@@enmalek130 equal parts dawn and vinegar....the dawn helps keep the vinegar from running down the shower walls so will cut through soap scum so much better :)
Yep, vinegar plus Dawn, I just spray it on then leave it for an hour or a day, then wish it off with almost no elbow grease. I have an executive membership, and they pay ME to be a member every year. Love their gas quality and price.
I just told my husband the same thing! Our shower and tub have just been resurfaced and I want to keep it so clean! I am so doing the shower life hack with a scrubber from the 99 cent store lol! We live right next store to it so I’ll be going today!!!
Yes girl! You've got to use the silk pillow! It has totally changed my hair.. I don't have the duo sided but mulberry silk is so good for your hair and helps with facial wrinkling while sleeping
I use a broom with plastic bristles just for my shower with dawn. No bending down or having to be in it! Takes seconds I dated a mechanic that left motor oil in my bathtub all the time. Got it right out!
I love your honest n hilarious opinions on products. I especially appreciate not having to buy an item to find out it’s garbage since you did the leg work for me. 😂
I haven't even watched the video but it is VITAL that I express my love for this channel! I found it so late compared to most, but I am currently working my way backwards until I watch every video. This is my favorite notification to get! Thank you for always giving us such amazing content and entertainment. It always makes my day better, no matter how my day is going. Much love to you and your family from my fam in Texas too! Wishing yall nothing but health, happiness, and continued success!
I have silk pillow cases and I have to say it does make a difference to you skin (hair too) you don't get the creases you normally would get. There are also beauty pillows too that keep you from sleeping on your face that can cause creasing which encourages winkles. Silk pillow cases, yes they are good. Silk pillow cases and linen sheets, wonderful.
YESSSSS!! The silky pillowcases are amazing! When you wake up, your hair is nice looking and smooth. It lessens the friction and dryness on your hair and skin. Good buy!! I think you'll love it too. Great splurge!
The silk pillow case is so worth it , I have been using mine for 5 years, I find my skin is less wrinkled, creased ect and my skin care feels like it doesn’t get absorbed into . Check the quality of the silk as apposed to cheap silk blends .
I bought the silk pillowcase several weeks ago and just bought a second one today. I have curly hair and it is no longer frizzy in the morning. I have had satin pillowcases before and they slid around. They bamboo side keeps it in place. I love it.
As a natural I can tell you a satin pillowcase or satin bonnet is the best thing for your hair. It stopped breakage and doesn't suck the moisture out of your hair.
@@NEKONEKOMAO yes absolutely or even just a bonet. Cotton sucks the moisture out of your hair which causes the breakage. I won't sleep without. You should seriously try it
I’ve had an instant read thermometer like the one you show for almost 10+ years. I got it for $20 off of HSN. It’s also made by Polder and it is fantastic! Has all the features of the one you show except the oven probe. For $20, I recommend it. Also, OXO brand (which is my favorite when it comes to kitchen items) has had a cleaner like the ScotchBrite (?) cleaning sponge for years, only it comes with a replaceable brush instead of a sponge. It’s another really handy cleaning aid. I’ll give the sponge one a try. Thank you for these fun and informative videos.
Yes, I've had the Polar temperature probe for 10 years or so. Same thing, works perfectly, is a necessary kitchen tool and I love it. Also have the silk pillowcase. These are not for me. Lay down, get the old bod in a comfy position and 5 minutes later my head slides off the pillow and it goes on all night long. Not only is my hair a mess and the wrinkles are not helped in any way, I also have a stiff neck and red eyes from trying to stay on the pillow, but I got no sleep either. That's 5 boos for pillow. Yep, really sucked for me. ❤️
We have satin pillow covers, but we got ours at Walmart. They are REALLY nice and we enjoy them very much. I also have curly hair and it helps keep the damage down while you sleep.
As someone on a long hair care journey yes the pillow is so worth it. My daughter has very curl hair and every other pillow makes her hair tangle. And i have straight long hair so i braid it at night and use a silk / satin pillow and can tell a difference vs if i don’t. 💜
Oooh, I absolutely love the dish wand hack, my shower will thank me for it! Vivian, you're always full of tips, hacks and side hustle ideas. You da bomb, girl!
I have natural african american hair, and I Love my satin pillow! It has saved my hair from breaking off, especially my edges, and it is cooler than cotton IMO. I dont know about the skin, but having the pillowcase can't hurt.
throw the thin mint pretzels into the freezer and snack on them that way. they’re incredible when they’re frozen!!!! really brings out the mint flavor too.
Vivian, yes the pillow case is actually on the lower end. I know🙄 they sell for $60+ . Also you want to make sure it's the mulberry silk. Not any other silk or satin (which is more course) give it a bit and you will love it 😎
The silk is really awesome for preventing wrinkles and those squish marks after waking up, because your skin can glide over the silk. Other pillowcases, out of cotton, gets your skin kind of caught in the material, so your face gets smushed and it leaves behind those marks and in the long run they become wrinkles. For that price you should definitely get your whole family one, because it’s an awesome deal. I don’t know what the bamboo really does, but actually you don’t really need both sides of a pillowcase anyway… or do you constantly flip your pillow to use both sides?!
@@lauriebarcome8365 ok sry, my dermatologist once explained to me that the same mechanism that leads to those marks can also lead to wrinkles on your face. So I probably explained it wrong 🙈
Ever since I ran across your channel..I'm addicted 😉😊 you're so entertaining and create good content!! Keep up the great vids❤👀 I love the honesty, sarcasm and just all around humor!! Can never go wrong clicking on one of your videos 😉 thanks for the energy as well!
First of all, Costco has an EXCELLENT return policy. I literally just returned several items I had purchased in November of last year that were supposed to be Christmas gifts. However, I misplaced them during an unexpected move prior to Christmas and I just found them. I didn’t need them anymore since I’d already replaced the gifts at Christmas time, and I was able to return them to Costco with zero fuss, AND without my receipt, even though some items were holiday specific. Also, Costco price matches themselves within 30 days of purchase. So if you buy something and it goes on sale within that time, you can get the difference refunded to you via cash, gift card, or debit/credit card refund. I LOVE COSTCO! I have that scrub brush- I’ll say that I initially liked it because it’s the only one I’ve used that doesn’t leak, but after not too long actually using it, I began to dislike it. It dispenses way too much dish soap at one time (for dishwashing anyways) and when only like 1/3 of the soap is used, it starts dispensing irregularly…like sometimes not at all. Also, after not much use, the rubber by where you press to dispense soap starts to come away from the plastic handle, and then it starts to leak. PS- I also have that exact thermometer, but I find it to be inaccurate and difficult to store 😢
My Dad has totally approved of Costco only because of all of the samples they have out all of the time. He went with me to Sams and no samples. :( lol. The other reason I love Costco is they have more organic, name brand items than Sams. Also their Gas Station savings is phenomenal! I save anywhere from 15-25 cents per gallon over Shell, Chevron, ect. I save about $2 per fill up in my truck so that over the year will save me around 90 dollars. So I will make back my member cost plus make myself $30. Then on top of all of the sales they have on stuff I would buy anyways throughout the year it's a definite win-win for me.
Satin pillow cases are awesome. They definitely help with hair breakage. I absolutely love mine. The price is reasonable to me. Cheaper cases fall apart and are not silky.
Hi Vivian fellow Texan. Amazing channel. I told my sis about the pillowcase thingy we had a good laugh. I told her to get one and sleep with the pillow on her face and see if it works. She is 68 and I am 67 so to look 10 years younger would be amazing. Or she can wear it and the pillowcase can work for the hair and face at the same time. We had a good laugh about it. All kidding aside, I love your channel. You are one of a kind. God Bless you. Jan From Texas
I been useing the scot bright shower idea for years it cleans the toilet well also but use different one for that. Also use one to clean windows and patio door.
I love my satin pillowcases, they help keep my hairstyles intact, They say it is more gentle on your face- maybe so, but I haven’t noticed! Love your videos😊
Girl, I bought my guy a satin pillowcase from Dollar Tree.. He used to get little red marks on his face from the regular pillow cases. Now he doesn't all. So believe the satin pillowcase story. I swear it works even for $1.25 pillow cases. Love your videos!!!
Omg! I absolutely LOVE the thin mint pretzels! Bought 3 more bags to freeze to last longer throughout the year. To me they are sooo much better than regular chocolate covered pretzels! Sent a bag to my sister in Maine for her birthday! Don’t knock ‘em till you try ‘em! Yum!
I use that kitchen scrubber in my shower. Every time I shower, I rotate scrubbing 1 wall (don’t 4get to count the floor as a wall), so it takes about a minute. No scene in scrubbing for hours. Plus every time I dye my hair wild colors, that scrubber is the best!!!
I am just right here waiting for the hospital to call me about my transfer to virginia because i have a accident and right now i have burn third degree in my esophagus and stomach while my 2 daughter was sick i dont gonna lie are being a rollercoaster crying painful no eat bein away from my baby 1 year old but when i get the notification about vivian uploading video i forget everything and i run because this girl make me forget everything with her comments girl God bless u always and for ever vivian you are the best you cant imagine what powerful you are for the people like me i know i am not the only one keep u amazing Job girl because u killing me every time with those comments we need moreeee vivians in this world🙏🙏🙏😂😂😘
Waterloo sparkling waters are like the top of the line and taste AMAZING!! Typically 3/$10 on sale at grocery shop so even the non sale price is fantastic.
I’ve been having the Scott brush for a few years lol I use it in my kitchen on dishes and love it ! I never thought about it for the bathroom , brilliant 😩
They have so very similar at Dollar Tree. I used my friend’s old ones that she replaced to clean my service dog ‘s crate and it made the task so much easier plus it saved on water
Love that scrubbie thing. This is my Costco shopping day and I will be hunting for 3. I am preparing a late Mother's Day package for friend of almost 30yrs...she will love one too.
Mint Oreos taste a lot like Girl Scout Thin Mints too, and they’re at Walmart, HEB, etc. I want to say they’re in the 3-4 dollar range for a family size.
I HAVE THE SILK PILLOW CASES SND THEY HAVE HELPED MY LONG FINE HAUR SOOOOO MUCH. I sometimes I have to go to sleep with my hair wet and up in a ponytail or scrunchie and my old regular cotton pillowcases would not allow the hair to slip around and it would just snap and break off. These pillowcases allow the hair to slide and move with my head movement and there is way less breakage.
Was watching the news and I just could not do it. I saw your video and had to watch. I am far from home for the next 2 months working and I need the distraction for life right now. Thanks Vivian!
I use to buy those soap scrubbers but stopped because I got tired of the soap leaking out after three or four uses. You need to be sure you hang it up with the sponge on top. If you lay it down, the sponge needs to face the ceiling! Vivian, you are so like my oldest son! The more buttons and gadgets, the better!
I don’t even live near a Costco. BUT I still watch all your Costco videos purely for my entertainment…well actually I watch any upload of Vivian Tries. 😆
Hey Vivian, love your videos! Save your money and return that pillow case! Glad you said TjMaxx cause I got mine at Amazon still cheaper than that! I like sparkling water but I'm not a sparkling water fan! I hate that you said "flavor" because I think it gives essence of but flavor to me indicates taste of sweetness or sourness or salty or something. And the meat thermometer is nice but not my favorite price! As far as the scrub brush, you can get those other places as well. To me it's not multi use because like you said, you get it for the bathroom you use it for the bathroom, you get it for the shower you use it for the shower! Still a great deal! Some things are a great deal to buy in bulk!
Walmart carries a chocolate mint cookie year round that is spot on a copycat of the Girl Scout thin mints. I think they have a copycat of the Somoa also. Take a look and try them out.
HEY VIVIAN, For hair protection that pillow case is a YES. Because curly hair gets mussed/matted up on regular pillows. A slippery surface pillowcase helps with that jacked up bed head. For reals.
