kind words. I have not had eye surgery. My eyes are shaped just like my mom's. Even at 81, because of the way her bone structure, she had very smooth undereyes and her lids had very little extra skin to cause crepey lids. xoxo

For eye primer I just use a matt concealer. The only Clinique product i use and love is their powder foundation.

17:52 I bought this foundation with the suggestion of the counter woman. 1st I told her extremely dry skin & realized after I was gone. The woman didn’t know what she was doing. She also used the machine to get my shade & it was honey. I have light skin & it was extremely dark. I was so upset. I think you should know something about makeup if you’re gonna work with it. But I am gonna get me some pink honey

clinique foundation was something I used so much when younger, not sure the formulas kept up with new technologies. I am trying to find a great drugstore blush: would you consider looking at the different ELF blush formulations, they seem to be well rated but I am overwhelmed with choice haha x

I love Clinique but they seem to discontinue their best sellers. they reformulated Happy perfume, my fave. Men always compliment me on it, always! they're overpriced now. I won't buy anything for their prices now. Your eye liner looks gorgeous in this video!

I remember my first blush from Clinique was the New Clover shade... I tried the Lash Doubling mascara, irritated my eyes so much I couldn't wait to remove it . The new mascara that you tried has fibers in it, for those that have sensitive eyes like mine, it wouldn't be suitable. I'm quite happy with the Milani Highly rated mascara 🥰 I use the blush from Essence and Almay cosmetics as well. Take care everyone 🌹

Hi Laura Ray, have you ever tried a eye primer for your lashes, it make your eye lashes look bigger, it also helps your lashes condition them, because before I was only using mascara and 1 of my best friend told me, your losing your eye lashes, she told me l need a good lashes primer, she order it for me, once I started using it, l couldn't believe it, my eye lashes were getting healthy again and longer, because before that, l couldn't even see my eye lashes, hugsssss ❤❤❤❤

Hi Laura, yes.... I just recently got the foundation too and it is kind of a fail for me... It is very very FULL coverage and it looks dry and cakey by the end of the day. It's weird to be called a "Serum" foundation because it's not medium, sheer or dewy. It's very long lasting, but does dry out. I like it when I mix it with the Revlon illuminating foundation and I will add a drop of moisturizer to it... I probably won't buy again... I'm always looking for the holy grail of coverage and moisture. Nothing has come close to the Chanel Aqua and I love the CC cream Illuminating from IT cosmetics...

Like you, I am using less from Clinique since I have turned 60. Their blushes and most of their other makeup products still work for me. The skincare not so much. I might try that eyeshadow base.

Laura, I just turned 61 on the 7th of this month of February and I have noticed the things I wore when I was young, I can no longer wear. I was told by a few representatives from different cosmetics companies that over the decades the products often change. They can be subtle changes from time to time, which add up to major changes. I prefer a satin foundation that dries down. I live in Mississippi; hot and humid 8 months out of the year, so I like a foundation I can wear year round. Is it possible to recommend one to me? I have normal to dry skin. I thank you kindly. ❤

I felt the same drying effect with the Clinique Even Better Foundation as well as with Estee Lauder Doublewear. Glam Girl Gabbie suggests mixing in some of the Elf Halo Glow Highlighter with a dryer foundation to add a dewier (more hydrated) look.

I recently tried the toner and cleanser and both are too drying for my skin. The surge protector moisturizer is nice.

You have the strangest over applying of lipstick I've ever seen. You put so much on one side and just a tiny bit on the other and you keep applying and applying. That might be why your lips are overly dry. by the way your channel is so good and so helpful. You cheer me up.

I have the foundation and I'm not a fan, I really only wear if I'm only going to be at home it also does not do any favors to my under eyes (with VERY VERY LITTLE applied) I'm a Grease ball in 30 min. I use because it's feels like I've spent alot of $ on a product that will other wise be wasted 😫 I also have their blush and it by far is NOT my go to, for me it just doesn't blend out 🥺...I haven't purchased from Clinique since I bought these and most likely won't again. (I use to wear faithfully when I was younger, I'm 57) Thanks Laura Ray for trying ALL these products you really do help me in my selections!! 🩷

I love Clinique, they are so underrated! I also used it in my younger years. You created a gorgeous look! The foundation works really well on me, I’m sorry it didn’t work for you 😞. I’m also getting ready to film a full face of Clinique 🩷By the way, we are neighbors, I also live in Florida and love your dancing shorts with hubby🩷
