not always- my ex used to accuse me of cheating all the time. I was 5 minutes late walking home from work, that was supposedly because I was cheating with every single coworker. I was cheating with our neighbor's boyfriend, cheating with another female neighbor. He was the one stealing my money to go out drinking not coming home til 7 the next morning sometimes. He had zero evidence of me cheating- because I never did it. When he'd start accusing me, I'd get on him about not having proof and telling him to show actual evidence, although I had seen texts from him to other women. I'm 34, only been with my ex and current boyfriend- so I really hadn't been doing what I was accused of.

The body never forgets so she may not consciously remember however subconsciously the memory of the abuse does unfortunately live on. As little as she is it would have been traumatic for her if there were vaginal tears. That doesn't just go away by itself. She will need specialized care at some point no doubt and until then she needs to be nurtured ,cared for and protected . I truly hope those two get the book threw at them .

A single dad can't always fill a space of a mom, so I do agree she may be traumatized but not by the memories but of the betrayal.

In this case, absolutely disgusting person, however. That answer was the reason I genuinely thought she might be a decent person at first. Because she is absolutely right, you should NEVER think someone could "never" be capable of something. There are mothers like that on this exact show. Where the child tells them, and they disregard them. If a child tells you something like that, you NEED to follow up on it, even if its your husband, friend, brother, father who you think could "never" do that. Because the truth is, not everyone is a molester, but anyone might be. You will never truly know another person's mind.

Be careful with them. I’m a twin + I’m now 25 years old. When we were 8 y/o, my mom went to hang out with her friend that had a girl around our age and a teen son. The teen son kept calling my sister and I beautiful and my sister was thinking he was sweet. He ended up saying he wanted to take us all into a room one by one to “talk”. He ended up basically grabbing my sister and locking her into a room with him. I started screaming and freaking out as soon as he did cause I felt like somethin was wrong but my innocent mind didn’t know what was. He opened the door and he was on a couch cuddling w her. He ended up letting her out and putting me in. He put me on the couch and was trying to silence and hold me down. I fought back. Thankfully, nothing happened but he did try to cuddle with us the whole night and get us alone. It was scary and after that we told my mom we didn’t want to go back to that house but we didn’t say why. I still think bout the daughter around our age, I feel like the brother might’ve been doin sick things to her too 😢 it’s terrifying cause my mom was upstairs while we were in their basement but she had no clue what was happening
