I haven't started watching but I just wanted to say I don't think doubles should allow two of the same character. Like in competitive Pokemon where you can only use one of each Pokemon. Not only is it more interesting to watch, but it helps balance the meta a little bit. Although balancing Pokemon is impossible, so maybe the analogy isn't that great...

5:07 I like how the "He could have teched it" actually still works, but in reverse. If it was in Ultimate, he could have teched the footstool. As it is in Sm4sh Wii U, he couldn't tech that HOWEVER in that game, if I recall correctly, grounded spikes (like what happens just before the footstool) are techable. So basically yeah, *could've teched it*

At 2:40 they actually came close to replicate what happend in the clip. If you look closely Ike clips into the floor for like a split second just to get sucked into the block.

2:25 blink and you'll miss it, but a couple of times I've spotted Ike appear just level or slightly below Enderman for sbout a frame or two when he got struck by upsmash. Maybe the KO was just freak timing on that happenstance.

The ike clip near the start of the video to do with ike's up be in general, when he is being hit out of it he secrectly continues to travel until the end of the hitlag after which he is put into his proper position and finally gets launched, my guess is that steves up b has somesort of special property that exploits it to such a deegree that ike can simply phase trough the stage without getting his postion updated or travels far enough down before the hitstun runs out, on the other hand there may be a frame counter for ikes up b decend to check if he is moving how he should (meaning, the game checks if his position has to be corrected every couple frame aswell as weither his movement has been interupted (simmilar to how super mario bros checks if you completed the level every couple frames)

The reason Ike dies is because he went beneath the stage, you could tell by the smoke. It was right during a stage transformation so it probably had something to do with Ike’s downward momentum + being hit with the lower part of Steve’s up smash. I think all of that combined clipped Ike through the stage.

2:31 You can actually see something weird here if you look closely enough. If you pause the video and go frame by frame _(keys: , and . on your keyboard)_ You'll see Ike teleport under stage for 2 frames!

On min 4:00 is not Falco's grab range, it's actually Little Mac's ridiculous wonky coding. It has happened to me when fighting against him, he sucks me in or teleports or whatever when clashing or when I'm in advantage... Of all chars I hate to fight against him the most...

That first Minecraft clip: that's Bedwars, not Skywars. Similar concept but it's a bit more sophisticated. You have a bed that you need to protect while trying to destory other people's beds. If your bed is gone, you can't respawn. There's also resource generators on your starting island and surrounding islands and the goal is to buy enough items using said resources to win. You mainly want diamonds and emeralds since they get you buffs and the best gear possible in the game. I've played the game since it's alpha stage with friends but long since retired. Not all of us can commit to games all our lives...

2:50 try starting with Ike not standing on top of Steve, and Up-B moving towards Steve while aiming for the perfect pixel on the corner of the block, these kinds of glitches usually have to do with vertical and horizontal collisions not agreeing with each other and that's the direction the Ike was moving in the original clip.

Reverse Fair into fsmash can also be true without DB, you can also connect things such as Dtilt or ftilt

2:38 I think that for it to work they have to put the block exactly where ike's hitbox is and for some reason it disappears

I think the Magma Block popped up at just the right moment to push Ike down through the bottom of the stage. The closest you guys got was having his that collision push him back on top of the block even though he was below it for about a frame. Maybe with 1 frame later timing, he could have gotten bumped down?
