I still think that the Dilo _HAS_ to have the same Night Vision that they had in Legacy regardless of their dietary needs. _Or lack of._ Then on those really frequent dark nights in Evrima, it will once again become that same night terror it used to be. By the way. Nice video 8-))...

Remember that no playable that has came out has been perfected from the gate When cera came out it was op bc of the vomit lock, but they reversed back on it and now it's pretty balanced So dilo would most likely not be a different case and any issues that exist within it would be probably addressed

My biggest critique of Dilo is the venom fog NEEDS to fade faster. Long after I've escaped or won the fight I still can't see or hear anything for what seems like 10-15 minutes.

I hope dilo and herrera dont overshadow things like omni or cera or even carno, at least with their bite attacks, reason I say that is because right now they both bite about twice as fast as an omni or cerato, which is kinda crazy considering dilos bite is apparently stronger than omnis as well, not to mention cerato was intended to have a “fast” bite even though carnos bite was simply reduced in 6.5 which is fine imo since carno does alot of damage

The fact it is the fastest carnivore (Except carno), its venom and fast bite with quite biteforce and 700 kg (700 hp, i may be wrong i dont remember how u calculated that) and poor bloodpool really balances Dilo, with the new stam that gonna be probably getting more tweaks over time omnis will have quite a chance with dilos. Dilo is quite fragile, but fast and strong. Its most likely to be an ambush predator and if dilo is skilled a 1v1 would do it. Quite challenging to get the venom on, Which means that for a good and succesfull hunt a dilo would need to lure the prey (bait attack) and then get bites on it, and then just use the venom and eventually some bites.

Also does anyone realize that all of dilos 1call variants sound the same just at different pitches, despite that there were at least 2 variants, at least in Dondis streams, the one on the test map is what we’ve heard (or at least me) but I haven’t heard the one that he did in the gateway stream with the rain, which kinda disappointed me cuz I liked that variation better. It's venom duration needs to be dialed back. It lasts longer than a leg break and that's a huge problem IMO. It should be on par with vomit sickness or food poisoning. Not having your scent for like 10 minutes is the worst of it.

I take issue with your take on the fights with the pachy. You say that if you face tanked it you would have won but that's assuming the pachy had a death wish instead of just walking off. You'd die before you recovered from your injuries. It's a great video. I think the best on the Dilo. But I think people are very mistaken on how effective the Dilo will be. Dilo solo will fall to Omni and Carno. Can't turn enough and will need to run from Troodons. And it can't solo pachy. Doesn't make it useless but I think people are going to find it's limitations to be more than the current feedback is selling. The dinos that can take Dilo down are very meta.

2 of us grew tenos today. Ofc we ran into a pack of about 10 dilos. My problem with dilos is they tear through your stam insanely quick. Within 2 min of the fight, we both were out of stam. We are both pretty good players and know how to ration our stam, but it was gone so quick. I never saw anywhere that it said it took away stam, but it seemed to do the same thing to your ai tenos. If that's the case dilo will kill everything on the isle if it can get a few bites in and your stam is gone. I'm not 100% sure yet, needs more testing.

Dilo seems pretty well balanced so far

I’ve come to learn that dilos are extremely confident but only in packs. Was on my 46% Stego and 2 dilos (80% and 60%) tried to hunt me. By themselves. The 80% got walloped in the face and died instantly (duh) and then I sleep after that so that I get a W and take it to. The 60% who was hiding behind a hill after their friend died then tried to kill me when I was 5 seconds away from safe logout. Needless to say they didn’t succeed and I logged out with my Stego successfully

tbh I can’t wait for dilo. I want to troll the stegos once I can put my hands on this menace

So are the AI tennos out now? Someone said they removed them and increased other ai spawns, but I don’t see increased normal AI. Also deer are despawning immediately once you kill them, I can’t say whether it happens to everyone or just Dilos.

Dilo don't look to be a 1vs1 good dino but with pack i think its gonna be deadly.

How long hallucinations last?

I love the map honestly, but I have a lot of issues as well, I think the map is way too big for a 100 player cap on official servers I hardly see anyone on full servers and then the AI spawn for carnivores is worse than spiro and very random too. No one seems to actually be in the migration and sanctuary zones and no ai there either, I died 9 times as a dilo tonight due to just starvation..literally hours of sprinting around and nothing. I hear migration zone and I picture herds of animals like the scene in jurassic park not an empty field. I also think teno ai should not be a thing or not be a playable. And one last thing the dilos venom wont be much of a problem considering the map is either night or coverd in fog and storms most the time

I’m don’t think AI teno should be a thing. They should add animal ai, I never said they have to be small either.

It is genuinely beyond me why they coded the teno ai to not use the kick, its strongest attack that would actually make it somewhat harder to fight. When it knocks you down, instead of kicking the shit out of you, it slaps you around with its pool noodle arms that can't even finish off a raptor. Then again, you need to have an actual understanding of the game's balance and be somewhat good at the game to be able to code ai that can fight back properly, and this game's ai coder doesn't even know the stats of the creatures, so it's not surprising.

Man idk if ur pronouncing things wierd on purpose or what but these abbreviations should be pronounced as such. Dilo=Die-lo, pachy=packy, and ptera=tera (idk how u get petra out of that) your vids are overall very entertaining but the pronunciations are hurting my brain.

For me, the dilo is a bit of a disappointment. Fights should not be prolonged. Because someone else can casually appear and take your food. I don't think dilo is good at keeping food. To kill in the shortest possible time and to eat as quickly as possible and then disappear. The servers are now full of dilo and herrera players. For example, I didn't even see deino, stego, carno, pteranodon, omni, teno players. But nothing else. There were a few ceras, but that's about it. I hope that this hype will die down soon, because at the moment the gaming experience is very unbalanced. People are happy that they can kill each other (let's say that's what this game is about, but in this case there is no other option, since there is no prey), and that they can climb trees like monkeys. I mean, it's funny and quite useful. But mostly this is only good for observation. You can get to places that were previously unreachable. Rock outcroppings, high peaks, and trees. But none of these will get you ahead in catching your prey. But it remains to be seen what this all brings to the game in the long run. I don't know when the herbivores will come. Because now meat eaters are absolutely in the majority. In any case, the majority of players are more thirsty for blood than to graze on plants. I wouldn't have believed it, but I'm crying the deins back into the rivers. Today I swam several times across a river that I would not have dared yesterday. But I knew that almost certainly no one would swim as a crocodile.

Ill be the one to say it. Herrera and divorce both are extremely underwhelming and not worth the wait we all waited for. Herrera needs a actual grapple pounce from above, and dilo well. Dilo is just extremely underwhelming it feels cheap imo and the hallucinations only help so much.
