Unwrapping the Truth - Christmas Series: December 25th - Jesus' Birthdate?!
Get ready for a revelation that will reshape your understanding of December 25th and Jesus' celebrated birthdate! I'm Pastor G, and this Christmas edition of Biblical Elucidations is here to shine light and reveal the truth-it's in the Holy Book!
Debunking Pagan Origins:
Contrary to popular belief, December 25th isn't rooted in rebranded pagan celebrations. There's no historical evidence connecting it to pagan deities like Mithras or Saturnalia. While Sol Invictus's temple dedication was on the 25th, evidence suggests early Christians linked December 25th to Christ's birthday even before that.
Conception Calculations:
Explore the ancient Hebrew concept of great individuals being conceived, born, and dying on the same date. Hyppolytus, an early 3rd-century writer, applied this to Jesus, suggesting His conception on March 25th. Counting forward nine months leads us to December 25th-a date rooted in "conception calculations," not pagan customs.
Biblical Clues:
Delve into biblical clues hinting at Jesus' likely birth in September. Luke's account of John the Baptist's conception and birth, coupled with his six-month age gap with Jesus, suggests a late September birthdate. Discover how meticulous details and patterns in the Bible align with the December 25th dating, setting it apart from pagan customs.
Christmas Trimmings and Pagan Roots:
While certain Christmas traditions absorbed pagan elements over time, the December 25th date uniquely fits Jesus, both historically and biblically. Even if it's not the exact day, the birth and conception calculations provide compelling reasons for this date.

I feel like this doesn't answer why his bday is specifically on December 25 which is a date alot of pagan gods are celebrated or born on and what does the bible say about traditions this holiday is not in the bible where is scripture that commands me to celebrate this holiday the way we do today.

Blessings! Thank you so much for watching and commenting. I sincerely apologize for not being able to adequately answer or bring clarity to your questions in this video. Please know that I did my absolute best to clearly present that December 25th as Jesus' birthday is linked to early Christian calculations, not pagan customs. And to highlight the ancient concept of great people being born and dying on the same date in ancient cultures. I also equally presented biblical clues, that suggest a late September birth for Jesus based on calculations from the accounts of John the Baptist's conception and birth. Yet, I found it important to acknowledge that some Christmas traditions have pagan roots but to explicitly argue that the December 25th date uniquely fits Jesus both historically and biblically. Although it is outside of the scope of this video the Bible does not command the celebration of Jesus’ birth nonetheless on December 25th or any other specific day. But I challenge you to look beyond the surface of the concept I presented in this video. I believe you will uncover a very interesting detail. 🤗

Why all the freemason hand signals for 6s?

At what time stamp did I make hand signals? I’d really like to see that. Although that would make absolutely no sense at all. I’m interested to see!

@@gclmedia Every 15 secs when you make the OKAY sign with one or both hands. Now you've got me wondering about how much research you've done, if you're ignorant of this....

@danmartin5516 blessings, I appreciate your comment and the opportunity to clarify. The "OKAY" sign made with hands is a common gesture (although I was just doing what came natural) and in my use doesn't convey any hidden messages. While I understand concerns about symbolism, but it's essential to distinguish between genuine communication and unfounded interpretations. Rest assured, my focus is on providing accurate information rather than conveying any secret messages. If you have specific concerns or questions, feel free to ask, and I'll do my best to address them.

Not a common gesture except among the elite. Regardless, now that you know, will you continue flashing the 666? We're watching to see.@@gclmedia

Absolutely not 25 Dec. Descriptions in the bible of things taking place when Jesus born place it around early oct.
@gclmedia
@gclmedia 7 месяцев назад
Blessings! It's a common belief that Jesus' birthdate is not December 25. Some biblical descriptions, as I have mentioned, suggest events around his birth occurred in late September to early October. (We are only talking a 5 day difference) take into consideration that Nisan, Sivan, Av, Tishrei, and Shevat consistently span 30 days each, while Iyyar, Tammuz, Elul, Tevet, and Adar consistently last 29 days. Heshvan and Kislev vary, being either 29 or 30 days in duration. So, it’s safe to say that interpretations vary, and historical accuracy can be challenging to pinpoint precisely. Again we are only talking a few days according to your estimation, not weeks, months or a completely different season…🤗

9 months after His inception on March 25. Of course we don't know if he was born a bit earlier or a bit later like most babies, gestation is rarely 9 months exact, but Dec. 25 serves as good of a day as any to celebrate the birth of our Lord. The Pagans tried to reclaim the date in the late third century but Christians has already been celebrating on that date for probably over 100 years. There is evidence of the Early Church celebrating Xmas on Dec. 25 in circa 200ad.

@@t.d6379 I’m sorry but it’s the other way around. I suggest you look up Mithras which predates Christianity. Son of God, died, rose on the third day, celebrated in the midwinter.
@t.d6379
@t.d6379 7 месяцев назад
@@eastcoast4233 nope. Pagan celebrations on Dec 25 probably predate Christian celebrations of Our Lords birth, in fact more than likely, but Pagan Roman Empire didn't try to officially set Dec 25 as a day of worship until the very late third century as a last ditch effort to reclaim the date from Christians who were celebrating Xmas and had been for probably 150 years at that time.
@eastcoast4233
@eastcoast4233 7 месяцев назад
@@t.d6379 it’s irrelevant as the changes in the months and the Gregorian calendar mean specific dates are meaningless. I’m simply talking about midwinter.
