The copper bowl is used for hand beating egg whites and whipped cream. Roll up a towel, and wrap it around the bottom of the bowl to hold it in place and insulate it. Something about cold copper just makes the whipping better.

Those copper bowls are for whipping egg whites. They don’t need a flat bottom because they are cradled against the body while using a whisk. Mainly they are specialty items because the copper metal reacts better on a molecular level to the whipping action.

I have noticed when I comp on Ebay that I won't find many listings of a specific item that I know isn't rare. I skip over to Google and use the same search terms and get listings on Ebay. When I click on those links it sends me to the item in someones store. Why isn't it shown in the regular Ebay search? This has been an ongoing issue. Have you even comped to buy an item using Ebay mobile only to get to your PC and find completely different information that would have changed your decision to buy or not buy an item?

In our 30's we paid off a car and never stopped making the payments, just put them in our savings. By the time we needed another car we paid cash. Always keep for at least 10 years or more. Never financed again.

Suggestion...if y'all come across any old wooden frame window pains , they make great doors for a locked box for your booth👍 just build a wooden box with shelves and put hinges on window for a door, install small lock👍

Your experience with eBay listings explains the problems I’ve been having. I have no idea what is not selling because people can’t see them. Also, all of a sudden, I’m making a good number of sales on really, really old items that I was planning on de-listing because I thought they’d never sell. Weird.

Hi, I'm a new viewer to your other channel and just found this one today. You have a round bottom, copper bowl with a dent in it. I have two comments on it: 1) I believe it's for whisking like...a meringue. You chill the bowl and beat the egg mixture with the bowl tilted on the side. I'm guessing that's why it doesn't require a bottom. 2) I watched a show on YT today where he got a dent out of a copper ball using a "glue stick". He'd heat up a stick with some kind of heat gun (NOT a glue gun!!!) Then when it cools down he pulls on the remaining glue and after a couple of tugs pop...out comes the dent. Love your channel, you are both so adorable! PS: The restoration channel I saw the copper dent removed is: Rusty Shades and his name is Johnny. It's a great channel, check it out. Thanks! 👍

I was watching another reseller that talked about eBay changing some of their rules. He had an issue with something that caused the buyer to give him a bad review. It was all about shipping and apparently it was eBay’s mistake. They sent the order to the buyer so they would get it 2-3 days. EBAY did an authentication so it didn’t get to the buyer for 2 weeks. Seller calls eBay to let them know what happened. They asked for eBay to remove the remarks they said they couldn’t do that. They have never had a bad comment before (one of the top sellers). They went to the customer and explained what happened , asked them to please remove it. They did, but they were unhappy with eBay. You guys are doing wonderful with your sales! I had my eBay store in my house in a spare room, but I’m moving to a smaller place so I’ll be putting it in my storage which is less than a mile from my place. The round bottom bowl can be held steady by a kitchen towel tucked around it. Or you can use a sauce pan & set it on top, (especially good if you are heating what you are mixing..)

I buy and sell on eBay and I frequently buy from one particular seller. It amazes me that when I’m looking through her store if I sort by one of the filters it says that there’s 106 items and if I sort the same set of items by say, high to low, the number of listings drops down to maybe 17 listings. it’s definitely got some bugs in the selling side. I have definitely had the same problem trying to find listings and have gone the Google route to even look items up because I know that people are selling them but they don’t show up when I’m trying to price check things .

Def a few glitches happening. I have accepted offers and it just disappears and a few hours later it will notify my item sold 🤷‍♀️and I have noticed that my new listings sometimes will not show up, it will be in my store but not in the search.

Hey Guys, absolutely love the content! I used to live right across the border in Brunswick County, spent a lot of time in Myrtle Beach, even worked there for a while. I can't speak to the selling end but from a bidding perspective bids I've made have been disappearing on me, days after I've placed the bid.

I just found a boy scout hatchet in the woods stuck in a random tree. Sold it for 45 plus shipping, heck yeah!!! As for Ebay I do think they are pulling some squirrels stuff, how exactly and why who knows. Rolling out social credit system is my guess and we'll see it continue to get weirder until they openly say what they are doing.

I think your copper bowl was made especially for zabaglione, an Italian drink that requires a lot of whisking over warm water. I've never made it, but it looks interesting.

I started selling in March. Since then sales have become more frequent to where I was getting them most days and December was pretty good. I had 1 sale minimum the last 8 days of December and pretty good sales the first 30 days of January with at least 1 daily. Since that time my ebay has been a train wreck. January 31st 0 sales, Feb 1 (4) sales all in a twenty minute period, Feb 2 0 sales and now Feb 3 I got 1 sale a few minutes ago. When its been dead its been almost completely dead with no watchers or offers. I list a minimum of 6 things daily and end and sell similar 5 items minimum a day and havent skipped a day since the beginning of November when I was out of the country for work. Im hoping things bounce back pretty soon

Do you guys charge shipping on everything ? I always figured free shipping shows higher in search and more desirable bit can't do free shipping on everything so usually will do flat rate shipping so it's still cheaper than ebay calculated shipping which is very high

I have been accepting offers that don't go to pending payment and according to ebay they are doing that for customers who have done a non payment in the past.... I am suspicious. IMO glitch

eBay suppresses all of my new listings for at least 24 hours. I sell ww2 photos, postcards and paper. The more woke eBay gets the more broke they’re becoming: fines, layoffs, investigations, LETS GO!

If you don’t make sales, you don’t make money. They can always find another “you” (and ME). Reselling has become more saturated than ever in the past 5 years. Most of us sellers are not seen as irreplaceable to eBay.

But if your sales are good, why would you think ebay is suppressing sales? And Julian said their sales are good, and if you list good, desirable items, sales of other items in your store seem to increase, too.

There's too many sellers and not enough buyers. They're spreading the wealth so to speak. If the markets weren't so flooded then sales would be more consistent. This obviously does not necessarily apply to rare items and items that are not super saturated on eBay.
