Hello! I’m a Senior High School student in the Philippines and this helps me a lot to gain information about Dawson College because i’m thinking of studying there. Do you mind if ask you questions about the art programs they offer? or how should i start my art portfolio? Thank you so much!
Hey, Can you please tell me i am from india and i want to study in dawson for business administration but it requires maths and i haven't studied maths in 11th and 12th grade. So i want to know whether there are entrance exms like if i study maths syllabus in india and give entrance exm for business administration or pathways? And also what is secondary 4 mathematics in quebec? Please tell me
Dawson Better than abbott. They offer more summer courses options, full selection for night courses schedules, better customer service lines, simpler building access, better course content.
Hi! Would you be kind to share your view and prospects on the job market for undergraduates of your course? I’m a 28 years old person who’s researching TV and Film Production programs in Canada, and Dawson College looks like a good one, but I saw on a comment that now you’re studying at Concordia University. As a poor wannabe international student, I won’t have too much funds to study more than two years in Canada D: So did you enroll to film studies at University because you wanted to, or because you “needed to”?
hey sorry for the late response! the market is very complicated and even myself I'm still in very much need of gigs and permanent film-related work. I took film studies to expand my horizons and because I had the privilege to study and work at the same time. In terms of the job market, there are always big companies coming to Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver (depending where you wanna go) to film and they always hire production assistants from the city. To sum it up the film PRODUCTION program in Concordia is worth it for the connections and hands on. Film STUDIES is not that worth in my experience. and obslly nothing can replace actual experience. good luck w everything!
Kamal Sidhu Videos I have no idea how to apply as an international student but here is helpful link www.dawsoncollege.qc.ca/admissions/admission-requirements/international-students/ and also you can email their office: admissions@dawsoncollege.qc.ca
Amogh Adhikari hi, the application can be found on their website and you can always contact the Academic Advising, they are always very helpful to international students

For some reason I chose to not go to school this semester. I graduated last June and I just chose not to go to cegep in September. What a waste of 4 months, I applied for winter 2022 dawson though
@@linsulteurpublique3654 for real man le plus proche de dawson en terme de "notre dame", c'est notre dame de grace. Alors shais pas a quelles devinettes tu joues

I want to get into Illustration and I heard it is really competitive. But Ive had my eyes set to that program for four years now. I need some portfolio tips. 😔😔😔😔
You can actually schedule an appointment woth one if the teachers so they review your portfolio beforehead and give you feedback, it's free and they really help a lot
I graduated from the program last year and my art skills are nothing to write home about haha, trust me, it's not as difficult as you'd think. Just have a decent grasp of fundamentals and show your sketchbook
@@Abeltonne I feel like I do. At least I THINK I do. Is there something they want that they don't tell you? I understand and read through the portfolio requirements. I also heard that the admissions department prioritize high school students (I hope I'm wrong though)
@@roysalibi Take what I say with a grain of salt, but while there is obviously a priority for high school students, there is still plenty of room for non-high schoolers. Half of my year consisted of people who were several years out of high school, and now that I'm in a different art program, it's the same case. Getting into the program is pretty easy and you shouldn't worry if you're not a high school student as long as you have a decent portfolio. I would definitely schedule an appointment with one of the teachers to review your stuff just to make sure though.
if you have academic-level English and/or if u had above 85% in English in high school, you should be fine, you will get on the same level as everyone by the 2nd semester
