The problem is that the album sounds like 3 different albums. and she wasn't teasing a beach album. Training season and Houdini sounded darker than the rest of the album. I think the problem is with the track listing and It needs more story (sonically) that leads up to the the bright side of the album. Another problem is that she's probably on vacation instead giving us performances and entertainment , cause these more into an era than just the album it's self. Performances and videos give us more story and entertainment. So to me I believe she's just lazy now☹️
So what I’m gathering is she had a sequencing/transitions issue on the album. That’s fair. I personally think it felt like variety to me but I see where you’re coming from
@@StiloReacts the album feels like watching episode 1 of a series then jumping to episode 8 I feel she should have provided more dark songs after training season that would lead to the lighter side. So I feel like this album should have been the deluxe. Also her lack of passion and energy is the problem it's very clear that she's chasing the bag and she said it her self
@@oyintandoshai it’s been some time since I heard it but I got the vibe she was looking to tour an upbeat album, even Houdini which is produced by Kevin Parker felt upbeat to me and didn’t feel like a massive departure sonically. I’m interested to see how people respond once she tours the album, could be an album she wanted to have fun with… if anything future Nostalgia seem to be more towards chart topping success than this one. And I don’t have much of an issue with that. Different eras call for different music.

Why she didn't release what's your doing and Maria? They are bangers. Movies, Porches and saint Laurent, podcast. She's making an empire, not music.
Dua has been so successful since DL1 up to the present Radical Optimism and especially during Future Nostalgia🎤🎼❤️🌻🌹🥰😍. And I Believe Dua Lipa will do more better songs in the coming years. She gives me so much happiness ever since I discovered her❤. Wait for DL4, it's gonna be a blast again like FN
One simple word *glaze* nowdays big artists like Taylor *definitely not Targeted* if she releases a bad album people won't care just will listen to it even tho if its bad because they are trying to make their favorite artists go big and stay big like Taylor Swift I'm not saying Taylor Swift doesn't release some bad songs but still some are mid

There have been several artists that have worked with him since the case was closed. Multiple 1#s by him since the case was closed. Where was all this crazy energy? I actually don’t know enough about this particular era to give an opinion on it, I did do a Katy Perry video on a single she dropped for this roll out (it’s on my channel a couple videos down) but I don’t know enough to speak on the entire era, but I spoke a bit about the Dr Luke stuff in that video.
It done better at charts than Future Nostalgia and even though not promoted it is still good in Spotify. Btw Future Nostalgia was pure pop album but it felt me like I have to dancing like a robot but when I listen to RO I feel each song’s emotion and the vocals ah these vocals on fireeeee her concerts are sold out and she is stadium girl right now but yeah numbers are low still but Dua’s works not about consuming fast it is longevity.
Stability is more important than higher sales in a week. FN was the album of the pandemic, defining an era. On the other hand, RO doesn't entertain because it doesn't have good hits, the lyrics aren't interesting and only 3 or 4 songs are saveable out of 11, the others sound like they were included on the album just to finish it and sell it, but not to define a sound or style. Compared to FN, RO is a downgrade.
