My mother would make us junk packaged stuff as a kid, our diets were frozen foods and sometimes cans, she would just throw stuff at us and force us to eat, she didn't take any pride in cooking or doing stuff for her family. I was the absolute opposite of her, I loved veggies and fruits so I would prepare it for myself, I would wash and cut up and eat them raw for most of my childhood, I hated most packaged foods, I would freeze bananas and eat them instead of ice cream even though our house was always filled with junk. I would often be invited over to friends houses because I was outside for a lot of the time while my mom would study or work, she didn't want me making noise at home so I learned so much about other cultures and their food we had Syrian neighbors that would always send me food or invite me to eat at her house it was so so good, even cheese sandwiches would be made with fresh mozzarella and homemade flat bread, my other neighbors were Chinese and they would give me veggies dumplings or egg rolls that were so awsome, but I hate fish so they would try but I disliked most meals, its like everyone knew I was neglected and couldn't do much but try and offer help by feeding me, I learned quickly how to wash myself and even was taught to work the machines and would do the laundry by around 7 or 8 because no one else would do it. But now I am a SAHM to 6 beautiful blessings and I try to make them good homemade meals and take the best care of them all, but this triggers me seeing this makes my heart hurt because its not easy for a child, it may seem like the dream for a healthy child who gets feed well and taken care of but for those of us that were neglected and only had the junk thrown at them all the time as kids know its not.

I would actually be so embarrassed putting that amount of Little Bites into my cart. 😬

It makes my mom brain so enraged seeing what she feeds her kids. If you have that kind of money you could feed them real food with real nutrition and help with all the medical issues. My husband works every day in a charcoal factory. He does electrical work, and we still struggle to have extra money. It's insane the amount she wastes. We have 5 kids, and the house we live in is trash. We've been here for 8 years, and nothing has been updated. There's a hole in the ceiling in my youngest twos room. It's moldy and leaks so bad. The floors are falling through bc of water damage. She doesn't realize how lucky she is to have extra money to throw around. We need 1100 to move, but guess what? That's hard to come up with. And here she is, throwing huge amounts down the drain. Makes me sick

It drives me CRAZY that she doesn’t have a water cooler dispenser or a few of them!! They have subscription services where they will bring the big jugs of water to your home and take the empties! It’s ridiculous, she would cut down on waste and have cold fresh water all the time!!! We are poor and we have one in our house because we are on a well, it actually saves us a ton of money instead of individual bottled waters! We cook with it, give it to our pets etc. we have a dispenser that has the hot or cold dispenser, we also have one for spring water and one for distilled and alkaline water, it’s just weird and doesn’t do that!!

Private insurance companies typically don’t cover pediasure. Medicaid in the other hand, easy to get approved but in all my years of billing I’ve never seen one a specific flavor approved. More than likely the issue is the company dosent have a variety of flavors.
