Kyle thinks that every attraction has to be changed to something that people know already? That guests just go from ride to ride thinking "What is this?", unless it has Disney IP?

I don’t understand why Disney doesn’t just create new rides and leave the classic ones alone. They have the space. Like they should have left the great movie ride AND create the Mickey railroad ride. Leave Figment (refurb it) AND make an inside out ride. They need to step it up. Universal is creating a whole new theme park. Disney needs more rides because lines are horrible.

Disney is overstating the stand-by wait times on purpose- to keep people buying Genie+ / Lightning Lane..if it says 50 minutes.. probably closer to 30🤷

Very much appreciate your vids and your opinions. Being so knowledgeable about Disney helps many in planning trips and also investing if so be. Your relevant(real) content exposes why the parks are loosing their appeal. The more and more people see what and why it is happening hopefully the eyes and ears seeing it work in the Csuite and expedite changes. Like return to pre-Covid hand book.

As to the Figment thing, I don't know if his days are limited as much as that they'll do a revamp, them either bringing back Dreamfinder or them doing something to improve it has been rumored to be announced at almost every D23 event for the last 2-3 years, with them adding the Figment meet and greet plus them pushing him as the new Epcot mascot and him being the face of festival of the arts I don't see them phasing him out of the parks completely

Between the heat and prices its not worth it for me to go to WDW or Disneyland I would rather spend the money on disney cruise and I like it better than the parks.

Disney over priced so many people out the rides are old kids now don't know or care about 70s 80s 90s rides if they aren't broken down they are closed for who knows why you have to plan when your next fart is they sucked out the magic with greed I used to love going now I don't think it will ever happen again

Disney also isolated those with ADA requirements, so those people are not coming to the parks, and many are not renewing their passes.

I prefer advance notice that the attraction is closing that way anybody that does want to do it one more time has the chance to enjoy something they loved. Stitch's Great Escape didn't have it fair as it was supposed to reopen and never did, and now it's empty. It's Tough To Be A Bug also had NO NOTICE when it closed in California Adventure. For Figment, I know they won't do it, but I think it'd be cool to see Imagination Pavilion become the Imagineering Pavilion. Similar to like Spaceship Earth or Horizons (never did it) but it shows you how Imagineers imagine ideas and then Figment is your not-so-obnoxious guide! Inside Out would work too, but we shall see!

Figment the original was iconic, update like country bears needed. However I do like inside/out! Thanks for walkthrough in Epcot!

Kyle you have to remember the "thing" they posted post they made of figment entering the imagineer building. So, I belive the only possible is a retheme. And with the announced figment movie with seth rogen i think it's safe to say they will keep him around to promote that movie. (I said thing because name of platform would not let me post comment.)

No!!!!! Figment is timeless. It’s not his fault that the ride stinks, literally and figuratively. I’ve so much love for him. That ride doesn’t do him justice

Guardians is the BEST and Disco Inferno was our first song and my favorite! I never get tired of it either.

Disney has priced itself out of range for the average person. I know I will never get to experience it, unfortunately. Dining in the park is more than my monthly grocery budget lol.

I used to go in the Summer. I did like 7 times. Before I started going in the Fall. I want to go when my youngest niece loves Frozen. Since I missed out when her Sister was into Disney. Not having big crowds, sounds good.

Inside Out they should just put in the building with Soaring. I wouldn’t want to see Figment go. Since when it was pouring out last year and I was stuck by Figment. I went on it like 5 times in a row 😂.

When you consider all the unused buildings and how big they are in EPCOT there's TONS of empty space.

They don't use powdered ice cream and haven't for.decades..that was a very short lived thing..and the nobody makes it anymore cause mcdonalds is the one who made the powdrler...and another thing...do.u really think disney would use powder milk...ppl would lose it! Literally ppl.would revolt lol

If Disney gets rid of Figment, it will be the nail in the coffin of Epcot. They can't seem to make a good decision to save their lives. What will it take for Disney to learn not to mess with beloved and iconic attractions. Update yes. Replace, no.

I find it hard to believe they’re gonna get rid of a character/ride that they just created an entire festival around. People literally waited in line for nine hours just for figments’s popcorn bucket. He’s very popular.

People think if ur not waiting 2 hrs in line or rubbing up against people it’s dead in Disney but no one wants that it’s normal to not wait in lines and lines I’d say waiting in lines for anything is mismanagement and should be discussed

Problem with replacing figment is that it doesn't have the rider throughput to make it a big ticket ride. It just can't handle the people per hour unless the gut the entire track and ride system. And I think Disney will just put all their eggs in the MK expansion and drawing more crowds to AK

It was a prime July 4th 4 day weekend and the place was empty. Maybe it's the fact that Disney robbing guests every chance they can. Way to expensive for the average family.

Disney should always follow big films with attractions both parks and DCL. They must make more effort in this area. :)

Disney has alienated there core group of fans for to long. I was a passholder for over 20 years and have now had enough of the gouging for no other reason than greed.

Figment has always been my daughter’s favorite since her first visit at 4 years of age. She is almost 42. We would be very sad!

We were there last week and it was not too crowded. Even on the 3rd and 4th. Yes, MK was busy at night for the fireworks. How about this concept… an inside out ride with Figment and bring back the dreamfinder.

Kyle, can you one day do a video on mobility scooter rental at Disney? I had w knee replacements last year and wondering if a scooter would be beneficial.

I think they could definitely come up with a new way to incorporate figment and revamp the ride. Maybe make him his own Pixar movie and make him more of a main character.. I didn’t grow up going to Disney world so I have no idea who figment is in terms of his place in my childhood. I’m sure some people would miss the ride, but I think if they did it right it would bring a new love for the character.

The old figment ride was so much better than this new version. I don't know why they got rid of it. It always makes me smile. How much you love the guardians ride. Good job, Kyle.

I also do like the colors of that building… I think Disney needs to bring back more vibrancy, it symbolizes more excitement… they need to definitely utilize the space they have.. from seeing all these videos it appears there’s a lot of unused existing spaces

That Figment ride has gotta go along with so many other of these kiddy and outsated rides. Also the extremely underwhelming construction at Epcot that took so long isn’t gonna really draw people in. I honestly feel like Disney is completely losing it. Absolutely no thrill besides maybe 7-8 thrilling attractions across all 4 parks. Plus with prices going up and the super hot temperatures, I don’t think people can really justify taking a trip to Disney right now.

I think you are on to something with a revamp of the Figment ride...he is "Imagination" which can play on the Emotions...maybe they can create an inclusive ride with both Figment and the Inside Out Emotions??? I am 55 years old and was first in Epcot in 1980 and most recently in 2000. My understanding of Figment as a concept is the ride was meant to represent different areas of scientific research. I don't know of any original IP that he was a part of. Sure, he's cute, but even Mr Toad had a movie...🤔😘

Inside-out would be perfect to take figment’s place! I love me some figment, it has memories for me, but Inside out is a delightful movie and would be a super replacement! As long as they keep the fun in and make it super immersive it would probably work out great! Also I bet anything the heat is definitely what is keeping the people out of the parks! I love the hotels, but most people go to Disney World for the parks and there just isn’t enough shade! 😢😢😢😢😊

I agree, Figment had its time but it needs needs to go. There is rarely a line greater than 10 minutes for it. Outside of the ride, there is nothing out in the real world that ties anything to it.
