I love how educated you are when speaking about the gentrification. You’re absolutely right! As a native New Yorker Im the one who views and experiences it first hand. It’s very tiring but I’m so glad people like you are willing to understand and help.

Hi Krystle! I LOVED your video!!! I am a junior in high school and started my college research this January and Columbia never fails to catch my eye. @@krystledicristofalo Thanks so much! I'm always looking for advice from currently enrolled students so this is awesome! I currently tutor kids in essay writing through my high school but I also think it'd be super helpful to find a way to build up my own tutoring service through this summer and through my senior year. If you have any stories or tips about how you started your tutoring or even extracurriculars that you found super helpful, I'd definitely tune in :)

I know this may be subjective, but how beautiful do you think Columbia's campus is? I personally am a nature lover so I love it when there are a lot of trees and other natural landscape. I watched a aerial view of Columbia's campus and frankly it looked kind of drab and boring, nothing but gray and red. Still, I cannot wait to go to New York City and have all these new experiences. Also, what are some things you do not like about Columbia (culture, programs, social life)? What are some things you liked and disliked about the other Ivy schools (Harvard, Princeton)?

Hi I got into Columbia GS to study financial economics. After getting a $20,600 PTK scholarship, I will still need to pay $120k in tuition for 2.5 years. I am not sure whether I should take out a loan to attend Columbia or not. I would appreciate your opinion! Thank you.

I'm in PTK and have received numerous emails to apply to Columbia GS. I'm not sure I want to now after seeing how much you still have to pay after scholarship 😕. I am a mother of 2 children who are under 18, pay 3 car notes, and household bills. I would not be able to afford that and I don't want to be that much in debt either.

I heard of Columbia College in NYC..If someone graduate from Columbia College, does that mean since is affiliated with Columbia University, they get an Ivy League category or something like that ?

universities by definition have multiple undergraduate and graduate schools. Columbia College is one of Columbia University's undergrad schools, and it's the quintessential 'Ivy League' that people think of when they think of Columbia, so yes, it's an Ivy!
