This is shocking. If they have two different variants they must specify this on their website. I am a Denon user and a fan of their products but this makes me sad I could never have expected this step motherly treatment.😢
Guruji apne bilkul theek kaha k ye brands india ko kuch nahi samajhte, or humare pass bhi koi or option nahi hai inke products lene k siwa. Ap hi kuch shuru Karo jese ki speakers kiye hai. Or apke bookshelf speakers ki aawaz maire mind se nikal hi nahi Rahi hai. Mind blowing quality hai unki.
Bhai, I had bought Onkyo 616 and Sony 770 Receiver from US and Denon x500 from showroom in Bangalore. The US model built quality is very high compared to Indian models. Both Sony and Onkyo still are working without any service whereas Denon’s HDMI died once within warranty period and died again after warranty.
Very true sir. Not only Denon but other companies are also doing such discrimination. I have a Yamaha YHT 1840 package containing HTR 2071. Its documentation shows that the model supplied in Canada has an audio power rating of 85W per channel whereas models supplied in other regions of the world output 70 Watt per channel. Please go through the documentation of other companies also. Thanks and kudos for raising such an important issue.
Aapki baat sab aur ekdum sahi hai. But there is a big difference between the indian people and people from other countries. I have worked with dell computers in hardware and warranty support both with US clients and indian clients.. Bhai jitna jhol aur jhoot aur fraud indian karte hai waisa wahan US mein koi nahi karta.. Yahan par customer warranty mei call karta hai bolta hai monitor ki screen kharab ho gayee hai aur replacement chahiye.. Woh banda jo monitor warraty mein hai uska same sticker banake koi dusre poorane same model ke monitor par chipka kar usko warranty claim kar leta hai.. Aur phir uske paas 2 monitor ho jaate hai.. Parts mein bhi waise hi karte hai.. Aur sabse badi baat to khud dealer customer ko sikhaata hai yeh sab jhol kaise karneka aur phir woh parts dealer black market mei bech deta hai customer ko thoda commission deke.. And because of this mentality of indians yahan warranty sirf 1 saal ki dete hai foreign brands waale aur extented ke liye pay karna padta hai.. While working with dell i had the same question ke indians ke saath bhed bhav kyon.. But jab main indian customers ke saath deal karne laga tab sab pata chal gaya.. US mein sirf customer ki zabaan par parts direct ship ho jaate hai without any proof of the problem or damage because jab US mein jab customer ke kharab parts wapas woh bhejta tha woh genuinely wohi hote the jo usne originally purchase kiya tha.. Its just the way the mentality of indians is.. Hum har cheez mein jhol rishwat corruption hi sochte hai.. Tum dekho na apne khudke indian brands apne hi indians ko 5 saal ki warranty kyon nahi dete.. Because they know indian people.. I really hope new generation changes our way of thought process..
Sir, you are absolutely right regarding Denon products in India. I am also the owner of Denon x250BT. Franking speaking I am not satisfied with the decoding of 5.1 sound with this AVR. This is one of the reasons I am looking for another AVR. I short-listed Onkyo TX-SR393 for my Polk audio TL 1600 speaker set. Please advise whether this is a better choice for my 140 sq.ft. room. ?
Baat toh theek hai Amit bhai but this is not just for Indian customers. This same model is distributed all over the Europe. Same thing is there with the Pioneer LX-505 which is a 9 channel driven and 11 chhanel processing AVR. But the catch is that the American version comes with 11 terminals just like the counterparts in Denon and Marantz etc but the European version which comes to India has only 9 speaker terminals. Which was too quite annoying for us.
jab hum apne paas se iss quality ka product khud nahi bana sakte toh bideshi company hume aise hi treat karenge. Hamare apne koi khud ka dhang ka amp bhi nahi hai.

Bhai maine denon ko mail kiya tha is bare mein kareeb 3 mahine pehle woh bole ki iska do variant ata hai eu aur us. Eu variant mein front preout ata hai par us version mein nhi.
Very very sad sir, bura toh 100% lagta hai aur ap toh sache insaan ho isiliye Kapil ji ne kuch nahi kaha, aur hum India walo ko down karne ka rights kisi ko bhi nahi hai, Denon company you should have to change your cheap mentality and learn some respect 😌
Ye almost sabhi companies krti hain, USA models sab high end and full features wale hote hain, mera Yamaha R-S500 bhi different hai, european, asian models same hain parantu US wale me jyada features hain.

I don’t know since how many year are you in this industry.. denon every year or 2 only change the model name.. and any minor upgrades they do .. y you assume and convey to your customer .. that it a upgrade model only they change the name 1600 to 1700 then 1800 internally there is no change at all .. same with every model of Denon .. I don’t how you thought that I will be upgraded.. it’s kind of software update only
Brother all brands do that we have Indian products in England that is totally different from what they sell in India. And you can always check which model and which variation is specifically being sold in India.

You should have checked, you say you are in business for several years but you don't know that US & UK models are very different. Even Watts per channel is different in some models. This is not new!
yes but it is not the brand responsibility to mention upright that the model varies, especially the new ones?? the dealer also buys in box, and they don't get the audition or demo of what the will buy. How hard is that for you to understand this??
