@Charlene Robertson I think whilst we all hope that if we found ourselves in her shoes we'd do something, a lot of victims of abuse (which it was alleged she also received from him) will simply shut off and be compliant to avoid further abuse. She definitely could have -done- more but the blame for what happened to these kids ultimately rests with the abuser.

@@judewelos abusers do. She was being compliant to the fathers behavior, and it was neglectful. Many toxic people and abusers were or are being abused, and it makes it understandable, but not acceptable (sorry if any of this doesn’t make sense, I don’t quite remember this episode cuz it was a week ago and I was binge watching them)
I honestly got nauseous when she said that her daughter told her that Daddy makes her tutu feel good in the bathtub. I applaud Steve for him being able to control himself around some of these monsters without punching them in the face! I'm sorry but this woman is not mature enough to have children!
No you wouldn't if I was on that jury you would be found NOT GUILTY! And given an award for being a good parent! There is a special place in HELL for any man that would hurt ANY child but much less their own child! I could tell he was lying from the get go, you could look at him he was guilty as sin! GO GRANDMA thank GOD for this grandmother! But just because you turn them in does not mean they will put the SOB's in jail. Personal experience so many times its the child against a lot of grown people who seem to want to protect the rights of an abuser more than the rights of a child that has no choice.

I was that little girl. She's got a long road ahead of her, especially if she isn't getting mental healthcare already. I'd love to speak to that little girl, assure her she's safe and loved and that she can talk about it and heal. I feel so heartbroken for her!!!!
These are the same moms who become jealous of their daughters when they get older and pretend not to know and ignores them when the daughter finally says something to them.

5:25 I don’t like how he advices people sometimes. Specifically women. He has to be considerate about the persons trauma. When you’re in a situation like this it is very traumatic to act accordingly. It is never the victims fault. It might be easy for him to do because he’s a man and a big guy but I’m pretty sure, judging by the mans behavior shared by the older female, he could’ve and most likely have hurt her.

Steve you are genuinely a great guy and the world could really use more men like you. You are a real and true role model for men and women every where. I’d go as far as saying you’re the closest to a super hero this world will ever know! I haven’t always been a great man but since I started watching your show a few years ago I’m proud to say I have turned my life around and have become a better man and person all around. As a woman who was in an abusive relationship myself, I couldn't bear the thought of my children (if I had them) being abused in any way by someone, let alone, my abuser.
That mother messed up with the first child knowing her daughter was molested listening to him do it and does nothing.She has a chance with the second one to be better hopefully she took it and did better for the kid. As for him he better be serving time.

That’s what I said. Steve’s wife is so lucky to find such a gem. Men should be protectors. Protect the vulnerable in society that’s mainly the elderly, children and sadly in some cases women.
I recently saw this episode and it's one of the most disturbing ones so far. Jessica should’ve protected her daughter no matter how severe the situation is. It’s horrible that Randy got her pregnant again, they don’t deserve to have a child. Why? One sexualizes them, the other does nothing about it I truly hope that this predator serves life in jail.

He’s beat her so bad she has no confidence left. It’s easy for us to judge her I truly hope she leave him if she doesn’t she will have her unborn child and her daughter taken away from her and that will be the very best thing for her children

Honestly the grandma is her granddaughter hero in the long run because the mom saw all the red flags and she did nothing about ... Like when I needed to see it ... And Steve said you have seen it like that broke my heart for the little girl even more ... It makes me sick to think this precious four year old baby girl is gonna be scarred for the rest of her life because of what her dad ... Right there, when Steve asked him if he believed that someone was molesting his daughter, and his immediate answer wasn't "Yes, I do!", I knew he was guilty.

Something way off with the mom. She’s a little “slow”. If she stayed with this man I REALLY hope someone took their damn kids.. cannot STAND “mothers” like this. My husband and I have been together since we were 14. Have 4 kids. He’s the love of my life but believe me, if I ever even THOUGHT he was doing absolutely anything inappropriate we’d be gone and straight to the local PD IF I could control myself from doing much worse.
The father told one true statement on the show: "I am not doing nothing to my kid!" -Father That's right- you are NOT doing NOTHING because you ARE doing SOMETHING. 😒
